Verizon Wireless moved from its cramped storefront in the Mount Pleasant Town Center, to a large, spacious location on Johnny Dodds, just up the road, next to Ethan Allen. (If you find yourself at the IOP Connector, you went too far.) A team member checked me in as soon as we walked in the door. The new facility was bright, spacious and designed for customers' ease of movement among product categories and each manufacturer's models within a product line. Within 5 minutes, Katie approached us and wrote a written assessed my iphone5 to assure its 'good' condition. And, with this piece of paper, I qualified to trade-in my 2 year old iPhone 5 and take advantage of the iphone 6 promotion ... purchase an iphone 6, priced at $199 with a 2 yr contract and receive a rebate of $199. It seemed straight forward ... my out-of-pocket cost would be $0.00 (plus the standard upgrade and associated taxes and fees), You're right ... It was too good to be true.... I was approaching s perfect storm: 1) the promotion ends September 30 2) the rebate was actually in the form of a Verizon gift card 3) the new iPhones were sold out ... a phone, ordered today, would not arrive until Halloween .... making it logistically impossible to complete an in-store trade by Sept 30 in the manner I intended (which was to put the purchase on my Verizon account then immediately apply the rebate to the account to defray the cost). Katie further explained that since the phone would be s back order: 1) the entire purchase would have to go on a credit card (not my Verizon account). 2) I would receive another package from with mailing instructions for returning the old phone to Verizon. 3) Verizon would mail out the rebate card after the package was received and processed at the trade-in center. 4) Then, with card in hand, I could stop in at the Verizon store and apply the card amount to a current Verizon bill. Bottom line, the total amount for a phone purchased today would show up on my Visa bill in November and it probably would be January before I received and applied the rebate card from this September promotion to my Verizon account. Katie was poised, courteous and professional; her approach and manner did not falter after my husband decided he would wait to upgrade his iphone 5 when the iphone 7 is released next Fall. We 'did not shoot the messenger' and Katie did get my sale. Since I was not leaving the store with my new phone, today, i actually purchased and back ordered the iPhone 6s for an additional $100. The staff here are not honest. Two times ago they told me I didn't have to trade my phone for the new phone deal and after I did it Verizon started charging me because we were supposed to do the trade-in. just now I went there because I was emailed an offer that I was interested in taking. When I got there they acted like the offer didn't exist even though they reviewed the email and couldn't refute anything it said. when I asked to speak to the manager to try and resolve the issue, I was lied to and told that they do not have a manager. read more

I worked with Jonathan at this Verizon store and it was the easiest and best experience I have ever had when doing things to my phone line. I had a few lines and was trying to get a new phone for my daughter, so pretty complex, and he was able to navigate with patience and ease. He is such a pleasant person and even stayed late one night so that we could get everything figured out. His follow-through the next day was amazing and concise. I came in this store SO upset because my husband dropped his phone into Shem Creek and we didn't have insurance on it (so we had to pay for another one outright). Money is so tight right now so we were not expecting to have another expense like this, which only made me more upset. He not only didn't match my energy, but he helped turn everything around for us. He was kind, patient, transparent, and everything you look/hope for in someone in sales. All I can say is he deserved to be rude right back to me, and certainly not forgive me for my attitude, but he stayed true to his integrity and character and was the most graceful man ever. We called Verizon Wireless to find out our service set up was incorrect, our bill WAY different that what we had set up, and our property (in previous phones) in the end stolen! I recently had to make an emergency trip to the Verizon store on Johnnie Dodds Blvd. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Brian Delfino who takes the word "service level" to a new high. My wait time was less than one minute. Brian was knowledgeable, thoughtful and very helpful. Brian reviewed my phone options and accessories in great detail. In addition, after the purchase, Brian spent as much time as needed to set up the new mobile phone. I highly recommend using this Verizon store and their staff. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is because I had to wait about 15 minutes before someone could get to me. They were very busy and all 5-6 sales people were with customers. I did not come in expecting to have to buy a new phone, but that's what happened. Paul helped me out and was honest and up-front with everything from the get-go. This is a good store. There is an official Verizon store right across the street from my house, but I come to this place because I have had better experiences here. They have many salesman and all the ones that I have worked with have been very helpful and informative. I signed up with Verizon at this Store, and the salesman i had used very sly tactics to sign me up for things that I thought didn't have a catch, but they did and now im stuck with it. He was a great salesman, but I wish he had been a little more straightforward with me rather than trying to trick me into something. I don't believe he works there anymore, and I still consider him a great guy. So just watch out for those tactics. I very recently got my iPhone X here, which they had in stock, and I was in an out with my new phone in 20 minutes. read more

This evening, I went to this Verizon Store and had the pleasure of interacting with Nick Stevens. Nick helped my wife get a new iPhone, get it all set up and taken care of. Nick was very patient, not pushy, and explained​ things in such a way that we walked away comfortable and knowing that we weren't taken advantage of. His expertise with each phone, its features, and what it has to offer was very impressive, but Nick also made practical sense of each phone as well-- what matters and what doesn't. Nick's customer service was outstanding and I would definitely go out of my way to work with him in the future​. My husband and I visited the local Verizon store a week ago. The manager approached a newly trained sales person who was helping us with our inquiries to change over from T Mobile. When he saw we had older I phone 5, he went into a dramatic loud laughing attack, telling us how our phones will not work in the months ahead. Quite embarrassing for us...He also stated we missed the sale and there was nothing he could do for us to change over our (4) lines under any current promotion and we were basically, "screwed." I was shocked at his unprofessional demeanor not only in front of a new employee but also with a potential client. Needless to say we left the store... This week, we opted to try another store and went into Cellular Sales Verizon at 905 Johnnie Dodds Bld, MT Pleasant. We were greeted by Nick Stevens. We told him we were curious about their current promotions and if he could do anything for us with (4) lines from a competitor. Our needs encompassed my 85 year old mother, my son who is at college out of state, and ourselves. He asked us various questions so that he could offer us the best deal as well as the best plan to fit our needs. He estimated what the payments would be and what we would need to do. We left the store to review the options. We called Nick the next day and told him we were good to go...what phones we wanted for each line and that we just needed to gather all the phones and come back to the store. Nick offered to get as much ready as possible prior to our visit...He is truly amazing. Patient, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, smart and diligent. When we got back to the store, everything was as ready for us as ready could be with exception to transferring pics, contacts and such...which he began immediately...Once I saw all the phones I changed my mind from the 8 to the 8 plus....MY BAD...Nick made every accommodation for us to ensure I was happy...again my bad...but he was great!!! I would recommend Nick Stevens to anyone who is looking to be a valued customer and not just a statistic....if you are looking for great customer service and someone to find the best deal and plan for you, he is your guy. He is truly an asset to the store he works for. I am extremely happy that we visited this store and didn't give up on the Verizon product. I think his name is BEN, it was my impression he seemed very unhappy at his job or maybe was not having a good day.. He tried helping but seems like he was forced to do it because he was the 1st one available I am guessing that's the store policy. My problem was not that difficult. I just needed to transfer contacts to a new phone. Over a 40 minute wait. Instead of trying to help everyone they were just trying to upsell to one person for an hour. Had a makeshift sign in sheet and said there was a short wait time. I didn't want to waste the time I already waited but other people got up and walked out, which I should've done. I stopped into this location to see about switching from my other cell provider. I have to give kudos to Bill, the sales rep there who helped me. He was probably one of the most helpful people I've ever worked with at a cell phone company. He went above and beyond to help me, and when I'm ready to switch companies (which I haven't done yet), this location is my first choice because of Bill's amazing, over-and-above service, time, and attention.
