Then I came in at my appointment time at 4:55 and then they had me sit for another 30 minutes after checking in only to tell me that they are not able to take me for a screen repair today. The manager was there and said he couldn't even make an exception. Entirely unacceptable for them to have the time available on their website to book an appointment for a screen repair and for their employee to tell me to wait all that time for my appointment knowing what I was booked for, just for them to tell me I can't get it done today because it's too late and they are too busy. If they were too busy, they shouldn't have told me to wait. And if it was too late, the appointment time shouldn't have been available. That was a complete waste of my day. Not to mention, I live 35 minutes away. Unreal.

He was talking all kinds of craziness about mine and my husband's emails being wrong, names spelled wrong, account being in different names, telling me I had to change info and wait for approx 4 months for things to process, etc etc. He did add if he could get things to work that we would save five dollars per phone, which would be $20 a month. After an hour of completely confusing me and getting me all rattled, he said he wanted to go consult with his manager. He returned and told me, when I had time to call Customer Service. He handed me a piece of paper where he had written down the customer service number. I was frustrated that the manager didn't even offer to come talk to me. I told the employee I was calling customer service in the store and resolving this, before I left. When I called Customer Service, I explained that I was in the AT&T store and the employee basically couldn't do anything on his end to help me after an hour and requested i call. The customer service guy said he couldn't figure out why the employee in the store was having such difficulty because he was able to pull my account up with no problem. He apologized for my inconvenience, and solved my issue in a matter of minutes. I learned a lesson... I will always attempt to call customer service, before I ever enter an AT&T store. Also, the Customer Service guy told me I would be saving $10 on each phone, total of $40 each month. So, that was more invalid information I was given in the store. The best thing about my whole experience at the AT&T store was the employee walked me over to the door and opened it for me to leave. I did inform him my issue was resolved quickly, and customer service questioned why it was so difficult for them to handle it in the store.

The promotion never applied to my account, so I went back to the store last month to have it fixed. Instead of resolving the issue, they incorrectly applied a completely different promotion that required a trade-in, which caused an extra $366 to be added to my bill. When I returned to the store to get this sorted out, the staff showed no interest in helping me. They would not take the time to investigate why these unexpected charges appeared and instead talked down to me, trying to confuse me and wear me down until I gave up and left. The manager, Quay, was especially dismissive. Rather than fixing the problem, he tried to convince me that the incorrect charges were valid, even though they were clearly the result of their mistake. It is clear to me that they misrepresented promotions to earn my business and later did everything they could to avoid taking responsibility. Ironically, when I called Verizon's customer service line, the issue was resolved in five minutes, something the store could have easily done if they actually cared. If you value honesty and good customer service, avoid this location at all costs.

I later learned that UBreakIFix is owned by Apple and it makes $ on billing insurance for repairs. Apple does not authorize repairs/replacements of Motherboards because it wants people to buy new iPhones. An informed tech guy later told me I should have brought my broken phone here, to Universal Wireless, because the repair guys here are talented and can replace Motherboards a lot cheaper than the cost of a new phone.
