My friend had a technical issue about password. Two people were being serviced and I told my friend, they're sales people they probably won't be able to help. As a few people came in, Kim would take a couple seconds to friendly greet them. When she freed up, she asked how she could help. I explained the situation and she discussed (quickly) on options and what might work. It was professional and friendly. We left and what she suggested, worked. read more

I've been going to the same AT&T store for years, and honestly, it's usually been a frustrating experience--long waits, weak customer service, and very little effort to actually help. Most of the time, if they didn't already know the answer, they didn't bother finding it. Today was no different... until Max stepped in. We went in ready to make changes to both our cell phone plans and U-verse to save some money--and truthfully, we were close to walking away to a competitor altogether. Max changed everything. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through every option. Not only did he get us exactly what we needed, he actually saved us money--and in the process, saved AT&T a long-standing customer. AT&T should do everything they can to hold on to Max. I have been unhappy with AT&T for a while and I think it's time for my whole family to make a switch. I put in for a callback and waited 40 minutes and then when they called me back the call dropped and they never called again. I recently made some changes to our Apple Watch Ultra and instead of warning me that I would be charged the balance of my installment plan upfront they said nothing and I received an extra $420 on my monthly bill. I never would have canceled the line if I had known. I also purchased their monthly protection plan and I still have to pay a large deductible to get a replacement. Coverage is not great where I am and they are super pricey. Really unhappy customer. read more

I would give this store a -100 if possible. Do NOT get a phone here. I SHOULD HAVE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS BEFORE EVER CONTINUING WITH AT&T. Do notice they have all 1 star reviews. And when all of us are saying we were lied too, prices are different than quoted, and management is RUDE - we are not all wrong. I've read every review for this store and my experience is the same. DON"T SHOP HERE! I've been an ATT customer for at least 20 years. Recently traded in a phone and was to be continued on the 55+ plan I've been on for years. I was quoted $60.78, for my monthly bill - and I have the paper printout from salesperson stating such. BUT - I received a bill for $270+ which included two lines (something I did NOT ask for and specifically stated I did NOT want, and it was not included in my quote!). The bill also has several fees, all of which I was told I would NOT incur because I was already an AT&T client (those fee are special fees for "new" clients apparently... and why? When Verizon and TMobile don't have the fees and give new clients a phone for free.) Anyway, called AT&T and they filed a fraud claim. They told me I didn't have to pay my bill until this is resolved. Yet, I'm getting texts and emails about paying my bill - several every day. The customer service rep instructed me to go in and speak to manager at the store where I bought the phone (the AT&T Store in East Cobb near Trader Joe's). Manager could not have been more rude. Told me without the box my phone came in - she can not help me. (I was never told to keep the box and the serial code can be found in the phone. She did not care about that.) I was told the 55+ plan was over so she could NOT help there either. Nor would she/could she give me back my trade-in! LONG story short - go to TMOBILE - they have better plans and are now considered to have the best coverage (even better than Verizon). My BBB complaint was moved to TX - to AT&T corporate office. But even they have not responded to me. Also - manager at East Cobb store would not give me back my trade-in and stated that it's "too late" now to get my phone back OR to get the trade in credit. With my trade in - I could get a free phone from Verizon. Go anywhere but AT&T. At least learn from my mistake. I'm not sure I'm going to get out of this contract - as I've received nothing back from the corporate store or the BBB. read more

