1 star. I brought my phone in for a back screen repair. The technician named Kenny took it to the back without ever confirming what I needed or examining the phone in front of me, then told me it'd be 30 minutes. When I picked it up, he had repaired the front screen which was already fine and left the back screen, the actual problem, untouched. It became an even bigger headache from there. The repair somehow got tangled up with my phone insurance claim, and I've spent hours trying to sort it out. I would not recommend this shop. Confirm exactly what they're fixing, in writing, before you hand over your device. read more

This review is for a warranty replacement for my glass protector. In and out in just a few minutes with excellent service by the gentleman behind the desk. It was such an easy process. No logging in or proof of purchase or anything. For $10 they actually put the new protector on which is so much better than waiting a week to get it shipped to you and having to put in on yourself. I recently went here to get my iphone screen repaired. When I got my phone back it had a notification that would not go away saying that I had a non genuine apple display in my phone along with that not even an hour after I picked up my phone it randomly cracked from me sitting with it in my pocket while driving (something that i've done hundreds of times). I decide to take the phone back not even 24 hours later and they say there is nothing they can do for the phone and it's not a big deal that I have a non genuine apple part in my phone giving me a notification that will never go away. read more

Update: Beware of this shop. They fix the phone and say that you will have a full refund if it is not the right fix. Then when it inevitably breaks again (within the same day in my case) they give you a partial refund, charging you $40 for the labor that didn't fix your actual problem. Nice way to make money off of customers. They don't stand by their work, I wonder if charging for labor and not fixing the problem is part of their money-making scheme. read more

Really horrible service!! I went in to get a screen repaired. I was told it would be 2 hours. Because I didn't have a phone I asked for me to be emailed when it was ready. They didn't. I was left without a phone for 24 hours. When I went in a day later to check on the status because I have not received their email, I was told by "David" who wouldn't give me his full name or employee id that I had been emailed. I checked all my folders and there was nothing. He also refused to offer a discount for the delay. I asked him if he cared about the customer service he was giving and he said, "No. He didn't because it wasn't his job to care." I recommend never entering foot in this location. As for other locations, I would be wary of others. I would give zero stars if there was such a rating. read more

This location is sucks. They are not affiliated with the other locations. If you got work done at another location, they do not honor the warranty. In my case that is 50-55 mile drive to the location I got my screen fixed at originally. I'll take my business else where for future screen repairs. But the Chandler location has amazing customer service. read more

DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT go and get anything fix here. These people do not stand by their work just a complete waste of time and will then say the product cannot be fixed after the miss it up. I brought in my Ps4 to get the Hdmi port replaced which I thought was an easy fix if you have the right tools (YouTube it before hand). My first trip I got it done paid $110 for the repair everything was fine they said they TESTED IT OUT IN THE BACK. I get home and the Ps4 is not working with no display. I call and tell them the ps4 wasn't fixed and is not working. I drive back there handed them my console mind you if it was fixed in the first place there's a monitor right up front that they can prove me wrong. They take my ps4 in the back, come back out and say the outlet has been pulled out of place mind you I saw at the port was completely fine before hand. In order for that port to get pulled out there is no way pulling the wire would do that. THEY pulled it out then tried to blame me for it and wanted me to pay again for it. Which I wasn't going to because it was never fixed. THIS WAS A POOR JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE. I leave my ps4 over night since they say that they can fix it free of charge after I flipped out. They got it "fixed"never mentioned that this job anything could go wrong which if that was the cases I would take it somewhere else or see my other options. I get the ps4 they tested it everything's "fine". 10 days later after using the product the haven't moved my ps4 or touched the wires it all of a sudden doesn't work "CHEAP JOB REPAIR". I go back for the 3rd time to get it fixed and ask to speak to the store owner due to the fact that they wanted me to pay for their CHEAP JOB that did even hold up the first time. After telling them I'll file a claim & requesting a refund they finally agreed to get it done. 1 hour later they called me which I had a feeling they'd do and tell me that it's completely broken and that there's no fixing it. These people are saying they can repair things when they can't hold up their end of the work in the first place if you want to save yourself a headache DON'T go there. read more

