My daughter and I went in last week to discuss moving our accounts from Verizon to AT&T. We had a very competent and polite representative, Sergio. He carefully explained all of our options, let us know what to do if we decided to switch carriers and said to give him a call if we had any questions. Gave us his work schedule over the weekend. We went back to Verizon for a "last look" before we terminated, they really didn't care if we left - after 20 years - so we decided to move our entire account of 5 lines to AT&T. We went in today and worked with Sergio. These are our business lines, our business hot spot, etc. lots of moving parts. Also, we needed new phones as our IPhone 6s devices were long past replacement time. We were able to get the "buy one give one" deal on the phones - we are so happy! We switched all of our lines with the assistance of Sergio. He set up our phones, ordered our new Hot spot unit, it took a while and Sergio never made us feel rushed or that we were bothering him. We finally felt like a valued customer - something Verizon has forgotten how to do a long time ago. We also set up a Direct TV account, that was also no muss no fuss! We are having a Direct TV guy out tomorrow to get us launched. We have already been able to use Direct TV on our phones - AMAZING! I am so happy with this center. I can't say enough about Sergio - he is so thorough, he knows the business, he knows the products, he is very thoughtful and respectful as he sets up your new account. I have no regrets leaving Verizon and starting our new service with Verizon. Both trips into the store were very pleasant and again, we can't say enough about Sergio and how good he is with the customers. We felt very welcomed and appreciated for moving our business to AT&T. Unbelievable!! I decided on a phone and was planning on buying it out right. The person helping me pushed a promotion on me and said if I accepted the promotion I'd get the phone for free. Sounds silly maybe, but I declined the promotion. The person sounded irritated and then came back and said they didn't have that phone in stock and asked if there was a different phone I wanted. I said no. They said they could have it shipped to me, I declined because I need it now, today. I told them I'd just go to another store and he allowed me to leave the store. They gave me a "loaner" I phone but it wasn't the one I wanted so I had to wait. meanwhile three months went by and I still have received my phone. I was told the man who gave me the loaner should have never did that.So he said it will be overnighted and he would call me within 24 hrs. Never happened! I came into the store to pick up a phone that I ordered online. Not getting new service, mind you - just upgrading an existing line. There were around 15 other customers in the store and five employees, which quickly dwindled down to two actually visible in the store. I waited for 52 minutes to be helped for a process that took all of five minutes. The lack of urgency the employees have is insulting and AT&T needs to properly staff their stores, especially this close to the holidays. read more

So went in looking for an iPhone 7 and had a guy named Vic helping, first thing had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times cause he mumbles, when finally get to the point of purchasing he asks me to sign agreements to pay without being able to read them. When I told him I don't sign anything without reading it first his manager try saying I can read it after I sign but they don't have copies to read first. This "manager" couldn't understand that reading it afterward is pointless since your signature is already on it. Got a two year contract with AT&T and bought an iPhone. Told them I was moving to northern Illinois and needed nationwide plan and specifically asked if they were sure I would have coverage where I was moving. They assured me I would have coverage. After moving, found there was no coverage in my area. I had to switch to Verizon and buy a new iPhone again. AT&T charged me $225.00 for early termination fee. I told them I thought they should wave it, since they told me incorrectly that I would have coverage here. The lady manager just got snooty with me, interrupted me, and said they would take me to collections if I didn't agree to pay their termination fee. The only reason why they got one star is for the greeter. Not only did Kiara earned this location a bad review, she lost them a sale. I told her my phone was not working so she put my phone to her ear as if she was the phone whisperer, clicked my volume button, and then proceeded to ask if I had something spilled on it, I said yes. So with that answer she stopped her "troubleshooting". She asked for my information to pull up my account. I am on a family share plan so, No I was not on the account but it would have taken me a couple minutes to be added. I left frustrated! I went home to plug in my phone and it turned on So, I decided to go to another location. They got my phone working, let me call my brother to add me to account, and sold me a phone with the upgrade that Kiara so clearly had no time for!!!! read more

