This is this place is like a pack of sardines when you walk in there they have more customers than they have workers then you have to have an appointment when you walk in there after you've paid over $1000 for service and you need some money just to answer a question for you. They're gonna put you on a stool at a certain table. They got type in everything that you did give you an appointment as two hours out which no you don't have a life to live or something else to do. They take the risk on them trying to fix it and diagnose it and if they can't, you have to wait for another phone anyway my microphone wasn't working on my phone for a whole day so I had to wait for them to see me on a Monday afternoon once I got off work I got there at one. My appointment was at five after 43 hours later. Meanwhile, I walked the mall until I could get a text to tell me to come up and get seen which I never received I walked into the store on my own downloaded the update with somebody could've just told me to do that from the jump and I fixed it myself thanks Apple take a bite out of crime and a waste of my time. read more

Visited the Apple Store at Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto on Sunday with an issue with my phone. It was the holiday rush, so they asked me to come back first thing Monday morning which was fine since they had my parts ready to go. I got there at 10 AM, left my phone, and picked it up at 11:45 AM. Overall, my experience was great! The staff was professional and helpful. I didn't get the African American male supervisor's name, but he was awesome! He made sure I was taken care of and checked in with me throughout the process. Great attitude, and I'm thankful they have someone like him at that store. Security presence was visible, which was nice to see. The store was clean, and restroom accessibility was great--nice not having to walk all the way inside the mall. Make sure y'all have AppleCare! Saved me a lot of money. Thank you! I came here yesterday and purchased an IPhone 16 with trade in value. I got my phone activated by Randy and he "helped" me transfer my number onto the new phone. Randy continue this process until he realized he switched over another number that wasn't mine and soon after I was pushed to the side and had to wait 2 to 3 hours BEFORE our issue was " solved ". We went home and had to pay out of pocket to ACTUALLY fix the issue that was caused by Randy and others who helped around. This was the worst Apple Store I've been to. Waited for over 3 hours for zero help. Matter of fact - they made things even worse. I got there at 3:06pm. I was put on the waitlist for 5:05pm. I checked in at 5:00pm and they said that they're backed up and I will not be able to been seen until later. I did not get seen until 5:45pm. I came in to erase and reset my old iPhone X and to give to my daughter. I also wanted to transfer her things from her current phone 8 to the iPhone X. While Blake was helping me reset my old iPhone X, we erased and factory set the iPhone 8. He did not warned me that there's not a chance that we can transfer reset the iPhone X, because I would've never factory reset and erase my daughter's current phone. My daughter's iphone 8 was wiped clean and my iPhone X was unable to reset and activate. Horrible experience. I went in, ready to purchase a new computer. I spent 10 minutes at the table with the laptops, waiting for someone to help me. After 15 minutes, I finally asked an employee if someone could help me with a laptop. She said "I'm not working on that area, you need to talk to that guy" and pointed out another employee. That employee was working with someone else, so I continued to wait. That guy looked right at me when he was done with the customer he was dealing with and then turned around to greet someone who just walked in the store. So, I waited longer. They finished with that person, looked at me again, and immediately turned away and greeted yet another person that had just walked it. After 25 minute of ZERO EMPLOYEES ACKNOWLEDGING MY PRESENCE. I walked out. I was literally there to buy a computer, but now apparently I'll just order online because the staff at that store has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And the thing that frustrates me the most, store management likely won't care one bit about this 1-star review. read more

Everyone I spoke with today was very helpful and informative from the moment I walked in. They've got a great team there, eager to help and offer solutions quickly. Unfortunately they couldn't fix my problem, but it was out of their control (Verizon towers were down so my phone was in SOS mode all day). 1 Star Review I've had one of the most frustrating customer service experiences at the Apple Store in Vintage Fair Mall. I visited twice due to ongoing issues with my iPhone (call failures, undelivered texts, and connectivity problems). Despite wiping my phone and losing all my data (apps, photos, passwords), the problem persisted. Rafi, one of the associates, was kind and tried to help -- no complaints there. However, my second visit was a different story. I waited past my appointment time, was told my phone would be taken for 5 minutes, only for it to disappear for 20. Then, I was informed it would need to be "checked in" for 90 minutes. When I asked to speak to a manager, Blake came out and instantly dismissed my concerns -- even though I had taken screenshots of the issue. He refused to acknowledge them as valid proof and insisted on seeing the issue happen live in-store, which was unrealistic. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. The initial associate didn't even bother to explain my situation to him before escalating. Thankfully, I did receive a respectful call later from a manager named Padrrana who explained things more clearly and treated me with professionalism. But overall, the lack of communication, accountability, and empathy in-store made this a terrible experience. Customers deserve to be heard especially when they've taken time to document issues and follow all troubleshooting steps. I expected better from Apple. read more

