His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout the entire process. I would also like to recognize Sonia, who worked alongside Carlos to ensure my transition was completed smoothly. Even after the store's closing time, both Carlos and Sonia remained patient, attentive, and focused on making sure everything was fully set up and functioning properly. Horrible customer service. Management at this store needs basic training. I went in to add one line to my existing account. The employee who helped me added two lines instead and then said she could not remove the extra one. I was charged for a number I never authorized. She also added extras I did not request or approve. I was told only the manager could fix it, and he was on vacation for two weeks. No one else could help. I now owe AT&T about $3,000 for services I did not authorize. I am furious ! I will not recommend this store or AT&T corporate. Stay away. read more

Just got off the phone with AT&T customer service. Everybody needs to watch their bills they're adding on $10-$15 extra and you're saying it's a data and we've always had it. They're lying you guys be careful it might be easier to switch to Verizon. read more

I'd had a great deal of difficulty trying to get an issue resolved with AT&T's phone support so I tried returning to the store in Palm Springs hoping that Sonia, who had been a great help on a previous occasion, might be there again. It was my lucky day. She solved the problem (well above my head) in less than 10 minutes. I can't speak about the other employees but she's knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend. read more

My wife upgraded her Galaxy S22 to an S24. That meant my S21 was sacrificed to the AT&T gods and I took over the S22. Confusing, and generally incomprehensible procedures (to mere mortals like me!) were required to make all the changes, preserve all information, Apps etc. Far beyond my abilities! It was with great trepidation that I entered the AT&T store at 2465 E. Palm Canyon, in the Smoke Tree Commons shopping center. The store was Iike most other AT&T stores I have been to, except for the relaxed, unhurried and welcoming environment. We were greeted by Lisa, who, when told what my wife's goals were, immediately set to work making them come true! She was a master of the arcane arts, and not only quickly and efficiently made all the changes, but actually gave suggestions that improved on our original goals. Since I was having some tech issues with internet, cable and a landline telephone (yes, I'm old) I thought I'd visit my three service providers today to see what I could do to improve my communications issues. First, I visited Spectrum in Palm Springs earlier today. My visit ended being a total success! I wrote a 5 star review in the car just after leaving. Now I've just finished my visit to the ATT store. Another equally awesome experience thanks to the help of Daniel who had to bring me up to date with the various changes...including the elimination of ATT offering traditional old style landlines. He checked my account(s), gave me great advice and came up with the proper solution. There was no wait when I walked in at 6:30 pm. The three guys working there were super kind and helpful. I saw how they treated a myriad of customers while I was there...I was greatly impressed. I was going to try to visit a Frontier store before 8 pm but apparently there is none. Daniel even offererd a solution for the competition...he died I might get additional info/help by visiting a nearby Verizon store. I'll try that tomorrow. I'd like to quit while I am ahead and feeling good about my teo great experiences at both Palm Springs Spectrum and ATT! read more

When I went there, the place was empty except one customer being helped, and 3 salesmen on their phones. No one came over to ask if I needed help, so I sat and waited. After 20", I asked one of the guys if I could get some help and he said he was off the clock and someone else would help me in a minute. The attitude of the guy that finally came over and 'helped' me was so incredibly rude. Maybe if I'd been young and cute,, he would've helped me instead of letting me sit in an empty store for 30" before coming over. I was given an iPhone 15, that was bought at that store, I had the receipt, and I needed some help transferring over from my old phone. He told me I had to contact Apple, and actually said he had no way of knowing if I stole it. I'll never return there. read more

Came in because I had Verizon and t mobile and both are non existent in this desert area. I worked with Lisa and traded in two iPhone 15 pro Max's for a new Samsung note ultra 24 and a galaxy z flip 5. The service so far has been life changing and we have 4-5 Bars everywhere and are so happy. I worked with Lisa who set everything up for me and her coworker Manuel assisted in a few things like figuring out my first responder discount. Extremely friendly people. Walked into store this morning and was shut down before I finished my sentence. Worker, Shahim stated, "You can't do that." I had not finished asking him and he couldn't repeat back to me what I said. Horrible treatment. I left wanting to get rid of my phone plan that I've had over 15 years. I went in later to get his name and was met by his even worse manager, Arkedia. She also cut me off to say "she heard everything!" After barking at me, nor could she repeat back to me what I was looking for. Wow. Avoid this store and know that Shahim's " you can't do that" was not accurate. Was looking for help in purchasing and AT&T service plan along with two new iPhones. The customer service representative said the best option was to purchase an iPhone elsewhere and bring it back to this AT&T store to purchase a phone and data plan. Her indifference to having us as customers convinced us that AT&T would not be the right choice for us. read more