Dear Jason, I am writing this letter to praise one of your employees at your store. I have been with ATT for at least 11 years now and although cusomer service has been good in ATT store locations I am compelled to write you and inform you of the EXCELLENT customer service I received on two different occasions by Amanda. I do not know her last name. On December 3rd I thought that my phone had been stolen so I came in and purchased a new iPhone. A gentleman who was nice did help me out. Lo and behold I found my phone when I returned home. I immediately called your store back and informed the male representative that I had found my phone and I would be back immediately to return the new one. He informed me that there would be a restocking fee and I was taken aback by this. I don't have much money and to think I was going to get a restocking fee when I only had the phone for 30 minutes was depressing. When I entered the store the guy who originally helped me was busy. Amanda cheerfully asked me if she could help. I explained the situation and my disappointment that I may be facing the restock fee. She excused herself and went into the back room and came back and said she got approval to waive the fee! She spent about 30-40 minutes undoing everything and then sold me a new case for my phone. She was warm,professional and very competent. My horrible day was made so much better by her. On December 23rd I came in to price compare and possibly purchase your BYGO iPhones and iPad. I was lucky enough to have you help me initially and you offered me $200.00 off of the iPad as Best Buy was offering that. At this time I took the opportunity to let you know of my experience earlier in December and how outstanding the customer service was provided by Amanda. Amanda stepped in to take over as you were busy managing the store. She spent the next 3.2 hours with me helping me make the best decisions based on my account. She really researched to find the best way to serve me without breaking my bank. However, being the awesome sales person she is I left there with two sets of beats 2 headphones, an applewatch, a mini ipad, a regular iPad pro, an iphone 7 and an iphone 7plus, as well as a lifeproof case! Mind you I only went into the store to price compare and was not planning on making any purchases that day. Although I knew I was spending a lot of money I felt confidedt that I was getting the best possible cutomer service and that she cared enough to really take her time to take care of me and do the best with MY interests and heart. I could not believe how knowledgable she was about everything. She seems to thirve on knowing how to navigate through all issues and knows her products well. I Also wanted to point out that while she was helping me there was a gentleman waiting for her to assist him. He only wanted her to help him. He waited patiently and a long time for her because he knew he would get the best service from her! Well worth the wait. I am usually a person full of anxiety and suspicious of most customer service reps because I have been burned plenty of times by reps either being remiss or hasty and making mistakes or just flat out trying to sell me everything including things I don't need. I know that when I come in to see Amanda she is there to take care of my needs the best way that she can and professionally represent and maintain the high quality and integrity of ATT. I have been to this location a few times and each time I regret it. Each time, it takes them a long time to even acknowledge a customer. Today we were in the area and decided to try to go in and get a phone for our daughter.. Well after waiting about 15 minutes and several employees making eye contact with us, not ONE acknowledged that we were there or asked if we needed help or even just to let us know that they will be with us in a little bit. The camera on my brand new iPhone 6s Plus was broken. I took it to Apple to see if they could fix it, they said I had to go to AT&T because I got it from them. I went to this store and the manager Eddie took very good care of me. He said because it was under 14 days of warranty, Apple had to replace it. He called the Apple Store talked to the manager and told them to replace my phone. He got me an appointment set and I returned to the Apple Store. This really is not about this store, but it is about the company in general. I have been a customer for 10 years, and, until recently, pretty happy and satisfied. In October 2014, I added my partner's phone to my account, purchasing 2 new phones. My iPhone, as always, has been just fine. His Galaxy POS has been a nightmare. As of today, May 20, 2015, I am replacing this phone for the FOURTH time. On the third go round, I told them I wanted to exchange it for the iPhone 6, but I was told that that was not possible, unless I paid for this pile of junk and purchased a new phone. REALLY?? Less than 9 months we have had this phone and we are going on its 4TH replacement?? And all of the problems have been the phone, not abuse, since it has the industrial case. The AT & T store in Laveen needs some