I'm on the edge about this location, I have been treated many different ways here at this location. I've been treated poorly and great, the majority of the time I've been treated poorly. Must be because the employees here make commission. When I go to check out prices the employees seem to be bothered and try to get you to buy, if they see no interest in you they'll pay no further attention, and the friendliness disappears. But if you go in determined to buy they all of sudden treat you like a king. Therefore go else where if you have questions about services and products I recommend best buy mobile in the mall. But I do recommend AT&T over sprint, and TMobile, I'm yet to try Verizon... But AT&T service has yet to disappoint me. read more

Customer service, customer service, customer service. I never wanted to walk out of a place faster than I walked in. The rep could not even transfer the contacts. To me, he lacked product knowledge and really should not be helping others until properly trained. After I paid cash for the phone, he asked if I would like to add accessories and even forgets to give me my change back. Will not be going to this store for anything at all. BEWARE! Read your contract very carefully. The sales people at this location are very shady and will not tell you what is on your bill and when you receive your bill, charges appear. I talked with the manager, Matthew, and he is very rude and not helpful at all. If you have to be stuck with AT&T, do not go to the one on Sisk road in Modesto, Ca. Customer service is horrible. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I have no problems with ATT, been with them over 8 years, but the customer service in this store on Sisk is horrendous. I blame management for the employees' attitudes, you can just sense their unhappiness as a general feeling in the store. I come here out of convenience, it's the closest store to Ripon, but after the last 3 experiences-two of which were to BUY a phone and extend my contract on those lines (no issues, a straight purchase)- one to pick up and unprogrammed SIM card, I will NEVER go back to this store. I have driven to Briggsmore/Mchenry ever since or Ceres. Not a fan of going to Ceres in general, but their mgmt is doing something right and I'll gladly drive the extra miles to avoid Sisk Rd. I've seen their mgr (blondish prego at the time) be a total snatch and it reflects in the rest the staff. Sorry for the rambling, I just can NOT stand this place and was willing to let it go after my second experience where I witnessed the horrible mgr, but when they can't even handle a SIM request promptly, that's just ridiculous. I went into this store because I was told that I could sell my iphone 4 for $200 and use that money to buy a new phone. When I walked into the store they checked out my phone and said they would buy it back and they also had the phone I wanted! I wasn't able to buy it that day because I'm on my dad's plan and he needed to be there to sign a new contract. Fast forward two days I came back with my dad to sell my iphone and to buy the new phone, but this time they said they wouldn't buy it back because my iphone had "water damage" and that the negative inversion effect I have on the phone is proof that there's water damage because there's no setting for that on the phone. When I tried to explain that I literally came in two days before and got the ok for the buy back they said there was nothing they could do, and couldn't give me any money for it. I left with my "suddenly water damaged phone," back at home very confused on how my phone could be worth nothing because of the negative inversion effect. I looked up how to turn off the negative inversion effect on the Apple website and easily turned it off. All in all I feel like the people that were trying to "help," were either too lazy to figure out how my phone was all of a sudden damaged, or they were trying to rip me off so I would pay full price for the phone I wanted. I've been going to that store since 2009 and that was the worst customer service I've ever received from AT&T!!!! read more

Beware! I purchased a phone and holder there. The holder was represented to have a lifetime warranty there at the store, they kept my information in the file, if I ever needed a new one I could come get it. Well, guess what. It broke and I tried to get a new one and nope, the warranty is 1 year in the store and from then on I'm on my own. Do not trust what they tell you. The manager, Alex was quite indifferent to my situation and complain. I'll not go there again and warn you to try somewhere else also. read more

Had a great experience, was switching ownership on bills. Was in store wiring with Justin and called Uverse while there, originally wanted to keep Uverse as I had many recorded items for my grandkids, asked them repeatedly not to do anything to my phones until they were separated. Uverse on the phone rep combined and froze my account two day later making it unmanageable for two months!!! Went back to the store talked with the same In store rep Justin who then worked on getting thing undone it took him three days to get it right with the Uverse people! I went to direct TV instead and have a far better deal. I am so impressed with the extra 20 miles Justin went for me. Thank you for having such a responsible employee ATT. read more

I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had at this store!!! We were hear a long time trying to make decisions to get our daughter a new phone and with them being expensive it was hard but he helped us a lot. I can't thank him for the wonderful service and getting to know are family as we spent an hour with him with all the upgrades and transfers. Tried to fix a screw up that the mall store started but the " Corporate " store was of no help. The Los Banoc store saved the day!

Was disappointed last night when we went in and didn't get any help. Decided to try again this morning. We were just looking to see what our upgrade options were. Had tremendous help from Carlos! He was super patient while we were juggling our 2 kids while doing the upgrade. Some how we even left with an iPad mini... not sure how that happened, but couldn't be happier with how he treated us. I hope he stays at this location so we can go to him with any questions or service needs we have. read more

Went to this store and was very disappointed with the customer service. I waited around 20 minutes for someone to help me and finally one of the managers named Tony went and greeted us. I told him I was in for 2 things. One was to make a payment for my phone bill and the second was to get information on getting internet service for my home. He gave me the prices which were double than what I pay now so I told him that for now I would stay with what I have but I still wanted to make my phone payment. He then pointed at the payment kiosk and said rudely go do your payment over there. I guess since I didn't get internet he didn't want to help me anymore he used the excuse that he didn't have a register and it's weird because I've made payments with someone there before in the same location. I usually wait for someone because I pay cash and the kiosk doesn't give change and felt like he just brushed me away. Horrible service from a manager I can only imagine how the other workers are with him as a manager. read more

I went into the ATT Manteca store on Tuesday, November 30th. I bought 2 brand new Iphone 4s. Javier was nice, he did not explain any of the new features or anything, but I also never asked. My problem came from when I got home, I quickly found one of the phones had a defective speaker and it was very scratchy sounding. I went back into the ATT store, not even 18 hours later to have the phone replaced. I was instructed by Javier that they do not do any exchanges, and I would have to go down to the Apple store, about 30 minutes away from my house. I asked to speak to a manager and a girl named chelsy came out. Chelsy explained the same thing Javier did, that they would not touch my phone now, and she stated it was Apple's policy that AT&T does not take any refunds. I told Javier and his assistant manager chelsy that I have already talked to Apple, and they told me I would be receiving a used, reconditioned phone. That was a problem for me as I had just paid for a brand new phone. I also told chelsy that was not Apple's policy, and she was making that up. She continued to refuse to exchange the phone. She said "Tell Apple you want a new one." She was very rude. I went down to the Apple store, where they confirmed that they could only exchange the phone for a reconditioned one. He also stated AT&T is required by state law to exchange the phone if it is defective. He instructed me to go to the Modesto ATT store, off of Sisk road, where the customer service is better. I went to the Modesto Store, where I explained my problem, and the nice gentleman named Mark, who apologized for the inconvenience, and quickly retrieved his manager, Alex. Alex was also very apologetic and said of course we will replace your phone. They were 100% helpful and even offered a credit on my account for 20$. I walked out with my now working phone, and went back to the ATT store in Manteca where I again spoke to chelsy, and explained the customer service in the Manteca store is horrible. I asked her why she sent me down to Modesto, wasting my gas and time, for no reason. I also asked how she intended to make this right, and that I would be filing a formal complaint on her for her service. She told me go right ahead and file a complaint. I walked out of the store on December 1st, completed dissatisfied, and I will never go into that store again. I will gladly drive the extra 25 minutes to the Modesto ATT store, where the customer service is phenomenal. read more
