At least one of the people who work at this location will out and out lie to your face about what your bill amount will be (not even in the same ballpark) and that you MUST sign up for insurance (you don't.) With all the craziness this past Saturday, I forgot to check in, when I walked into the AT&T store. I also forgot all my passwords, so I couldn't check in when I left. My experience was great. I walked in and was quickly greeted by 2 men behind the sales counter. Anthony was the associate that I ended up with. Anthony was super friendly and patient. Ladies, he's adorable, but taken. He helped me pick out my new phone and recommended a plan that worked for me. We chitchatted while the phone was switched over. It was done before I knew it! I was in and out in 30 minutes. I have had a billing problem with AT&T since they combined with Direct TV . I went to the branch and spoke with the manager . He told me he needed to contact someone else to see if he could fix my problem . The branch has yet to contact me back. Yet are always EAGER to sell me new products . As a side not a attractive female friend of mine visits the branch all the time and seems to get all types of discounted incentives. Yet I cant even get a call back saying "we cant fix the problem" . Perhaps I should send her down with my bill. read more

On the instructions of tech support of ATT, I went to to the ATT store, Main Street, Middletown, CT to replace my brand new iPhone 8 which malfunctioned after the presidential alert and tech support could not repair. Flynn, the manager, refused to replace the phone saying they don't do warranty replacements. Don't bother going here. Staff unhelpful and unsympathic. read more

I do not recommend this store to anyone. I was signed up for a ATT/ Directtv deal that i did not even qualify for, and did not find out until four months later when I did not receive the credit for my phone. My whole situation was explained clearly to the representative at the store, but obviously they rather make a sale then be a ethically responsible business. After a long run around with ATT, leaving my contact information at the store for management contact ( THAT NEVER HAPPENED), and numerous escalations through customer service i am now left with not only a plan that I would have not signed up for, but a two year contract with directtv that I only purchased to receive the new phone for free. I have been a loyal customer with ATT since the merge with Cingular, which means along time. This is either a lack of training of customer service representatives or unethical business practices that have made me want to turn my back on the one mobile company that I once thought was the best. read more

Terrible store. Sales people will straight up lie about the total price of your monthly bill, which is what their manager trains them to do. Not only that, but if you bother to come back and try to solve whatever issue you're having, they will refuse to help you, even going as far as attempting to physically intimidate you into leaving (which was kinda funny considering how short the salesman attempting this was). Seriously, this location should be shut down or at the very least put under new management. read more

My wife and I walked in on Saturday a half hour before they closed. We were greeted by Kris and Tony. They were fantastic! Had us out the door in 40 minutes with matching Iphone6s+ with our upgrade and promotion. Wonderful service so happy with my experience there! These guys really know what they're doing! I don't recommend this location to anyone. We had an appointment but they didn't get to us until 20 minutes after our time (I normally wouldn't care all that much but my grandmother had a doctor appointment to get to). I finally got a hold of the manager who was just aimlessly walking around or doing whatever in the back room, and he just rushed through our questions. There were also other customers who had been there longer, but the manager kept helping people who were just walking in. You're probably better off just calling. read more

I've only had really good customer service at this store. First one of the managers helped us get new CT numbers when we moved here - it took several tries because of all the times we'd moved and whatnot. He was super helpful and got all the extra fees waived for us. Then, we switched away from AT&T and had to switch back due to bad service in our new house, and again all of our moves screwed everything up. It took several trips and TONS of time from Dan to finally get ported over and update my husband's phone, but Dan stuck with us and helped the entire time. He made special appointments so that we could get fast service and found a way to get a several discounts on my husband's new phone. He even texted with me over the course of an afternoon/evening to make sure I could just run in and out for the last visit. He is awesome and I'll go to him first if we have any more problems. Worst location I've ever been to. Their standard greeting is an eye roll/long sigh combo. They do whatever they can to tell you what services they do NOT offer in the store. They WILL however print you handy instructions after you say you're not tech savvy and need help. Truth be told I have a disability and I needed help doing something so simple as transferring contacts from one phone to a new one, but don't like to talk about it, got frustrated and just left after accepting that there was no help to be found here. It's sad when a 30 year old has to say "customer service just ain't what it used to be". Never going back and will tell as many people as possible to avoid at all cost. So so bad. read more

Worst experience ever. Told them as soon as I entered store that it was time for my upgrade and I wanted to keep my plan and type of iphone. After waiting for 10 minutes in the queue and then 20 minutes of being told how I really should enroll in their new plan, they then told me they didn't have any of the iphones (I'm not picky-don't care about color). How does a phone store not have phones? I went to Wal mart and got the same phone for 1/3 what AT&T store were going to charge me if they actually had it in stock. The guy "helping" me at the Middletown branch was rude and I'm pretty sure they would've produced the phone I wanted if I had switched over to the new plan they were trying to bully me into. Matter of fact service. Associate did not appear to care much about helping with our phone needs/questions. They do not carry all the phones that they support. No option to buy some of the phones outright but to buy on a monthly payment plan with no interest. Overall, a very disappointing visit. We went on a Friday week night. We were the only customers. After our visit, we understood why. Won't be going back and we don't recommend. read more

Horrible customer service. Given inaccurate information and when I called to question the information I was given, the associate who provided the incorrect information responded with "yup", "yup" and not once took responsibility for being wrong. The manager wasn't any better. After being a customer for over 10 years, you would think perhaps you'd receive a certain level of customer service. Don't waste your time with this place go somewhere else. And if you do go here, don't rely on the information you're given, it's mostly likely inaccurate. read more

att is the worsh phone service in the counrty. yes there is a variety of phones to choose from but the service, meaning TALKING TO SOMEONE IS TERRIBLE. This store is always crowed and rushed. The salespeople refer to one guy when a technical question is asked. read more