customer service training. After 15 years of being with the same carrier, I went in to see why I was having trouble with having service. I would have no service, to two bars, to calls being dropped. This went on for three days. They kept telling me that on of the towers was being worked on (it is 2018, 3 days of no service, not acceptable with the fees we pay). This store told me that it is not their fault, and if I need to switch companies, do what I need to do. So, I went to verizon, where I upgraded, have the same unlimited everything, and pay less. This place is horrific! I went there to just get a new screen protector on my phone. When i walked in there was a guy with an ipad who asked me how he could help. I told him what i needed, he then asked if they would need to put it on for me. I responded yes, and he said 'ok, take a seat someone will be with you really shortly'. So i started to look at the different screen protectors, found one i liked and sat down and waited. All the while the guy with the ipad walked over to one of the sofas and started watching football. Then a woman walked in wearing a low cut shirt and lots of makeup walked in and all of a sudden the guy with the ipad was more than happy to help her out. I was watching as he was talking to her for about 15-20 minutes, accessing her account and answering her questions, yet putting on a screen for me would've taken all of 2 minutes. After waiting about 10 more minutes (about 35 total) i gave up and my friend and i just walked out. Will NEVER return and really want to cancel my service with AT&T as well. read more

I've come to this specific store on numerous occasions. Each visit there are long lines. I would suggest only going if you have the time to wait. If you notice each employee works hands on with each customer making sure everyone leaves the store happy. At least from what I've noticed. Sure I have thought that the staff was taking way too long with everyone ahead of me. That was until I was getting help and the clerk talked me and walked me through everything so that there was no confusion. She was polite to my mother and made sure she understood what was happening. That is the reason for the long waits. I can appreciate that because waiting now only means to me when my turn comes I will have any and every question answered. Are there days they seem understaffed, yes but the still maintain each customer get 100% attention and that's the reason for the long wait (in my opinion). The manager forgive me I forget his name either Eric/Jesse, he was Hispanic came over to make sure my mother and I understood every thing we got ourselves involved in. So while I could say AT&T should employ more staff just to keep the wait times below an hour would help a lot. Over all I like coming to this store. Some of the staff no me by name and are patient with me because I'm slow when it comes to this. I think with the management in a year this will be the #1 AT&T spot to go. read more

We went to this store today to change from Sprint. We had iPhone 5's and had the codes to unlock the phones from Sprint. I also work for a company that gets a discount from AT&T. We were assisted by Mike, he first attempted to unlock our phones, as that was unsuccessful he then called for further assistance and we found out the 5's were not unlockable for use with AT&T; it was the next version 5 C & S that would work. We had forgotten to bring our Sprint account number and as I could not get the full account number through a mobile device at Sprint we had to head back home while Mike went to lunch. When we got back to the store a young woman greeted us and let us know she had seen us drive up and she let Mike know and he would be out in a few minutes. We had let Mike know before we left we needed new iPhone 6's and two SIM cards for iPad's, when he came out he had everything we needed. In about an hour Mike had all our devices set up and working. Sprint service had been terminated and Mike initiated an email to me at my work email address so I can easily get the discount. Mike walked us to the door and said when he was testing our new phones he called from his number so if we needed help we could call him. This was an awesome experience. read more

I came in to convert 5 of my existing lines to prepaid. I know that I can do this over the phone but I had to also pay off several of my phones which would amount to over 2k. For that reason I didn't feel comfortable making that payment over the phone. Vanessa was the person assisting me and was very nice and helpful but her manager, Amy, made me feel uncomfortable and very unwelcome. Vanessa asked her a question regarding the process and immediately was told by Amy that this type of process was done by customer care and not in-store. I know for a fact it can be done in the store. Later on, Amy also interrupted Vanessa and told her that if she wasn't done in 10 minutes that she would take over the interaction and send her to lunch. When time passed by and we were still working on it she scolded Vanessa on why she was using her personal phone to help me and to use another phone