I hate to give bad review! The customer service ( a young man) at the Roswell road branch was awful with exception to the manager named kim and a representative name Denzel. I want to put a complaint against the guy that was rude and gave inaccurate information. I bought a new phone 25 days later and went there today and needed help to delete information from my old phone and give it to get $1000 in credit. He said it will take an hour and I need to come back. I also said that my Siri does not respond back to me. He said that I need to go to an Apple Store. He said with was a Glich in my cell phone. When I questioned that ,He raised his voice. I asked why ? He should have better customer service he said he has great customer service. Another representative over heard our conversation and came to help. It took him 10 minutes . He was so knowledgeable. He helped me with Siri and my trade in . His name was Denzel. The customer service here was one of the worst experiences I've had. I came to upgrade my iPhone to the latest model, and I first had to wait over 30 mins before getting any help. Then the person who assisted me was one of the laziest customer service reps I've ever seen. He yelled my name from across the room and didn't have the courtesy of properly greeting me. I noticed that other reps were walking around greeting customers with a smile, but not this guy. His name was Lance, and he totally had the look and demeanor like he did not want to help me or anyone that day. To begin with, I tried to ask him questions related to the phones. I pointed to where the phones were and wanted him to walk over with me so I could point about specific things. Instead, he stayed seated and asked pointedly, "what's your questions" so as to try his best not to have to actually stand up and walk. I asked a few questions, but there were a few I really needed the point out on the phone. You could tell he was very disappointed in having to follow me. If not for the fact that I was very ready to purchase a new iPhone, I was ready to walk out of the store right then and there. After I had decided on a phone, he went to the back to grab it for me. I noticed he stopped halfway and started using his phone. It started to take a long time, so I went back to the displays and continued checking out the new features. It must've been 15 minutes later when I turned around and there he was, sitting at the table again on his phone with my new iPhone sitting right next to him. As far as I could tell, he didn't muster the energy to walk over and let me know he had grabbed the phone and we could proceed. As I was going through the typical initial phone setup, he made a comment to me to hurry up because he had other customers to service. But he was doing nothing to help speed up the process other than to rush me. Then I tried to transfer all of my data (pics, videos, contacts, notes, etc.) from my old phone over to my new phone. He told me that wasn't something he could do. He mentioned some company down the street that I could pay to do it for me. That was a shock to me as I remember in the past they've always been able to transfer everything over to the new phone for me. After checking with him again, I knew there was no hope in continuing dialogue with him. I packed up my phone and went home and began spending hours looking up and transferring all the data over to my new phone. I was extremely disappointed in my visit to say the least. This was not the first time I've bought a new phone from this AT&T store, but this experience may be enough to keep me away in the future for good. If you go to this store, just try to avoid the same guy I got. If you get him, politely pass your turn to the next person in line and wait for someone else to help you. read more

DO NOT go into this store if you want help with your ATT wireless account. They will act as if they are helping you but you will find out later that instead of helping, they have messed up your account big time! I won't go into the gory details, but suffice to say that I have visited this store 4-5 times in the last week seeking to upgrade my Iphone to the newest model and to add Asurion extended warranty coverage to the 4 phones on our account. This was a mistake and I am still paying for it. As an aside, at the end of my last visit, the agent and store manager encouraged me to purchase a protective case and clear screen protectors for my new phone. As my family spends upwards of $7,000.00 a year to ATT for cell phone, internet, direcTV and home phone services, while I said no to each suggestion, but hoping that they might acknowledge some responsibility for the mess they created and show that they cared about keeping me as a customer, I did ask for a free screen protector for the new phone. The store manager said they couldn't do that. However, the last agent who "worked" with me did ask me to have a nice day as I was leaving. read more

Man to say this place is tough is an understatement. Be prepared to pull teeth for any kind of service. Be happy if you get lackluster. We went in as i was purchasing my missus a new phone and the lady helping us just walked away for 15 minutes and came back with a mouth full of food and packed with lies to get us out the door. For some reason signed me up for something called FirstNet and since then it's been a disaster. They "gave" me an Apple Watch and iPad mini "for free" but I've been charged for them monthly. I tried to return them unopened and they said it was too late. Bill has been all over the place and no one can seem to fix it. I'll be switching to Verizon or T-Mobile ASAP. read more

ILLEGAL BLOCKING OF PARKING SPACES. The parking lot in front of YOUR store is a PUBLIC parking lot. You cannot designate who can park there using chairs and paper signs. You must get city permission and have proper signage installed if that is what you want or intend. Obviously the city has not allowed that because it is a PUBLIC PARKING LOT. Anyone can park where they want EXCEPT in the handicap spits as those are only for those with a handicap placard or license plate. Do the right thing and stop thinking you can do what you want just because you are ATT. No wonder your ratings are so low. I was furious that you tried to stop people from parking there. Trader Joes is right next door and customers have a right to park there. There are only 2 handicapped parking spaces way down from Trader Joe's doors. I have a right to park there if I want. You don't have a right to block public parking. read more

