My husband and I had an online order for a new phone that got canceled, so we called the store and had a nine minute phone conversation where they checked to make sure the phone was in stock that they were putting it aside and we could start the process over in the store. When we got to the store, they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about, said they don't have those phones in stock and no one talk to us. Mistakes happen, but own up to your mistake. We talked to somebody for nine minutes, checking the color of the phone, space of the phone and giving our name to put it aside. In the store, when we tried to confirm the phone number(pulled up our recent call log) to make sure we didn't make a mistake- we were met with attitude, saying I don't know our stores number. How do you not know or aren't able to confirm your store phone? We went to our car because of the attitude we got. We pulled up our phone recent calls and called the exact same number while still at the store and it called OSWEGO AT&T store. They continued to not help saying they don't know if any other stores have it in stock , told us to just go to the Apple Store and. Rude, you helpful customer service. We've been paying insurance on our phones since opening the account. Well as of 1/24/24 a new upgraded insurance policy has been in operation. For $5 more a month all screen cracks and back glass cracks are covered for free. Even though we had been in there several times and the sales person said he "went over our contract" nobody informed us of this. Well recently on my iPhone 14 Pro my back glass broke after dropping it one single time w a CQ case the sales guy recommended. So I learned I was on the hook for $250 to have it replaced. If one of my several sales associates would've mentioned the new insurance option it would've saved me that money. I only learned of it when I had to go into get my new watch linked. This isn't the only issue I've had there either. I recommend avoiding this store. read more

Been meaning to leave a review, I visited this location a couple weekends ago. I wasn't looking forward to it because I was expecting to wait forever and have it be a long process like it has been in the past but to my surprise it was a great experience. Brandon helped me upgrade both my phone and my daughters, set up a new line for my son, helped me save money on a better plan and transferred everything to the new phones as well as taught me a few features I can't believe I didn't know about the iPhone. I work in retail and it's hard to find good people who genuinely do a great job and really go above and beyond. I was very impressed with him and my visit to this location. read more

I've been frequenting this store for years with purchases and issues. Everyone has always been very nice and mostly helpful, but my recent visit was exceptional. Ryan was the best!! My friend and I needed help with multiple issues. Before we walked in I thought, oh boy, how long are we going to be in here? Ryan was very patient, respectful, polite, knowledgeable and resolved everything in a short time. He answered all our questions without hesitation, he knew his 'stuff'! Today we went to make all of the changes and we worked with Delphina. I cannot explain how amazing she was to work with. Some representatives here are nice . Chaz was a little rude and awkward. Unrelated I had gone in to make sure my phone would work in Japan so I would not be stranded there. A manager and rep were very kind while helping me and checked everything and promised it would work and offered me an extended package for Japan for more money. However the phone did not work at all. No signal whatsoever . This caused a lot of issues. I'm really mad and glad I didn't pay extra for more phone time which wouldn't have worked On another note my phone stopped charging and I went in on emergency to see if they could help at all. Chaz wouldn't even look in the direction of my phone and said I'd have to take it to Apple. I took it to a repair place and it took them 2 seconds and they didn't charge me. I had high hopes for this store, I always seem to have issues with salespeople telling me one thing, then getting the bill and getting shocked. I had this issue at another store and a phone rep suggested I visit a "corporate" ATT because they are easier to work with/understand customer service. So I drove past two ATTs on my way to this store because I needed to be treated right. So specifically, I went in this store because I needed a new business line and a new phone. I wanted to get the best deal so I went in with a list of questions. One of the questions was what can I do to mitigate the cost of a new phone, at first the rep I spoke to Leo was very helpful and gave me advice. I spent about two hours in the store setting up the business line and inquiring about the new phone. I told him where my husband and I worked to see who got the best discount. We had compared with a rep before but since I was getting the new phone and had recently upgraded my plan I wanted to check again. Leo told me that my employer waived activation fees so when I bought the new phone that we would switch the discount so I wasn't charged for that. Simple right (I'll come back to that phrase)?? Well he tells me after I schedule the appointment to come get the phone (phone hadn't