Very ignorant behavior- extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. Don't recommend to anyone.

We had a screen replaced here for an iPhone under a year ago and the display suddenly started showing laser beams months later but he charged it after it died and it went back to normal. Now it was the 2nd time it did that; but never went back to normal so I took it in to get checked out and they told me he must've dropped it even though his phone was perfectly normal and screen wasn't cracked. He said the only thing they can do is replace the screen again and charged me for replacing it in less than 10 mins when it was never cracked or showed any signs of it being dropped (which he even confirmed after looking at it). I feel whoever took care of me was being dishonest about how their screen failed and made me pay something regardless. I don't trust this place anymore. It's a shame bc I've brought other phones here and have brought other family members to bring theirs here too but we will all be going elsewhere from now on. A replaced DISPLAY shouldn't all of a sudden "crack" when the phone hasn't been dropped and the ACTUAL SCREEN wasn't cracked at all and entire phone was in great condition. Smh. I only paid bc I need my teen son to have his phone back before going back to school tomorrow. Also, when I was waiting for the screen to get replaced, another young man clocked in, didn't say a word to me, takes care of these 2 guys that walk in a few mins after and chooses to ring one of them up where I'm waiting for the other guy in the back to finish the screen and he doesn't tell me anything so I have this big guy breathing very heavy wayyy to close behind me! Cost me $110 to have the display on my phone replaced. 3 days later when I had to swipe to unlock my screen, it went black and never came back on. Since it was useless, I asked my asd son to take my SIM card out so I could try to use another phone in the mean time. When he did he added a screw to the mother board. I brought the phone back explaining how the display went out after it prompted me to unlock the screen. They called and said that somebody else opened the phone so they were not going to honor their warranty. They wouldn't even contact whoever they got the part from to see if I could at least get a new WORKING part to take somewhere else and pay, yet again, for it to be installed. So, I'm out $110 and am in the same exact situation as when I brought it to them. So, I would say save yourself the $ now and don't even go. I'm the only parent of a special needs child and am on very limited funds. I made that clear the first time I was there. I couldn't afford to be screwed over like this. How awful. I am so disappointed with my experience here.. I went here to get my phone battery replaced and the back fixed because it was cracked. I literally waited the first day almost 3 hours. Then, I went home and I never had issues with my phone speaker but after they fixed it I literally could not understand anyone on the phone... it was all gargled and just simply broken ...it turns out while they fixed the back of the phone they broke my speaker. My speaker was never broken before. Then.. to top everything off I bring it back because they said they can replace my speaker and they did not fix it. While they were "fixing" it I waited another 2 hours. They told me to go to a different location. I spent 230 dollars and I am very pissed because I have waited so long for them to "fix" the phone and it is unreal on how frustrated I am and also how long they make you wait here. Then I spoke to the man at Joliet battery place he said he sent the part to Tinely Park. I go to Tinely Park location and they said they have no idea what I'm talking about. If I knew this place was this bad I would have just bought a whole new phone. To top everything off at Tinley Park they couldn't fix it either. I waited another hour and 30 minutes. They promised me a new speaker in my phone that they broke. They broke my speaker and left it broke. Very disappointing experience and I do not recommend this place at all. Do not be fooled by these people. I wasted about 7-8 hours of my time waiting around for nothing to be fixed.. read more

This is a business that lacks communication skills I placed a order online Saturday morning Mitch calls a few hours later to inform me that the battery i have ordered would be in late Saturday or early Sunday morning i informed him i wouldn't need it til Sunday morning, i called back 10 min later to get an exact hour battery would be there , Mitch informs me that he would go get it himself before the shop open it would be ready for pickup up to this point no problem , Sunday morning came took a uber and old battery 30 min drive and 15 bucks later i get there 10:12 shop is still close with 4 people waiting for the place to open , come to find out battery isn't there , the person behind the counter didn't have a clue what i was talking about. I was given a choice that either i get a refund or wait it would be about 1hr 30 min for the battery to arrive , VERY UNPROFESSIONAL place . Went online to order a mower battery! Found a Duracell and ordered it for pickup! The site asked if there would be a alternate person picking up and I checked the box and entered his name and phone number! Went to the cart and paid with my credit card. Received email saying order was ready and that when picking up you had to have order#, ID and the credit card used! I called them and told them that my grandson was picking it up and he did not have my card! They said he had to have the card! So I told them to cancel the order! They said I couldn't cancel, and had to come in for a refund! This card should not have been charged until I picked up the order! Other places like Home Depot and Walmart do not charge card until picked up! How outrageous! I don't recommend ordering online from them! read more

Do not waste your money or time at this store! Most frustrating experience I have ever dealt with. I went for a screen replacement for my Google Pixel 6 Plus, they claimed to have repaired it but the screen kept coming off. I went back three times for them to "fix it." Finally took it elsewhere and found out the repair was done completely wrong, they did not use the bracket to attach the screen. The owner/manager of this store, Mitch, blatantly lied to me about the error in the repair and was unwilling to refund my money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME like I did. read more

Hello, I went to the Joliet store and a man named Ron was so kind and he helped me to charge a phone battery long enough so I could transfer precious pictures off of my phone before I bought a new cell phone. The port on my phone had broken so this info couldn't been transferred. Ron charged it over night as I came to the store just before closing. It was done the nect day and sure enough, the old water damaged battery turned the phone on long enough to be transferred to Walgreens. This really was priceless as my boyfriend of 20 years had passed away in July and the pictures of were us together. Ill be back for bulbs and othet things that came up. Ron is an angel! This place is absolutely amazing, they did me a huge solid in a time of need. They have great employees and any battery you looking for. I needed 20 CR1620 batteries and instead of letting me get screwed at Walmart they gave them to me for a very reasonable price for being a local store. These folks are great! Excellent customer service and a "no-pressure" experience. Checked out some scooter batteries and put in some new ones. Had me try scooter before leaving. Scooter didn't work, so they asked to keep the unit to check it. Advised me that if the unit was not working, that they could dispose or recycle the old batteries and that there would be no charge for their efforts. read more

Went in to buy some batteries to put in 2 car remotes. Batteries on rack showed 2 for $8.99. Person took both remotes and put in batteries and charged $17.98. Really????...They could have told us up front what the cost of installed batteries would have been...Would have chosen to install them myself...Oh well, won't be back there again.. read more
