In May, I became an At&t member and signed up for a new cell phone plan with Jamie in store. Upon signing up, Jamie stated that if I purchased a new phone, I would receive a Visa Gift Card which was one of the driving factors for me to join. Jamie assured me that I would receive an email within the next month or upcoming billing cycles asking me to activate and confirm my reward. (On a separate note, while working with Jamie, another customer came up to me and stated Jamie had taken a picture of me. While I cannot confirm this happened and did not confront Jamie about it, still strange eh?) In July, I came into the store again and spoke with Jamie stating I had not received any emails regarding the visa gift card reward. Jamie stated to wait until another bill cycle passed and that if I did not hear anything by then, to come back into the store and that the incident would be escalated. At the end of July, I came into the store again and spoke with Samantha. Samantha had suggested via text message that I contact the sales promotions team. The sales promotion team stated they could not help me as more than 60 days had passed and I was no longer eligible for promotions. Samantha stated that the Assistant Store Manager John Aaron, would follow up with me. Nope, kiddos, he did not. Oh yeah and Samantha, she ghosted me via text as well. In August, I went into the store again and talked with John (not the assistant store manager) and Jamie. John told me that he would have to forward the information to the Assistant Store Manager, John Aaron to resolve this matter and that John would follow up. I also sent an email to John. John didn't respond, shocking I know. In September, I finally had to contact the corporate office because this team simply ignored me and dismissed me. Stay away from this place like the plague. I have never experienced worse customer service from a manager than I did with Stan. He was shockingly unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help resolve an issue that originated from his store. Last month, a store representative helped us upgrade our phones. She appeared to be new and unsure of the process. She never informed us how to return our trade-in devices and told us we'd receive an email with instructions--which never came. We also never received a return box or shipping label. When we returned to the store to resolve the issue, we were told we had to call the loyalty department because it was now past the 30-day return window which we were never made aware of. After 20 minutes on the phone, the rep said the store needed to note the account because the error was made there. Stan, who was sitting at an empty table the entire time, did nothing. Even after my wife specifically asked to speak with a manager, he refused to help. When he was finally asked again to assist, he rolled his eyes, crossed his arms, and flat-out said he would not note the account or accept the trade-ins--even though the mistake originated with his staff. He was extremely rude and even told my wife, "You should've known better," referencing her previous work with Verizon. For context, she worked on government and corporate accounts--not retail--and every trade-in we've done before came with a return box and label automatically. To make matters worse, the original rep added several services to our new plan that we never approved, increasing our monthly bill without consent. Due to the complete lack of accountability from Stan and his poorly trained team, we are now out $1,800. We will be terminating our contracts and going back to Verizon, where we were treated with professionalism and respect. read more

This location is perfectly situated in the shopping center right at the entrance. We were greeted by Mark and he assisted me with my new phone. The store is well lit - lots of new devices - and they are preparing for their Black Friday Sales!! Very airy feeling - the employees had a great sense of humor. Very cute seating area with a huge TV screen and surround sound. Mark assisted me and continued to check on my phone while it was transferring data. Update 7/18/2020. You're in good hands here. I was "playing with my phone security last night after having had too much to drink. Yikes. Please. Don't do what I did. Ultimately it's fixed and Jessica & Madeleine have saved my hundreds of dollars. Awesome service. 8 stars out of 5. Thank you so much ladies!!! I broke my watch. Kristine helped me this morning and she is awesome!! She was able to determine wonderful news that I actually had insurance on my watch and that the cost of replacing it is 1/3 (approximately) of what it would be if I hadn't gotten insurance. Also, the insurance plan covers every single device we own (10)!!! I could not be more delighted. This has been an experience in keeping with all of my recipes experiences at this store, both old and new. BTW, if you haven't been to the new store you really ought to check it out. Why am I still with ATT?? Right now a rep is telling his customer all about his new house and his commute, very personal chit chat. Just get on with it and help us. No one is happy waiting this long. Broke my phone the other night and it won't work ever again so I needed the SIM card switched to my old broke phone that at least works. I can't see half the screen for the cracks but it works. Lol So after Google maps drive me around the traffic circle a few times I finally figured out how to get to the store. