When we finally visited an actual T-Mobile location, the representative discovered that we'd been charged for this device for over two years without our knowledge. Even worse, they were able to see that the GPS tracker was never even ordered. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. We were charged for services and a device we never authorized, and it took a corporate T-Mobile store to uncover the issue. I would strongly recommend being extremely cautious, reviewing your bill carefully, and considering going directly to a corporate T-Mobile store instead of this authorized retailer.

When I received the first bill after trade in I discovered some charges I didn't expect. The bill showed that I owed $117.76 before credits. I called Consumer Cellular and talked to a very nice young man, however the young man didn't understand the bill himself so he kept putting me on hold to talk to a third party (I didn't mind holding either). After all was said and done the $60 charge for surcharges and fees was actually 2 months of easy pay plan debit. Instead of using my phone trade in credit against the remaining balance owed, they charged me two months of payments for the phone on the invoice. That is what brought the total bill before credits to $117.76. I don't know about anyone else, but when I see a charge that is before credits, I think, "Oh no! How can I pay this bill next month when there won't be any credits?" I would like for anyone with Consumer Cellular to pay attention to their bill received after the trade in credit is received. Consumer Cellular billing is extremely convoluted.

'Nothing like lugging a useless piece of equipment along on a long trip! Also when you call to cancel the service, you need to be very direct, and ask for a final invoice during the call--then wait for it. Otherwise, the request might just get "forgotten," and nothing is entered--and, to the company's advantage, you get an extra bill.

I've wanted to take down that dead cable but the city doesn't have authority and has told me to find out who owns the line. For two years, I've talked to cable companies and former phone companies only to get a bunch of "not our problem" responses. We're having the house painted this month and I need to get rid of that dead line and its junction box on the side of the house. I contacted OC's Public Works folks again, who again said they have no authority but suggested maybe contacting CenturyLink. I'd done that many months ago but decided to try it again. For whatever reason, this time somebody listened. CenturyLink scheduled one of their linemen to take a look. Yesterday, a CenturyLink fellow named Josh showed up, quickly snipped the old line over the street and even volunteered to remove the old junction box from the house exterior. He was quick, friendly, and totally cooperative. Keep in mind, this is after two years of a frustrating runaround from other companies. So, in this case, even though I'm not one of their customers, I give CenturyLink a well-deserved thumbs up!

I needed a new charging port and I also got the cover for the charging port. They had a reasonable price and convenient location. Their repair guy was only there part time. At first they said they had to order it. I waited a week, then the repair guy said he had the part, I came by and he said, nope it won't work. Then they said they had to order the part after all. A little confusing, but once the part came they fixed it in about 30 minutes. More recently I ended up getting my phone wet and for some reason the new charging port cover did not work as well as the original one and the phone got wet inside, but over-all I'm a happy customer.