I have now had my screen repaired here twice with no issues and they did it in under 2hrs both times. Do not use this business, unless you want an expensive paperweight. Spent $130 and within 2 weeks my phone no longer worked at all. Brought my iPhone5 in to have the screen replaced as it was bowing outwards. Dropped off the phone for their price of just under $100. Got a call soon after saying they also had to replace the battery - it was swelling (likely causing the screen to bow) and could explode. That would be another $30 or so. Picked up the phone the following week, paid the $130 and put it right back in its protective case. I had it for about two weeks before one night I plugged it in and it got very hot. The next day it wouldn't turn on at all. Brought the phone back into CPR, they said it was covered under warranty but they wouldn't have the part (new battery) in until the following week. Came in the following week to pick it up only to find a cryptic note. When the only employee in the store made some phone calls to find out what happened he said that there was water damage and all but accused me of dropping it in water. When I told him it had not been near water and asked him if it showed those signs the first time I dropped it off he assured me it did not and that they follow a very specific checklist. This phone was in a protective case and nowhere near water in the two weeks after I got it back. I can see how it may have had moisture get inside when the screen was bowed, before I brought it in the first time, but not after that as it was in its case and nowhere near water or moisture. I'm guessing those signs were likely there the first time but CPR was either lazy/incompetent and missed it, or they wanted my $130 so they ignored it. Take your pick. read more

Fixed my iPhone 4s that was not charging. Took it there at 4:30 on a Friday. Had it back by noon on Saturday. The port needed to be replaced. Cost very resemble. People friendly. I like the logo. Store looks sharp and clean unlike some places that resemble a junk yard out of star wars. But don't worry, I know I need a new phone one of these days soon. I took my phone here a little over a week ago after inadvertently breaking off the tip of an auxiliary input which then became unretrievably lodged into the bowels of my iPhone 6S's audio jack. After taking my phone to Verizon (couldn't help), Apple (told me I'd need to purchase a new phone), a jewelry repair store (charged me $30 for labor but to no avail), and to one of CPR's competitors who wanted to charge me $50 more for the same exact repair, I took my phone to the CPR located on Central and Thomas. Despite being a walk-in customer, they fixed my phone in less than 1 hour and for a very reasonable price. I was impressed by their friendly customer service and efficient and effective repair job. I've been to the CPR in scottsdale at the Talking Stick shopping plaza (and wrote a review for it as well) and I was blown away by the service. This location? Not so much. I took a galaxy s5 in for a screen repair. IT WAS $225!!!!!!!! My iPhone costed $97 last time. The guy at the counter said it would be about 40 minutes to an hour, so I went to the sushi place next door. He called me about an hour later to ask me if I had problems with my home button and I said no. He then told me he was trying to fix it and it would be another 30-40 minutes and that he would call me when it's done. 40 minutes go by and it's 7PM. I realized they close at 7PM so I closed out my check and walked over. It was 7:05 EXACTLY and the door was locked. I knocked on the door several times pretty loud and no answer. No answer on the phone either. I finally called the next day to see what had happened and they just simply told me yes, the phone was ready. I was pretty upset at this point because I didn't have a car and didn't live in downtown. I just happened to be in the area so I fixed my phone there. It was VERY inconvenient to have to find a ride to central PHX to pick up my phone. Especially since I was traveling that day and had to be at the airport. I asked the gentleman at the counter why I didn't get a call when it was ready and all he could say was "I called you earlier and said it would be 30-40 mins." I was expecting a call when it was FINISHED so I didn't have to wait in the empty, bland store. All I got was a sorry. The last place gave me a free tempered glass screen protector. I gave it 2 because the screen did get fixed, but for a very hefty price and terrible customer service. read more

I went to the Central Ave location today. I need a Verizon cell phone. Mine was damaged and I was using an old verizon phone, it worked with my SIM card, but had bad service as it was old. I was told they had Verizon cell phones that would work with my existing SIM card. I chose a Samsung and paid for it up front. We put in the SIM card, but it would not register, they said it had a bent pin. We tried another Samsung, it wouldnt work. Was offered an iphone, but had to take it to Verizon to have a SIM card swap done. I asked for a refund at this point. They ran my card back through to issue the refund and I left. After several hours I checked my account and no refund has posted. Called the store and was advised that the refund would be 2 to 3 business days. $162.90 on hold for a total of 19 minutes of time when they couldnt even give me a working phone.