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice women who listened to what happened and switched the SIM cards right away for free! She then advised me about CPR (cell phone repair) that might be able to fix my phone and gave me a $10 off coupon. Slowest place on planet earth. Employees have no sense of urgency, they just sit around and look at each other, they try and take 45 minutes to upsell people when there are customers waiting in line. Made an appointment showed up an hour early and still waited an hour and a half got no service and left after the manager was rude and threw me out. Stan the hairy manager is useless. If you have LOTS, and I mean LOTS of time to waste, stop in the store across from Town Center. I went in to get quotes on getting service at my home and received FOUR different quotes on four occasions for the SAME SERVICE. WHAT I WAS ULTIMATELY CHARGED MATCHED NONE OF THEM! Also told a veteran's discount was offered plus a no contract offer, both of which proved to be untrue. Addendum: Beware of the Visa card offer. Good luck in receiving one of ANY amount (the "offer" varies greatly). So far I'm batting zero after multiple promises. Addendum: I received a request to return a call from "Stan." I love AT&T, my phones, my tv, my internet and house phone are all At&t and I've always been happy with their customer service. And then I had to stop in there the other day for a problem on my phone. My battery has been giving me trouble. The gentleman's solution was to pay off the phone ($300) and buy a new phone (comparable phone would be $700 or so). So I repeated to him "My phone is 12 1/2 months old, and you can sell me a new one for around $700, after I pay this one off?" He smiles and says yes! I just shook my head - The gentleman proceeds to try to sell me a direct tv package!! Remember the days when you could walk in there with a problem and they were able to help you out? I spent nearly an hour on the phone with customer service to set up new service. I have been an AT&T customer for 40 years and just moved to Mt. Pleasant. Even though AT&T has data records of my credit and good history as a customer (seeing as I just disconnected service with them at my old residence), they wanted me to do a 3-way call with Transunion and unfreeze my credit score for them to verify my history. Whaaat??? This is insanity. 50 minutes into the call, I hung up and called Xfinity. No credit pull and had new service within 10 minutes. Easy peasy. This place has the worst customer service ever!! I showed up one day during this COVID shit and they were sitting and doing business outside. I think the girl that I talked to saw my Trump sticker on my truck and she was very rude and arrogant to me. She didn't want to help me. I asked about an insurance claim and all she would say is "we don't do that" she was a bitch!! They are all to eager to sell you insurance or any product for that matter but once you've bought it they "can't help". Do not support this store or ATT. read more

Literally terrible. Took 5 days to get my install done after 10+ calls. After that it still didn't work. The people aren't the problem. Every employee I worked with did their best to help and were very nice. It's the system as a whole. They couldn't communicate or get accurate information due to poor process and resources given my management. No one (at least over age 65) looks forward to a day at AT&T. It's always a bit confusing and expensive. But yesterday I needed a new M-cell and a new phone. A really nice young man, Billy Fitzgerald, was sooo nice to me. He helped me with the m-cell and tried to save me from having to get a new one. He explained the phones to me and we selected a very cool phone with cool case. And I even left with a tablet which I've been coveting, but was too timid to actually try. I wanted to upgrade 2 phones for Christmas gifts. Called the local store and could not get through - was routed to customer service (call center). Was told we were VIP customers and could get a better deal in the store. Made an appointment for 9:00. Upon arrival there was only 1 employee working and assisting another customer. I asked him if a particular employee that I have worked with in the past was still there as I preferred to work with him. This past employee was excellent to work with in my opinion. Current employee told me no they had let him go. VERY unprofessional! Should have just said he no longer worked there. I finally received "help" at 9:30 and was out the door by 9:40. Girl who helped me on 12-14-19 at 9:30 am was extremely rude. Seems AT&T will extend offers to new customers but doesn't care to help the long term, good standing customers of 20 years. Went to the AT&T store in Mt. Pleasant (Towne Center) today. After upgrading my daughters phone back in September; we were told we would receive a $100 gift card in the mail, within 4-6 weeks. We never received this card. therefore I contacted AT&T and was told this was a promotion through their store. I tried several times over the months to stop in at the store, but the wait was 30-40 minutes.....I was unable to wait that long as I was in between appointments. Today my daughter was able to sit and wait for help. We were told there is no such promotion and they have never heard of such a thing.....how can this be. We were both there and clearly heard that a gift card would arrive. I believe they will tell you anything to have you upgrade, and hope you will not remember the conversation.