This is an updated review. We decided to give the store a second chance and we're very disappointed. Currently there is a promotion going on offering up to $800 towards a Samsung galaxy trade in. The managers guaranteed me I would get $800, however when I brought in the device, they gave me a trade in contract valuing the phone at $20. When asked, they stated that where the contract says up to $800, that's the guarantee. I'll attach the contract. As you can see, there's nowhere that clearly states $800 is our trade in, but that $20 is our trade in. They asked how to mitigate the issue, in which I said, "give me something that guarantees the promotion will be credited to me and I'll move forward." This offer was refused by multiple managers. These tactics are misleading to the consumer because the contract clearly states the stores trade in value is binding and they aren't required to give me more than the trade in value. This complaint will be going to the California department of consumer affairs. At least Shahim and Pablo are complicit in this scam. See attached photos. read more

Came in to get some help with getting a number ported to Verizon after spending hours on the phone with a rep. We were greeted and helped by Shahin who was very kind and tried his best to help us even though we were leaving AT&T. Unfortunately the issue was too complicated and the phone rep had create a ticket. Nonetheless Shahin's customer service was exceptional and he waited with us and did everything he could to try to help us and even let us know we could come back if needed. NEVER and I mean NEVER buy prepaid services with AT&T . I came in and explained to Lana that I was already having service issues with the wireless service I was with. Switch over to AT&T prepaid wow now I don't have service at all tried calling AT&T while speaking to a customer service representative my call was dropped. Literally holding my phone up in my house to see if service would come through still no SERVICE. Sorry it's not the tower because I previously had AT&T on a family account and it worked fine but I guess PREPAID customers don't get the same PRIVILEGES. read more

I just left there and the agent was so disrespectful when they lied to me saying it would take 3-5 days to deliver my phone and when I went online to track it was 11-12 days from ordering it. Then the manager was even worse and they pretty much pushed me out the door and closed it on me. I have it recorded to show a manager so I am in hopes someone contacts me after seeing tbisI will be leaving this company tomorrow and going to Verizon. The worst part of all this is non of them really care about customers.. This was a few weeks ago. I just got off the phone with them since things still aren't correct with my account since dec 23 and it is Jan 31. They made an error after all this and paid off another phone not mine and refused to transfer to mine. I am a long time AT&T subscriber. I went into the store for some technical support on a voicemail issue. The rep (Jaime, I believe...no name tag), was VERY unhelpful. He was curt, seemed impatient with my issue, and unprofessional (no eye contact, short one word answers, seemed surprised that I didn't know how to reach Customer Service when I asked for their number). It is almost as if he was bored to be there, certainly bored to be assisting me. The store was empty, but he was rushing me out to call 611 myself. Everyone here is "undergoing training" so you'll be waiting on a manager -- who also knows nothing -- to supervise your "experience." AVOID. Tried a pre-paid account. 2 days, 3 store visits and more than 10 hours on the phone and no service at my house. Even though my phone can handle WiFi calling which would solve the problem, AT&T refused to provision my phone with WiFi calling. I had the account active for less than 48 hours and had to port away. My money? Oh, they don't refund your money --- even if they cannot provide service. They kept every penny and delivered NOTHING. read more

People at the store were accommodating and helpful. Their coverage in the Coachella valley is not as good as some other carriers, which they seem to acknowledge. But it's particularly ironic that AT&T chose one of the weakest spots as a store location. Maybe that's because many customers here are vacationers or snowbirds. This is why AT&T is really dumb. I have 2 months left in my contract. I tried to upgrade to the iPhone 4s. I would have had to pay 2.25X the price of the phone to upgrade. Thats right, the $199 phone was over $450 because I'm 2 months away from, now get this, being able to choose ANY carrier. I can go to Verizon. I can go to Sprint. I can be crazy and buy an unlocked phone and add minutes to it on Boost, if that company even still exists. If AT&T had been a tiny bit smart, and just done what they have done with every single other upgrade that has come out for the past 5 years, they would have had me locked in for another 2 years @ $100 per month. So $200 is potentially going to cost them $2400. Bad business, especially for someone who has been so loyal for so long. I was happy with Sprint, and only switched because AT&T was the only way to get an iPhone. Now that I have choices, we shall see what the future holds for me. read more

This store is a complete waste of time! They have no devices on display(due to the Pandemic) as if they couldn't sanitize them or at the the very least encase them in plexiglass display boxes. There is no literature on any of the the devices, they don't even have the sense to used the display screens they have on their walls to be interactive so the employees can pull up specs and photos/videos of the devices they carry. The rep that assisted said I should go to Target to see the phones and even upgrade my phone and plan there(none of which is possible, by the way.) He also suggested I go to Best Buy as I could also see the devices there. So I question why do we need an AT&T store? They expect you to know what you want when you walk in the door and if they give you something that you didn't want you have to pay $60 to return it. I initially was offended at the level of disinterest of the rep however when working somewhere where you can't do anything but refer customers somewhere else , that attitude will set in I guess. This store needs to close or figure out a way to navigate this moment, something you'd think would come easy to a communication/tech company.
