The staff were friendly, but unfortunately that's where my positive feedback ends…read more I waited in line for over 30 minutes just to return an internet box. There were three employees behind the counter, yet there seemed to be no sense of urgency or effort to move the line efficiently. For the first 10 minutes alone, I watched two employees assist a single customer while the third employee stood nearby making small talk with that same customer. The conversation revolved around the customer survey and where they were from (the Bronx or New Jersey), rather than helping the growing line of customers waiting for service. During that time, the third employee also received two phone calls from what I assume was a manager asking how many people were in line, which made the lack of urgency even more frustrating. From a customer perspective, this seemed like a management issue. Why not have one employee dedicated to quick drop-offs and equipment returns, which made up a large portion of the line, while the other two handled more complex customer needs? Instead, an excessive amount of time was spent discussing the customer satisfaction survey and encouraging customers to complete it. Ironically, I never even received the survey, so I'm leaving my feedback here instead. My recommendations are simple: improve time management, minimize unnecessary conversations while customers are waiting, and utilize all three employees effectively. The third employee could have been helping customers instead of chatting with people who were already being assisted. In fact, the line might have moved faster if that employee had simply opened another register. While I was waiting, two customers became so frustrated that they left without being helped. Another customer mentioned he was on his lunch break and had already stopped by once earlier just to return equipment but had to leave again because the wait was so long. He brought a fold out chair with him as he was anticipating a long wait once again. Finally, don't assume that everyone returning equipment is canceling service and therefore isn't a priority. In my case, I wasn't switching providers--I had simply moved and needed to return my old equipment. I actually kept Optimum (though experiences like this make that decision harder to justify). This location could provide a much better customer experience with stronger management, better workflow, and a greater focus on serving customers rather than carrying on unnecessary conversations while the line continues to grow.

Hands down Terrible Customer Service and Impossible to Cancel…read more If I could give it negative stars I would! Optimum takes the cake for the worst customer service and longest hold times I've ever dealt with. Trying to cancel my service has been an absolute nightmare. I've called multiple times, been put on hold for over an hour, transferred from department to department, and still no resolution. Each representative gives different answers, and not one of them is able--or willing--to help. What's even more frustrating is the complete refusal to let me speak with a manager. Every time I ask, I'm told a supervisor will call me back, but of course, no one ever does. It feels like they make it intentionally difficult to cancel or get real help, hoping customers will just give up. This company has no respect for people's time or money. They're quick to charge for poor service, but when it comes to support or accountability? Crickets. Avoid Optimum at all costs. It's not worth the stress. I was under the impression my service was cancelled only to learn im being billed for service I do not receive at a residence I no longer own.

Even tho I already knew the item was not wireless I feel it's still good that he mentioned it. Product I purchased was a: Xbox One Rock Candy Blue wire remote. Item is great for its price you can't beat it. $29.99 sale price at the moment. Saved $10.00 on it. Here are some of the pro and cons of the store I felt. Pro: Staff was great & friendly Staff had knowledge of the products Store was clean and organized Cons: Certain products were low on stock might have been that they will restock soon. Overall great store to shop for video games. One great thing was when I was purchasing my product the guy gave me a free halo skin which was awesome. Something so small goes a long way in having great customer service. Would recommend this store.

The caucasian female (I don't know her pronouns) told us inside that she's shutting down soon even though the window says the store doesn't close until 8:30pm because she has been working 16 hours. I work 16 hours at my job all the time. That's how I've been able to spend literally thousands at GameStop on games, consoles, peripherals, and collectibles. I then ask if Chris is working and she instantly gets an attitude and proceeds to air out the dirty laundry that Chris was fired due to stealing (I have it all on video) I also have Chris's info and will be forwarding him this video as well. I never even knew Chris was fired from GameStop until today. Now every job I've ever had you DON'T talk smack about a former employee to a room full of other customers. That is unacceptable and unprofessional. I then ask for her name and she refuses. You can even see on video where she detaches her name tag from her lanyard. She then even threatens to call the police, even though I have the entire interaction on video. I will never step foot in this GameStop location ever again and I will also tell my friends, family, and co-workers which is many.

On our first visit, we met Michael and he was incredible. Another employee named Keira was there,…read moreand she seemed to be new, asking rudimentary questions while we waited. Upon the second time that we came to the store, I assured my husband that it would be a good experience since Michael had treated us so well the first time. My husband and I, a prominent doctor in the area, was threatened by this employee so we are warning others to STAY AWAY. KIERA A little background on this horrendous experience: we entered the store where a young emplo named Keira was supposed to help us. She did not say hello. We asked if we could trade in our three phones. She started working on returning one phone and asking us questions. I asked her to look up our account, as she was asking me for a number that I did not gave. I then proceeded to start asking her questions about the trade-in value. When I asked her why it works the way that it does, she said "because that's the way we do it and if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." We were absolutely shocked! We had just switched over our service to AT&T and bought five new phones. We had never been spoken to like that.. She proceeded to work on returning our phone but aggressive, impatient manner. I asked her why she was acting that way. She said that I had asked her to look up our account rudely. I I was confused, I said what did I say? She said "you said that I should ask look up the number." Her behavior got even worse. She was arrogant, condescending, and I told her that I did not appreciate the way she was speaking to us and that she was being very rude. She then refused to return our phones, asked us to leave because we were rude to her. This was shocking since she was the one that was being unbelievably disrespectful. We told her that we wanted to return the other two phones then told us to leave or she will call the police. Are we really at a point where if an employee who is responsible for Customer service feels that someone who asks them to look up their account in a way they do not like has the right to say that they will call the police? This is more than having a bad day. What I am sure of is that we were treated in a way that we have never been treated before by any person. We simply asked her to do her job. It was really incredible. Shame on AT&T for allowing an affiliate to carry their name and brand and products and not give acceptable service. Hopefully Kiera's bosses will take notice of this kind of behavior. We were sure to report it to AT&T wireless corporate,, and send a letter to the national office so that they could know that an independently owned Westport store really does not represent their company well. I did have a great experience with Michael a few days earlier - So at least there's some hope. Beware of Westport - Avoid the store at all costs as long as they have employees like this.
