First off, the representative who assisted us was named Edgar, he was phenomenal! He had this ability to answer all our questions, direct us to what we needed and also clarify what we didn't understand. We didn't have to wait long at all and the service that he provided was incredible. I upgraded my phone and bought a couple accessories to accompany the purchase and I made the right choice choosijg this location. Pretty overall great experience. I came in because my SIM card stopped working and figured why not make it the time to upgrade mine and my brother's phones. I placed an "expedited" order online which I found out is different than when going into the store. Come to find out that you're better off going in store rather than placing online because they prioritize giving you the best current deal. Long story short, one of the two online orders didn't process and they were able to go above and beyond to ensure we got the full credits on the trade ins and were able to secure the current promotion of a free IPad and Apple Watch so long as you pay for taxes and the monthly data plan which wasn't too much overall price/value considered. If you are in need of an upgrade or weighing your cellular plan options, this Lompoc store is the way to go. read more

Do not go here. Take the 30 minutes to drive to a real Verizon store in Santa Maria or do it yourself online, you'll thank yourself in the long run with the amount of time you'll be on the phone with Verizon trying to resolve the issues they caused. Short story, I transferred 3 lines from TMobile because one of the employees quoted me a really price. Come to find out AFTER the fact that his quote was way off, by $80+/mo. Then when I turned the 3 old devices in (as part of the promo) one of the phones disappeared never making it to Verizon so I've been dealing with Verizon for the last 7 months trying to correct it. This an authorized retailer, not an actual Verizon company store. You'll get the slimy, salesman feel from just about anyone you encounter there. read more

Went here to transfer my husband's phone onto my account from AT&T. Ended up upgrading my line also. I will say the service was great when you are upgrading or getting a new phone. We even added on internet services from frontier. They set up the appointment and everything for us. Well, the day the internet was supposed to come I waited for hours and no one showed up. I called Verizon customer service and they transferred me to frontier. Only to find out Verizon only makes quotes and doesn't actually do any of the set up for you so had to wait another week. Frontier was great. I also was told to give an old phone back but in the past I was sent an empty box to mail it in. Called customer service because I couldn't find the direct line to the local store. He stated I needed to bring my old phone to the store and that for being a customer for over 7 years I qualified for a free Apple Watch and put it in my appointment notes what kind a what color. That way I wouldn't have to wait when I arrived at my appointment. Next day, not only did my appointment not matter, they are doing construction at their store so a desk was placed in the hot sun. When I finally got to talk to someone my phone was dead (my fault) but had to wait over an hour for a charging cable. Why a phone store doesn't have extra chargers is beyond me. After telling me the phone was locked and to wait another hour, just to say I needed to drive an hour to an Apple Store to help me out. I went home and unlocked the phone on my computer in less than 10 minutes. I returned the following day to turn in the phone and once again service was short and rude. They are only friendly when you are purchasing merchandise. Also want to state they never saw the notes from the customer service representative and that the only promotion was $200 off an Apple Watch. Customer service on the phone was great. Take my advice and if you can purchase online do it, it's very easy to set everything up at home. Or go to a different store. read more

Before Christmas I desperately needed technical help due to my iPhone SIM card not working. I was completely frustrated with this situation because I practically had NO service ALL day at work...until I was able to stop into the Lompoc store after work. Thankfully you have a GREAT staff, especially with employees like Juan. He was able to explain that I had not done anything wrong with my phone & was patient with explaining his process to fix my situation. During that time he was also able to look overlook my account and explain some savings to me. This made this stressful store visit turn into an amazing visit!! This occurrence was in August 2023. While trading in old phones we were convinced and sold the new 5g wireless Home Internet service. The service has not been great. When it went down today I called VERIZON customer service. While trouble shooting the agent asked for the address where my service was registered. After providing my Lompoc address he advised that on his end the 5g router was registered to an address on Pacoima CA. He told me 5g Internet service was not available at the Lompoc address. So in short this store is selling a service that VERIZON would NOT offer to me. Looks as they were trying to drum up sales and commissions by selling service that they had no business selling. Call it what you want! I still have my cell service but when I have the opportunity I will likely leave Verizon. read more