been released yet) that he probably won't be there that day, and that he will forward my appointment/requests to another salesperson. I said Leo I been here two hours to make sure this is done right, he said don't worry I will tell the rep what's going on so that he's ready when you come. Finally, I arrive on the day of the appointment. The rep that helped me was honestly very nice! I wish I had worked with him from the beginning because I don't think I would gone through all that. Honestly who knows though. Problem: I was billed for the activation fee because I honestly don't think the rep knew to switch the corporate discount. No big deal to me, things happen right? I know I work here so it should be easy? NO!! I called customer service and instead of them waiving it out of common sense, they send me back to the store. Annoyingly, I go back because I know it's gonna be resolved because it's SO petty at just $30. I go to the store and Leo is there. I ask for him and explain what happened. I honestly think this guy wastes my time just bsin on his iPad. I didn't really see him looking at anything of substance and it just felt like he was wasting my time instead of pressing a $30 button. Finally, when I say I'm leaving he says send me your check stub that says you work there. I'm uncomfortable but I'm like whatever. He gives me his number and says "text me" I send this man a screenshot of something very personal my paycheck!!! I send it because I want this rectified. He responds well after the store is closed at about 8:30pm! This was a clear indication to me that he hadn't really tried and says it's simple you don't qualify! Appalled, I say have your manager call me. He says fine his name is Will Diaz I'll fill him in. Fast forward over 72 hours later and after me calling the store and asking for Will no call back!! Between my business line and my personal services I spend $600 a month with ATT, I also bought an $1100 phone. This is it for me, I'm taking all my business elsewhere. It makes no sense that two people can't waive a petty $30 and return a customer call. I'm a businesswoman I have better things to do with my time and I don't appreciate it. Worst customer service!!! Starting from management to all the employees walking around the place with their little silly tablets, I miss the time when you could come and if you have a question you just wait for someone to be available and you ask the question, now days it doesn't matter what is that you are doing you must have a person assigned to you otherwise no one will talk to you, I came just to order and prepay the cost of the upgrade for my phones (5) and waited for about 35 min Just to hear my "assigned" employee tell me that I have to I have to bring all of my phone with me and she had to physically inspect them which is not true they can ask you questions about the phones and you can answer them to best of your knowledge and if the phones are worst then they charge you a little extra that is if you lie about it which I wasn't planing on doing, or I could do it on line, this took about 2min and they make me wait about 35min nice job AT&T... NOT. Someone needs to check the efficiency of their stores because just in my case last time when I did make an appointment it was a wait of at least 15 min with an appointment!!! read more

This store is adequate. The parking sitch leaves much to be desired-- they're located next to a UPS store and behind a Starbucks that always has a long line so there are approximately zero spaces open at any given time. I'd say it's about half the size of the store I usually go to (Geneva) but it seems to be equipped with all the same phones/tablets etc. I ran in to pay my bill @ the kiosk and no one acknowledged me on my way in or out. I didn't require any help, but I think it's polite to at least acknowledge a customer (especially one that pays you on a monthly basis). Whatev, kiosk was functional and I was in and out within a few minutes. Since this store is smaller than the one I usually go to I figure that accounted for the trimmed down staff (although there were still plenty of reps), but whenever I go in to the Geneva store, I'm spoken to immediately and asked what I can be helped with. Overall this store is good, but could probably take a page out of the Geneva store's book. read more

Went to the store to get a phone for my elderly mother who has trouble getting around and requires oxygen. Gary saw us coming and came to the door to help my mother into the store. He immediately sat her down at a bench and helped me find the perfect phone for her. He then brought the phone to her to make sure she was ok with it. Then he helped us walk out of the store. He was amazing and i would definitely go back and ask for him. Andrew ripped me off and lied about my internet. Came in to get my phone fixed for my son. Talked me into uverse, supposed to be the same price as xfinity. My payment was 540 a month and then my phones 280. I had to take out a loan and I still got sent to collections for switching providers. HATE THEM!!!! I am not an AT&T customer, my personal experience with this store and company are virtually zero, but I went along with a friend to remedy a problem with his phone. First off, why is AT&T tryna act like they're the Apple Store? Second, we were greeted at the door like we were totally