My experience was great. I did not have an appointment to pickup my new phone that I ordered through the 800 number. So I waited close to twenty minutes but soon realized it's because they're giving the other customer's excellent customer service. When is my turn, the guy helping me couldn't have been any nicer. He was very patient and very friendly. He spent the time to make sure both phones were working on the correct phone numbers. It was towards the end of the day and I'm sure they wanted to get out of there, but I was made to feel like an important customer. First of all liars and second they try to swindle you into spending more money. Please be aware

The service Verizon provides is decent on coverage however, this service is the greediest who don't care about their customers. I walked in to get an exchange for my phone when my battery overheated. I was told that I had to call and make the claim myself. I went through three series of prompts only to be told be a recorded message that my call couldn't be completed. Once I tried a second time and got through, the rep on the other end told me that the store has to file the exchange and they couldn't do anything. I wasted about thirty minutes on making this call for nothing. I was then told that there was a crack on my screen which was the size of a pencil tip and that I had to file an insurance claim which required me to pay a deductible. I made the call and when I tried to get a break on the deductible, they would not do anything. I have been a Verizon customer since day one and felt I should have gotten a break. I have had issues with their products ranging from ridiculously short battery life to phones that generally performed poorly over the last year. Every time I walk in to a Verizon store, I end up paying at least $150 out of pocket because of stupid fee that corporate mandates. The reason why I have to come to your store is because there is something wrong with your products and you have the audacity to charge me? Why don't we add insult to injury. I am done with Verizon. They tell me they value me as a customer and you nickle and dime me with these fees which creates some. kind of shush fund. One final note, the phone was supposed to be delivered the next day before 7 pm still hasn't arrived. What's up with that, huh? read more

He walked me through all the options I had and did not try to sell me something I didn't need like the other location. He was responsive to all my questions and followed up on shipping issues. So, this summer I finally bit the bullet and decided to upgrade to a smartphone. I went into the store asking to see the Nokia Lumia Icon and the HTC one, after having read some great reviews online. The clerk at the door told me there would be a 30min wait before an attendant could see me (which was a little outrageous considering the employee/customer ratio was 2/1). When they finally got around to addressing me, I asked which one was the Icon, and the attendant showed me what I now know to be the Nokia Lumia 920. I thought I remembered having read that the Icon had aluminum sides (I did), but other than that, the phone seemed pretty identical to the photos I had seen online. After comparing what I thought to be the Icon with the HTC one, I told the attendant "I've decided to go with the Icon". He responded "Oh ok, the Lumia?", to which I answered in the affirmative. He rung me up and the register totaled ~$30. I told him that something must have gone wrong, because the Icon was supposed to be $49.99 with a $30 upgrade charge. He told me there was a promotion, which is why the phone was free. Turns out the attendant lied directly to my face. He intentionally sold me an outdated model in an attempt to get rid of old inventory. The fact that these cheating bastards thought that I wouldn't notice when I opened the box later that evening is, quite frankly, insulting. Not only do I have the wrong phone, but I now have to clear my Monday morning schedule to go back to the store to exchange it for the right model. Verizon wireless employees, if you are reading this, prepare yourself for a very VERY angry customer first thing tomorrow. ... Update: I returned to the store the next day and walked out with the correct phone 6 HOURS later. No, I am not exaggerating. I waited in the store for 6 full hours while they processed my request and transferred my data to the new phone. Also, I'm still waiting for the Windows Phone 8.1 update which AT&T pushed to it's users nearly two MONTHS ago. I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years and I used to swear by Verizon, but this experience has left me with absolutely nothing positive to say. read more

Went in to upgrade to the new iPhone XS. Upon arriving and explaining what I was there to accomplish we were assigned to a sales person to help us complete our transaction. This sales person was not helpful, in fact went so far as to say that "he wasn't allowed to transfer the data for us". And on top of that he attempted to pressure us into purchasing a pricey package of accessories (many of which we did not need)- which we declined to do- we only purchased a case to fit the phone we were buying. Today, I spent over an hour on the phone with the billing department, who was finally able to untangle the mess created by the verizon rep in January when we purchased new iphones and ipads. This was in addition to the two store visits that we made trying to straighten out the bill and get the truth about why our bill amount kept going up. The verizon rep at the store just kept saying it was ok and that this was what we signed up for, yet it wasn't. Thank goodness for this phone rep who took the time to listen and review the bills, adjust, refund and finally able to take the two extra lines off of our bill that were never supposed to be there. The store rep completely messed up the transaction, costing us money and over an hour of my time. The one star that I am offering up is for the phone rep who fixed the mess that the store created. read more

Went on to upgrade my wife's phone. After waiting around on the half couch/torture device of a sitting area for about 20 minutes, we were finally helped. The young gentleman helping us was a little hard to take seriously. I know they are going for a hip look for their employees, but basketball sneakers, drooping jeans and a giant set of headphones resting on his head is a little too hip for me to take someone as a professional. Long story short, my plan had been changed without my knowledge last year. I asked for a manager. The same guy came back 10 minutes later, without the manager and said there's nothing they could do. I told him that Verizon does not seem very concerned about keeping customers of over 10 years and that the level of service was terrible. If you bring a book to read while you wait, you won't go crazy with impatience. The staff are very nice, well-informed and helpful. There simply aren't enough of them to take care of everyone, especially on a Saturday so plan on waiting. I'm happy with my new phone and I'm happy with the service from David E and the store manager. A word of caution, if you are switching carriers, be sure to verify that your former carrier has released your number *before* you leave the store. I lost my phone. After two weeks, I decided it's time to give in and get a new one. I braced myself for a terrible, greater than one hour, Verizon Wireless experience. However, this location was not at all busy, and the sales person who helped me was not at all pushy. He quickly told me my options, and offered some unnecessary accessories, and accepted my no answer without question or without further attempts to try to convince me. They've gotten much better since renovating. It's clean, open and airy. The staff was super helpful and greeted me upon arrival. I needed a new case and glass and they put both on for me and got me all set-up. Glass was applied perfectly. I went into the store to replace my phone charger which had stopped working. Instead I was asked numerous times if I was happy with my phone (yes, it is an old one) and didn't I want to replace it? I repeatedly replied "No thanks, just need the new charger, please". I was then "mansplained" by the rep. as to how to insert a USB port in my phone (like I was a moron). I remained polite and finally got the charger. As I walked away I heard him utter "Jeesh". On a previous visit when I was having phone problems, my husband and I went into the store, explained to the guy rep. that this was my phone and he proceeded to ignore me and speak only to my husband (and still never solved the problem). There seems to be a serious problem with customer service here, especially when it comes to dealing with women. Unlikely I will return. Associate Kenny directed me to the Apple store in the trumbull mall, where my phone repair was fast and free. 5 stars because he was able to give me advice in terms of where to get my phone fixed and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.