Long story short i am giving this store 3 stars because the woman who helped me was very nice. She was willing to help me anyway she could to get my new phone working correctly! The other side is i had to find a solution to my phone problem myself with the manager sitting 10 feet away from me. Every time she would ask him for a solution he would give her a 2 second response, basically saying "there is nothing we can do". Never approached me once, the manager is so incompetent. I'm 90% sure i saw a fly enter his open mouth and start walking around on the inside of his eyeball. I would suggest searching for new management. read more

My children arranged for an iPhone watch & new iPhone because I had a very old one to be purchased and activated on Mother's Day of 2022. I have dealt with this store way too many times but it's the most convenient because it's near my home they have always dare I say lied? misinformed me and as I can see by the other reviews other people as well example I was supposed to have fiber Internet at least five years ago they don't have it till today in my neighborhood they quoted my children a price on how much it would cost on monthly bills and they added charges my children didn't know about and these are millennial employed children with very good jobs & college grads and when I question some things they pooh-poohed me bowyer the bill came out to twice as much as what I was quoted, the phone does not work properly they didn't even activate the watch and they're charging me for it look at all these years that they've had such bad service and they're still operating and it has never improved WTH!! read more

Please, refrain from using this store for your phone and internet needs. A trivial problem that could be solved in a matter of seconds will turn into a lifelong drama. If you decided to do business with AT&T, just place your orders online or over the phone. If you prefer going to a store, go to Best Buy where the employees are knowledgeable and ready to help with a big smile. I`ve been having internet problems and got a lot of work and school work to do. I went to this store to get a tablet with 4g connection so I could get work done no matter what. I need Adobe Flash Player for my classes and online books so I was told, the IPad was not a good choice since it doesn't support it. I already new that. The representative told me the difference of the IPad and the Asus (Windows OS) would be that the IPad has ITunes but does not support Flash and the Asus only complaint was about not having the ITunes, which I don`t care about. I got back home to get my work done after purchasing the Asus just to find out it does NOT support Flash Player. It took several hours trying to download it and doing research to actually come to the verdict there was no way I could go around it. The tablet was now absolutely useless to me. I went back to the store trying to exchange the Asus to an Android that would support Flash Player. I was offered no help regarding the exchange and was told my only choice was pay the restocking fee plus the difference in the products cost or wait until Tuesday. The first representative didn't even know how the tablet worked and was researching if it supported Flash, proving that I was offered a device that did not meet my needs that were clearly expressed before the purchase. The other person, who was probably a store manager, just came over trying to pretty much get us out of the store. Everything was done with a very rude, unprofessional and dismissive approach as if we didn't even deserve to be at the store or even ask about the product we bought or the one we wished to exchange it for. They offered us no help whatsoever and treated my husband and I in a very threatening and unfriendly way. I was very upset and crying at the store as I have deadlines to meet. I`m over 8 months pregnant and studying overnight to get my work done. It is now 3am!!! Thankfully, we called AT&T customer service and got part of the problem solved. We`ll never forget this bad experience and will never return to the store. We almost cancelled all the services with have with AT&T and the only thing that kept us with them was the great service we got over the phone. The store staff wasted our very very precious time, if not the whole day, due to lack of training, technological knowledge and customer service skills. The other problem is, due to the holiday, we won`t have our money refunded until next week and won`t be able to purchase the correct tablet anymore. I`m counting on the help of friends to use their internet and not fail my classes. Bottom line is my husband and I both work with Retail Sales and Customer Service and we know exactly how things work. The way the situation was handled was not acceptable at all. BEWARE!!!MANAGER AND SALESMAN RUDE,.DECEATFUL, RIP-OFFS!!!! I've been a customer with At&T for about 15 yrs. and supposedly they tell me, I'm a V.I,P. customer. I went in for an upgrade on 3 lines 4 days before Christmas, if I did it online, I could get this loyalty deal but I wasn't going to receive phones in time for Christmas. The store refuses to honer any loyalty deals. So they had another deal that was close, and it was if I gave them my old phone for $500 credit back on each return, on the upgrade. Salesman (Lance) tells me he has to open temporary ghost lines until phones are activated under upgrade line (this was the first lie)and says there will be an activation fee of $30 per line on upgrade. I then told him I'm not activating new lines I am upgrading and there has never been a charge before, so he replies yes there has always been an activation fee for upgrading and if I had never been charged before one before they must be waving it because of my customer status. He then said it wasn't up to him and he wasn't adding that charge (2nd lie). So I get the phones and a couple of days later I get a bill for $518 and I had 3 new additional lines added to my account with activation charges $30 x 3 . I call at&t loyalty department, get a manager, get activation removed from bill and ask her to fix addition lines , she tells me salesman did upgrade wrong and to take all 3 phones back to store and she would have them fix it and do it correctly. I go back salesman says manager (David) is refusing to work with there own loyalty department and refuses to speak with them or me. She then goes above his head to get him to speck with her, then he tell s her I knew he was opening lines and not upgrading and refuses to make things right.So now the loyalty department, who said they would fix everything says Sorry he was doing it that way save me $ and that they wouldn't be fixing it and making things right after all even though they said salesman did upgrade wrong. Funny how managers and salesmen (Lance) have so many negative comments but still have a job. So if your upgrading folks best to do it on the phone and not in store ,and exspecially the Johnson Ferry Rd. store and you should really shop it against other carriers like Sprint who is now offering me a way, way much better iphone deal with less amount on monthly installment payments for shorter amount of time and same service for $100 cheaper per month, that adds up to a $1200 savings in a year. It's a shame the way at&t treats there loyal customers into leaving them. read more