As they checked my phone Ro told me all about the 16 Pro, he showed me all the options available. He was so patient and helpful and guided me through the new phones. Equally as busy as every other store we walked into... the Apple store was a happening place. They have a check in system and a representative will come find you to assist when your turn in line comes up. The check in was a little confusing because there was no clear signage or lines. Everyone around us seemed a bit confused. Once checked in we only waiting 3-5 minutes before a rep found us and helped us out. He spent plenty of time answering our questions and trying to provide a good level of customer service. Overall we were pretty happy with our experience - I ended up walking away without a new device (or preorder of one) but consumed all the information I needed to help make my next phone move. I brought my mother's iPad in for fixing, it was only a few weeks old and under Apple Care so I thought it would be an easy transaction. I was startled to find it could not just be replaced and it had to go out for fixing. We were told 3-5 days. Then I got a message from their service support saying that the fix was on a hold because they needed more information, I called the store and asked what info they needed. I was transferred to a person who told me they did not know what that message meant. Okay... Called customer service they then contacted the store and they said it was just an automated response everyone got. Okay why didn't they tell me that when I called? Then got a message that there was damage not covered by the warranty or Apple Care. Okay. I accepted that I would pay for the repair in store. Then it errored out and said "We're Sorry". So I called the store to get them to tell the repair center I approved the fix. He asked me to do the same on a computer, it would not even show me the details on the repair. But they cannot do move it forward, have no idea why. They have to bring it back to the store, see if they can fix it. But if they cannot they have to send it out again under Apple Care. Now the time table is "whenever". My mom uses her iPad as she goes through cancer treatment, it is a way to distance herself from what is happening to her. I cannot believe that this level of incompetence is not intentional. I mean a multi national corner stone on technology cannot get a simple fix done? read more

The only positive about our experience is that the wait time was under 15 minutes. However, we keep getting told the same thing before staff would even add us to the wait list. To "check our problem for ourselves" on the computers in store... obviously we're visiting the store because we already walked through all those steps online from our own device. So that was a time waster. We kept getting passed off to different people helping us since no one had the knowledge to help. I have also brought those said purchases to get a occasional screen fixed or small issues looked at and they have always exceeded my expectations. After 3 more hours and tons of hoops we still are waiting . It's now 6:17 pm! We are told there's no way of knowing when the order will be processed! This is just insanely poor service by Apple! I've come here multiple times, to both purchase devices and to get devices repaired. This place is a hit or miss. One day I made an appointment and still had to wait over an hour! The store wasn't even packed. I would suggest avoiding this place, it's much easier to call customer support and have a replacement device shipped or to just purchase online. This is long overdue as I got my new Apple 13 phone in February. I am new to Apple products completely. I needed help setting up my Apple phone and getting accessories for it. Having to make an appointment to purchase a phone is a New concept to me, but I went to the store made my appointment killed a little bit of time then headed back... I was helped by very friendly people who seem knowledgeable on the product. I must say I'm a little shocked that it didn't come with basic things like a charger, but I suppose that's the Apple way. I did get a phone cover a charger and a car charger as well. Overall I'm very satisfied and they seemed helpful if I had any questions. They also installed my screen protector for me which saved me a lot of effort. Am I determined I'll be at Apple user forever? I don't know about that. I went in yesterday to get my back glass fixed, they told me turn off find my iPhone, tuned off phone and asked me to be back in an hour. I get there and I'm so excited for my fixed phone, only to find out I now have no cellular service because everything but the front screen was replaced... so they call Verizon and the guy is like " we close in like 30, and we won't be able to do anything if we don't get through" I'm thinking this has to be a joke, this other woman comes and said "did they not tell you you'd have to restore your phone service?" I'm like "no if that had been the case I would've come during the week as I need my phone for work at 7am." So it's 5 minutes until 7pm (when they close) and he couldn't get through with Verizon because he said they kept hanging up on him. At this point he wishes me the best of luck but they are closing and can't help me. They legit sent me home with no phone line a cosmetically perfect iPhone 14 pro max, but they're the ones who messed up my line. I'm furious... I'm thinking of all the things I can do on my end to get access into my line and phone, (it was stuck on sign in to Apple ID for about 2 hours because I don't have access to my number for 2 factor authentication I had to hunt for my watch and charge it and pray it was still connected to my number) so I end up being able to login, meanwhile I'm calling Verizon at home and chatting with a live agent on my husbands phone and they're trying to reset my eSIM which was unsuccessful. It's been 4 hours and I'm beat, my husbands beat, and it's a nightmare. Eventually, the agent for Verizon says "oh goodness" after he realizes we've done all we could to change, edit, or reset the eSIM we kept getting this message that read: Bring phone near to transfer number. The problem is this is the same phone they fixed I didn't get a new device so how could I possibly do that? The agent says I have to come into a store and get a new phone because this one is messed up. It is 6:48am and I have work at 7. Verizon opens at 9am and Apple at 10am. I'm sorry for the rant, but these people are supposed to be technicians and tech savvy in their departments, and they ruined my phone. They need to fix this because it is wrong on so many levels. My phone is stuck in SOS mode and I have no access to my phone line. So, moral of the story, Apple sucks, their customer service sucks, and their techs absolutely suck. They were better off replacing the phones entirely for cracked screen/glass rather than this travesty.