in the future. I'm not exactly sure what type of rules they have but as a manager, you should never do that to your reps in front of a customer. It's uncomfortable to me and disrespectful to your employees. As soon as Amy took over, i wanted to leave. She was quiet, bland and no conversation was had. She just wanted me out of there. After working on it for some time. Only 1 of my 5 lines had service. Amy proceeded to tell me I had to wait till the next day to be able to do anything because customer care was closed. She acted as if her resources were exhausted. She literally let me walk out. My family have no service And my elderly grandma has no communication with us thanks to this woman. I walked out and as I sat in my car thinking of what to do, I saw Amy leave the store. She literally threw me out cause I wasn't generating a sale for her and she wanted to go home. I just started working for a local business in Phoenix and was recommending them to create a business account with AT&T. Needless to say, that will not happen and will take our business elsewhere. The 10 iPads and 8 phones will not be activated with AT&T. Amy has no respect for her employees and for the loyal customers that walk through those doors. This is one of the WORST AT&T stores in the valley. One heavy set female (Melissa) that works here was just plain rude and very inappropriate attire for a place of business. The staff here are routinely slow and don't always seem to know their jobs. Management needs to train better employees or close this location. This location is a blemish to AT&T and if I never have to return here it will be too soon. Did I mention staff sit on a break with a lobby full of people. At present time there are 4 people who have not even been checked in to the queue. I dread coming in to this location because they are always so busy. I made and appointment last night via ATT website and showed up a few minutes early today. I was lucky to be helped by Amanda who greeted me literally within 20 seconds. I needed to go over changing my plan and check to see if I qualify for an upgrade on the new Iphone when it comes out. I already felt embarrassed because I had so many questions but Amanda took the time to answer every single one of them and also went over every plan to make sure she found the one that best fit my needs but that would also saved me money. One of the things that really surprised me and really made me want to write this review is that despite being with me and being one of many employees working, Amanda was the only one to make sure to greet EVERY single client coming in with a warm hello which to me is music to my ears since I work in customer service Management. After I witnessed this a customer came in and she looked at one of the employees to make sure he would go and help this customer... after this I though "she is so great and has to be the Store Manager or at the very least an assistant" ; to my surprise when I asked she told me she was neither but rather she was a sales rep/associate. I have to say that I was shocked because not only does she have a great presence but she took care of me while ensuring everyone else was also being taken care off. I cannot praise Amanda enough, she is wonderful knowledgable and rest assured she will have your best interest to get you the plan/items you need. I have been with At&T for several years. I was looking to upgrade 2 lines. I called in customer service not planning on upgrading over the phone because things never turn out the way they say. The rep ensured me that he would take care of me, and even waive or credit the account for activation fees of $25 per phone ($50) that was a lie cuz activation charge is $30 per phone. ( that was a side issue). I got a BOGO but had to add a line. I did... he said I could drop my daughters line as she was going to use the new line,so I wouldn't have a ghost line (that I would be paying extra for.) We determined what line was going to be dropped. (We went over this several times.) So our phone came in, we activated them, went into a store to have the extra line my daughters old line removed and she said you have to call customer service. So I did. They told me I cannot drop that line because the IDIOT attached the BOGO sale to the line we were dropping!!! So I am unable to drop that line, I called and spoke to the loyalty department (after I created a case with another rep about the issue in which NO ONE contacted me,) she promised me someone would call within 3 days. Yea right! that loyalty rep again "promised" his supervisor would call. Yea right! No one ever called. Another loyalty rep I spoke with said go into a corporate location and they will take back the phones (within the 14 day return period) .. and re sign up with the proper BOGO attached the right number, so I can finally drop the extra line. Of course there is an open box fee ($45) that she could not waive because it was a Sunday and a manager wasn't working. (Of course) she then proceeded to say that that day was the 14 th day of the return period. She had the nerve to say call customer service and have them put a note in your file to extend the grace period. Yea right! I got about 6 different answers form different reps, Att sucks at customer service NO ONE REALLY CARES even when they are the ones that made the initial mistake. The thing is I pointed out to the first IDOT that the wrong number was attached to the BOGO as I signed the terms and conditions, he told me to ignore that it doesn't matter . yea right!!! read more