This store is awful--full of employees who don't want to be there. Not everyone had masks on (or on properly) but worse, they all had bad attitudes. This store is nothing like it used to be. My 91 y.o. dad went in today to ask how to add phone numbers and set an alarm on the phone we bought him there yesterday because the booklet was unclear; they told him they weren't in the business of helping people learn to use the phones they sold. INCREDIBLY bad business as I know my dad and he's the most polite, kind person you'll meet. This store will NEVER get my business again. read more

Three times in the last week I have walked into this store to try and buy a new phone. The first time was at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and there was an hour wait, so I left. The next day I returned at 11 o'clock only to be told that there was a 45 minute wait, so I left again. Today, I got there a few minutes after nine and only waited 15 minutes for someone to assist me. They only have two employees working. Finally, I inquired about buying a new iPhone 11 and the Indian lady who was "assisting me" could provide me with NO information. It was very obvious to me she did not want to be there. She was of no help whatsoever.She had no knowledge of the products in her store, and couldn't care less. It's hard to believe the store is still open with the lousy customer service I received. My god, I go in to get a new prepaid account and felt like Lance could care less as he was busy texting back and forth with his lady friend. Then he tells me he does not sell a lot of prepaid plans, and so what do I care. After an hour of his wasting time not knowing what he was doing I left and went across the street to Version where I was up and running in and out of store in less than 5 minutes. AT&T lost a customer as I was with cricket (which is AT&T) so now they lost my total business rather than moving it from Cricket to AT&T. My review in one sentence: The salesman lied about the contract, I signed it, then when I went back they then refused to change it - FIND ANOTHER AT&T STORE!!! My whole review: This is the first negative review I have ever posted on the internet, not that I have not had my share of bad experiences, but this is the first time that I have not been able to come to some kind of a compromise. This is the story of how my $200 phone will cost me over $500. When the time came that I needed a new phone I went to the AT&T store at 4250 Roswell Rd Marietta, GA 30062, I had done my research and knew I the phone that I wanted. I told the salesman which phone I wanted and he got it from the back, but when I asked to see it in another color he said that "they were out of that color", but when I said that is ok I will go to another store they miraculously had another one in stock (a hint of his character). Things went well, I got my phone after spending about an hour going over the contract details, activating the phone, and switching the numbers over. The salesman said that with my new plan it included several additional services that he assured me were free of charge, but as I quickly found out they were not included and would have cost extra had I not called up AT&T and asked that they remove them, which they did. Today I noticed that there was a financing charge on my bill that I hadn't noticed the previous month, so I went over to the store to ask about it and I found out that I had signed up for the AT&T next plan without my knowledge and that I will end up having to finance the retail price of the phone, not just the $200 as with the plan I had set up for a family member just three months earlier. Needless to say I was upset about this and when the salesman said he couldn't change the plan, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager came over and listened to about half of my story before starting to blankly stare out the window, then he gave me a canned response and said that there was nothing that he could do, I pleaded my case, but I could tell I wasn't going to get anywhere with him. I guess I get to spend tomorrow on the phone with an AT&T representative in the hopes I can get my plan switched to what I thought I was signing up for. Today I walked into this Att store trying to upgrade my iPhone to an iPhone 12... When I came into the store to nobody would help me even though there were several employees and only one other customer. Once I got Someone's attention they acted as if they were bothered by us asking for help. I then asked them about trade in options and the 2 employees I was dealing with didn't know the options. The. I was told to go to the iPhone store as I was better off getting my phone through them. It wasn't a way to treat a long time att customer. I just have to say I feel Att needs to maybe have Larry and others at this store attend customer service training as at this rate they will be losing customers for the lack of customer service. Long story short we did leave and took our business elsewhere.. Losing 4 iPhone purchases have got to hurt business during these ever challenging times. I've been in this store a few times over the years and always had a good experience. I am greeted right away and the associates are knowledgeable and engaged. Today, I went to get a new iPhone. The entire process was quick and all of my questions were answered in a language I could understand. Later that day, I had to return to the store because my phone was malfunctioning. I was told initially that I would have to exchange the phone at an apple store. As I was fretting about when I could actually get to an apple store to exchange my phone, the associate, Asha, told me, as a courtesy, she could give me a new phone right there, right now. I was kind of shocked, because I figured this ordeal was going to be painful and frustrating. I was absolutely ecstatic that she allowed me to switch out my phone there. Truly awful experience - having been a wireless customer for about 12 years, wouldn't address issue with phone. Kept trying to get me to file an insurance claim (again, I've paid for 12 years) when the phone was neither damaged by me or stolen. They wanted me to commit fraud by just saying, "Tell them you lost it - or just smash the phone and send it to them, they will replace it." Totally unethical and unprofessional people here - stay very far away. read more