inconveniencing the greeter. We had spoken with a Customer Service rep over the phone and he had directed us to the store because an associate the day prior had accidentally upgraded the wrong line for my friend's brother, leaving my friend's phone nonfunctional. Since my friend was not an authorized user we were rushed out to the door and told to call customer service and see what they could do, but the store could do nothing. Excuse me? Worst customer service ever. We went in to add a phone to our business cellular plan. They tell me that we owe $150 past due on our home internet bill. I show them that I paid the April bill and my May bill isn't due for another 4 days, so I am current. They continue to say I have to pay $150 on my PERSONAL bill so I can add a phone to my BUSINESS bill. I even have a confirmation number for the payment I made and I can log into my personal internet account to show that I am current. But they tell me it's NOT current in THEIR system, so I have to pay $150 to add the phone to my BUSINESS account. They are full of crap. I've been in that store many times, and unless they are selling you a new phone and new service, don't give give a crap about you. Terrible, terrible, terrible... read more

Had a horrible experience here! Went to upgrade my iPhone 7 to an iPhone X. After a long time waiting we were called with our woman, who was pretty pleasant and helpful. The male manager there also did his best to assist us- long story short, they were unable to upgrade my phone because their was an "insurance claim" on it. Although I had never had an issue or contacted anyone about my iPhone 7 considering it had not shatters and worked well. After they both attempted to fix it they recommended I call AT&T support. So we drove home and it took around 40 minutes (after waiting 15 minutes to contact) for AT&T customer service to tell me pretty much they weren't able to do anything for me because the IMEI of my phone was incorrect (how is that my fault? We set it up in store) after that unhelpful call they recommended I call Apple support. After calling Apple (who were actually very helpful- I literally told the woman I had received the best service from her all day) she was able to figure out what the issue was AT&T Oswego sold me a DEMO IPHONE! After all the effort to put me through, even insinuating that I may have had this phone replaced and gotten another one (which I had never done) it was their fault my iPhone wasn't working because it wasn't intended to be a sold model. After about another 40 minutes and a three way call between Apple support AT&T (again) and myself, they were finally able to fix the issue. The first guy I talked to told me he couldn't do anything for me, but the second woman who we spoke with on AT&T was somehow able to ask her supervisor and fix my IMEI code !!! I was beyond frustrated. We then drove back to the store and there was now a Mexican manager there (I'm Mexican as well so I hope that doesn't offend anyone! But I didn't get her name) but she was BEYOND RUDE! I let her know what Apple support and both AT&T said that my phone was a demo phone and that was why it didn't work and she snootily said, "that wasn't it; we would NEVER let you walk out of the store with a demo phone" okay b, but obviously we did because both support lines were able to agree and fix the issue because of that. Everything we said to her she had a snarky response to and obviously this whole situation has left a bad taste in my mouth. After being a retail store manager for 7 years I can assure you I know what proper service looks like and would never behave in the manner they did with us. I had walked into AT&T store looking to switch from TMobile. I was comparing with Verizon and sprint. Ana came up to me as soon as I walked in ask what she could help me with. I let her know exactly what I was looking for and how indecisive I was between getting one or two lines. She helped me through which devices has promotions, what memory was given in each price how much I would pay on my monthly bill for the device.Gave me the options of what the plans include what happens after my usage of such service. I left with a price and a ball park of what I was going to pay. She gave me her card and I left next door to Verizon. Had the same thing except the service that Ana gave me. I did leave there with all I needed to compare with your company. I went back to ask her about a few more options. After that my mind was set AT&T had the better promotions with plans and services. I did not even bother going to sprint at this point. Ana payed attention to everything I had questions for. She is one amazing human being and she definelty has that gold customer service we all hope we get. I finally decided on a phone and actually changed my mind last minute and she was not annoyed by it in anyway. She was very empathetic to how excited and nervous I was into switching from Tmobile who I've had for 6yrs. But the service from Ana set my mind at ease that everything will be ok. As we were in the process Ana walked me through and told me why it's asked for such things. While filling all that she actually asked about me, getting to know me. That was above and beyond what she needs to do.I loved it. It was a great conversation between us, and I also got to know her. As we were there waiting on my old