Since everything started at this store I will continue my review here. I have never had worse service from a corporation. I had spoken to an AT&T rep and worked out a reduction in what I owed and a payment plan. Now, out of no where I get a notice from a collection agency. Absolutely terrible customer service and abusive staff. My husband spent an hour on the phone with ATT to close my late father in law's account and move my mother in law over to our family plan. We only had to go in store to complete the transaction and show them a copy of the death certificate. The store manager Allie seemed to think that this was too complicated and we were unprepared even though we had all the documents that ATT told us we needed over the phone. She refused to listen to us, was unsympathetic and threatened to call the police when my husband asked if he could see her work badge (so he could follow-up with corporate regarding her service). What's worse was my 4 year old daughter and mother in law were there to witness her outburst, which we feel may have been racially motivated(my husband is Hispanic). Needless to say we will be taking our account (15+ years in good standing) to Verizon or another competitor. read more

AT&T I have 3 words for these companies... HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING What is supposed to be customer service is nonexistent. The agents are stupid, idiots and constantly hang up on you. I called about 4 times trying to solve the problem of my internet not working. Each time they couldn't find my account then hung up. This guy, Jeffery Izzo came to my apartment, in super salesman mode. All excited to have me have AT&T internet. He hooked up this device called a Home Base. Don't trust him, he's a scammer. When I told the agents on the phone that his was the device that wasn't working, all I got was a "Duh" response like they didn't know what I was talking about. I got asked stupid questions, my SS #, a Pin #, address, phone number on the account and still couldn't find an account. There is no excuse for this terrible service. Jeffery Izzo wanted us to change our cell phones over to AT&T get all our business to that I say NO!! The agents are incompetent, stupid and will waste your time. DO NOT EVER HAVE AT&T!!! We are going to be forced to find another internet provider even though it costs more. AT&T SUCKS!! Dirctv is now owned by AT&T. Used to be DirecTV had outstanding customer service. Now that they've hooked up with AT&T that's gone right down the tubes. I was scheduled to have an installation of Directv on Saturdy Oct 28. We got email, text, voicemails, phone calls confirming this appointment. The installation was supposed to be between 12pm and 4pm. My wife kept calling to see where the tech was and was told he was on his way. HE NEVER SHOWED UP!! When I called to complain, the told me that there was no tech in the area. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! They DIDN'T CARE that you were without services. The next day they said they have available was November 1. I told them I'm not sitting around staring at the walls. Finally I yelled at them so much that they gave me an installation date of Monday Oct. 30. It took soo many phone calls, being hung up on multiple times. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY AGENT WHEN THEY ASK FOR A NUMBER IN CASE YOU GET DISCONNECTED THEY'LL CALL YOU BACK. THEY NEVER, EVER, CALL YOU BACK!!! You'll be left in limbo. Also don't allow them to put you on hold. You'll be on hold for a long time, without anyone coming back. Then all of a sudden the call will hang up. This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced!! The big shots don't care... Unfortunately, every experience I've had at this store has been rude. condescending treatment. Literally had "salesman" walk away from me mumbling. Just yesterday I wanted to get a new device, which was actually in stock. I was told I could not have it for the price listed online & they couldn't take online orders. Hmmm. Well I called ATT & I got the phone for the price I wanted with all my fees waived. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. ya'll are selling electronic devices, right? I will NEVER step foot in your store again. How sad this treatment is allowed & apparently condoned. When I asked why I couldn't get online price the person answered me "I just told you why" WHOA! What? I'm not sure who runs this store, but it's a sad sad reflection. This is why ATT customers are leaving. I almost did, powered thru & AT&T was redeemed. But not thru the store. If your thinking of getting a new device this store can be for browsing, but lord don't try getting any actual service. read more