AWFUL customer service. I recently purchased a new iPhone 6s from this store (#0268) along with a case and a screen protector. Let me also mention that I have spent literally THOUSANDS of dollars at this one location, not including all of the service bills I have paid (I have been with AT&T for 10 years since they were Cingular). The sales associate who was helping me offered to install the screen protector, and assuming that the people who work with phones and accessories all day are knowledgeable, I agreed to let the associate install the screen protector. There were some bubbles left under the screen protector and the associate informed me they would go away within a couple days. Six days later, the bubbles are still there. I take the phone back to the store assuming they would rectify this issue since their representative was the one who installed the screen protector incorrectly. After a rep quickly met with the manager she said the store could not take any action besides suggesting for me to file a claim with the company that makes the screen protector. I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager at store 0268, LOUIS CHARLES LECLERC, acted unprofessionally, disagreeably, and did not seem concerned in customer satisfaction whatsoever. With a condescending demeanor, LECLERC said: "we are not professionals" when it came to installing screen protectors. LECLERC casually dismissed my request for a new screen protector by offering a disclaimer (which was the first time I was hearing said disclaimer) that the store representatives were not liable for improper installation of accessories. LECLERC offered no apology and refused to deal with the problem himself by telling a rep to assist me with my problem. I am hugely disappointed that the manager, LECLERC, did not even slightly attempt to rectify a problem that was created by one of his employees. Furthermore, LECLERC's shrewdness, carelessness, and overall terrible attitude made this a particularly miserable experience. If anything sums up my recent experience at AT&T store #0268, it would be the manager's (LOUIS CHARLES LECLERC) statement: "we are not professionals." read more

Worst customer service. Avoid this store at all cost. My husband purchased a case for his IPhone. I found the same item on sale online on the A T & T website. When my husband was in the store he mentioned that it was on sale but they denied it. I called and spoke to a representative and was told if we brought the case and receipt back they would give us credit on our American Express. Once we got there they refused to give us credit on the American Express. They said they would give us credit on our phone bill. They gave us no documentation. I didn't trust them. They had already lied to us two times. So, we returned the case. The rep that told us she would not give us a credit on our American Express didn't bother to get up out of her seat to do it. She was too busy chit chatting with other reps. She had another rep to come over and complete the transaction. So rude! I have ordered another case from the A T & T store online and I will pick it up at another A T & T retail store today. What a hassle! Obviously, this store places no importance on customer service. Previously, I purchased my IPhone 6 at this store. I will never go there again!!! read more