phone number to be switched over I believe Christina came over to check on us. It maybe that she was a manager but it didn't matter she was a part of her team to give great customer service, she was very outgoing and asked why I was switching and she was also made me feel confident about my decision. She didn't step over Ana's toes. Christina also conversed with us and helped with my last minute switch of devices. Ana was able to transfer my contacts even offered to help transfer my photos. After my phone was set I was about to leave and then Ana said those magical words we have a few cases and screen protectors on SALE! I could not resist. $5 each for protectors and cases?! I definitely pulled out my card again to pay. I just want to thank you for having such an amazing employee such as Ana Z. She really is one amazing human being who is very confident in what her company provides especially for a customer like me who has been irritated with her previous network provider. I really was beyond satisfied with her customer service skills. She definitely makes me confident that I will have no issues like the ones I have had with Tmobile which already shows. Terrible customer service- which is not equivalent to how AT&T treats their customers on the phone! I visited the store to accept a promotion my husband received the day before on a smart watch. The girl asked her manager (who apparently couldn't come over to talk to me himself) and said she was not allowed to do it. I asked if she could call AT&T and she said no, they just weren't allowed to give me the watch for anything other than full price. Completely unwilling to do anything about it. She said maybe my husband's deal was at a non corporate ATT store, which according to her can make up their own rules. I left and called AT&T, NO problem whatsoever, only spent 10 minutes on the phone setting it up. I have a the watch being shipped priority to me immediately. Go to Plainfield store where you will get a better deal and better service. I purchased 3 IPhone X phones. I had to pick up 2 in Plainfield and 1 in Oswego. Plainfield store explained a better option for me that saved me $$. When my daughter picked up her phone in Oswego they would not do the same. Only excuses why they could not. My husband and I run an appliance repair business and have major unresolved issues with our AT&T phone service since last Thursday, 9/28/2017. We moved our office from one city to another last week and when I scheduled to have our same phone number transferred to the new location, I was told by 3 or 4 different phone reps that we would be able to do so without any problems. This was EXTREMELY important due to the fact that this has been our business phone number for 4 years and is on our website, trucks, business cards, magnets, etc. On 9/28, our phone line at the old location was disconnected so that it could be transferred to our new location- when the technician was connecting the phone line at the new location, he told me very nonchalantly that he could not reconnect our previous phone number. At that time, I told him that is unacceptable and we need that exact phone number at any cost. I spoke to customer service again while the technician was at the house, and for about an hour and a half we tried to troubleshoot and find a solution to get the number back up. At the time their only solution was to put a message on the old phone number stating our new number so that our customers could at least find us that way. This was okay as a temporary solution but they also told me it could take 24-48 hours to get that message up which is completely unacceptable. My husband spent at least 8 hours at the AT&T store that day working with the managers there to find ANY way at all to get our number working again, to no avail. The following day, a technician was sent to our old location to install a modem and the landline again to reinstate our phone number there. The plan was to reinstall it there and then get the number ported to a cell phone so that it would be portable at all times and we would not lose our number again. It took six hours for the technician to get the landline reinstalled while my husband had to wait around there, due to AT&T not knowing how to allow the number to be available again to take. My husband actually had to tell AT&T what steps they should take to get the phone number back- this is completely ridiculous that my husband, who has no experience in this line of work, was able to figure this out but not one person at AT&T had a clue how to do it. Finally, once our number was back on the landline, AT&T went to transfer it to the mobile phone for us- and could not get it to do so. It's now been five days total without our business line, and we receive 100-200 phone calls a day. This is causing us to lose at least $6K-$10K a day and every single day for the entire day we've dedicated to getting our phone lines back up. This has been such a huge time and money waster and no one at AT&T will help us. We have 7 employees and their families that depend on us and our business, but we are not getting enough work in for this week for them due to this. At this point, we are seriously considering legal action against AT&T. We are desperate to get our business line back and cannot find a single person who knows how to do their job at AT&T. read more