I had an amazing experience with my rep Steven. I was greeted immediately with a smile. Steven knew his phones and got me into the perfect phone with the appropriate accessories that I needed. He also got me into a better plan. Once Steven was done with me he sent me to Nicole who put the screen protector and cover on. I was in and out of Verizon in about 1hr. Furious right now as my husband went in to ask for information about our upgrades and discovered an order on our account that we did not actually authorize. They told us they would order phones for the store that they had just a dummy of, and we were just a little curious about so we could see if we liked them. Unfortunately, they were ordered against our account and wiped out our upgrade offer. We did not understand that order of the phones would be against our account as opposed to a store order. We called Verizon corporate to get them to cancel the order and restore our upgrade offer, but they were not able to complete the cancellation. I guess when there is a commission involved, they smell blood in the water and attack like a shark. I can seriously do without the drama. I don't need shady tactics in my life, so from now on, I will work with Verizon corporate stores and Best Buy only as they don't do things like this and have a wide variety of phones in stock. read more

First of all this is not a Verizon corporate store. I was switching from ATT due to poor area coverage so I needed to change carries. I was under the impression this was a corporate outlet but after trying to resolve my outrageous bill I soon learned its wasn't. They had me set up for a first months bill over $950. I never received a detailed receipt regarding individual charges. Hours a communication with corporate I was able to adjust my bill. I would advise a trip to Santa Maria where there is a Verizon corporate store. read more

I've never purchased a phone or received tech support here. What I have done here on multiple occasions is purchased a tempered glass screen protector for my phone. I always buy them at this shop because each time I have, one of the workers installs it for me. Each time (4-5 times) it has come out perfect. Not just ok, but perfect! I am giving 5 stars to the sales tech who sold me my phone, and 1 star to the monstrously stupid process. Buying the phone went off without a hitch. The simple act of getting the case turned into bureaucratic idiocy. When I asked for a refund on the (incorrect) accessories, the poor sales guy Joe had to call his district manager for a code (who didn't pick up the first few times) and the DM told me one accessory could not be returned even though it was unopened (he assumed it was). The process to buy my phone took 45 minutes. Fine. The process to get a partial refund took another 45 because of the ridiculous system. Joe also had to e-mail someone. Joe was perfect, but he works under a system strife with stupidity and waste. If the district manager Jim Sipres causes any trouble for poor, hard working Joe I will personally haunt his dreams. The buck stops with the DM. I can get a Burmese-ruby-encrusted phone case delivered by drone in less than 4 days, so waiting for a phone case the DM forgot to drive 17 miles to another store is insane. The ball was dropped by everyone except Joe the sales guy. Fix the asinine system and stop wasting everyone's time. read more

The person who did my upgrade screwed up on the plan, insurance, etc. When I came in after 30days (when I actually had a problem) the manager Jose' was rude and beyond unhelpful and informed me it was policy that after 30 days they are not longer at fault or responsible. I would give them no stars if I could. I walked in after the other Verizon store in Lompoc reset my cell and I lost everything. And then froze it. She didn't know what to do so she told me to come to this one. Best bet is to call them. Over the phone Verizon is amazing. In person the reps are horrible. I walked in and they were already busy. They didn't say hi or anything. They just looked at me like why was I here 30 mins before they closed. Then said what do I need over how can I help you! I told them the issue and they said I am sorry there's nothing we can do. They couldn't apologize. They couldn't do shit. They messed up and blamed me for it. So I called corporate and complained about how bad both these stores were run. The manager some chick who runs them both of them. Called me to let me know that it wasn't there fault. Said she would send me something like a gift card to buy stuff there. Well 5 months later I didn't get anything. I don't need anything but I don't need to be lied to and ass kissed. Waste of time. I wanted to switch my service from Sprint to Verizon. I was told that they could not use my iphone because it was locked. Also, they told us they could not calculate what our discount would be until after we did the switch. I ended up going to Verizon Wireless in Santa Maria and had no problem switching from Sprint to Verizon AND they were able to unlock my iphone. I don't understand can't the Verizon retailers cannot do the same thing??? read more
