Visited the AT&T store as we have 3 phone lines with the provider. All 3 lines, are experiencing intermittent issues where when speaking using the headset or speaker function, the party in which we're communicating are unable to hear us. Prior to coming to the store, the issue was addressed via the chat/support function on the website at least 4 different times over a two week period. We had an appointment and was immediately greeted at the door by a very friendly and polite representative, who introduced himself as, Ugo. Ugo showed us where to sit and obtained our identification so he could verify the account. Ugo asked a number of questions, as a means of identifying or narrowing down potential reasons for the connectivity issues. Additionally, he switched out the SIM card for each device explaining why, to include our devices now use eSIM cards. After attempting to verbally troubleshoot the issue, Ugo, like the online chat support representatives indicated, deduced there may be tower issues near our home as to why we're experiencing the connectivity issues. While we didn't test the devices in the store, (as it was unlikely there would be issues), we took the devices home and tested them periodically with different calls. Unfortunately, the issues continue to persist. But, as a customer service representative, Ugo is top tier! Throughout the interaction, Ugo's demeanor never wavered. His smile and personality made the frustration we are experiencing less frustrating just by his pleasantries. read more

This is the WORST STORE EVER! They deserve 0 stars! The customer service is atrocious, they lie and are rude. I never write reviews but I am so frustrated that I feel obligated to warn other people. NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE! They should go out of business. It took me four hours to upgrade a phone. They showed me the phone and then went into the back for 45 minutes and kept telling me to wait. I then had to leave to pick up a child and then came back within the hour. They made me wait there for another 45 minutes and then told me they didn't have the phone anymore! They swore that they did not do anything in my account and it would be fine and I had to go down the street to a different ATT store. The next store looked into my account and told me that Austin (the manager at the Woodholme ATT store) had already activated the previous phone (that he sold to someone else) so the new store could NOT upgrade me. They stole my upgrade and I am now unable to get a phone that works. They are horrible! Literally the WORST! I never write reviews because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and this is the worst store ever! Austin is the manager. He is unhelpful and the people who work there are completely incompetent. DO NOT GO! I have been an ATT customer for over 25 years and have been suffering through the challenges of this store since they opened. A combination of my daughter wanting an upgrade and my own FOMO landed us here at this location. Upon our arrival the doors were locked and the manager on duty was taking one customer in the store at a time since he was the only one on duty. Let me tell y'all about the Manager Tarrell. ON POINT!! He was very professional and personable. His knowledge base and ability recall accurate information without having to use his tablet was impressive. With other customers waiting outside the store to be serviced, he took his time was very attentive and I did not feel rushed along or pressured to make a decision in haste. I'm sure most of us experience upgrade anxiety and don't want to walk out with and get a surprise car note attached to their next bill. He broke down the numbers in great detail and even backed up and repeated himself when he saw me drifting off the deep end, lol. Tarrell took me through a pretty seamless process of getting me out of my iPhone 7 and into the top of the line iPhone 11 MaxPro, he even found me a promotion that fit perfectly for my situation and saved me a couple hundred bucks. My overall experience at this location today was outstanding. Hand sanitizer and wipes were available and masks were worn the entire time. He's the Manager for a reason so I'd definitely ask for Tarrell for all of your cell phone needs, he's very THOROUGH!! read more

Last week I was helped at this store. I have been here many times but, this time was very different. The help was amazing! Julian assisted my mom whose not very tech savy but, was patient and knowledgable. He was also very funny and helped us get the best bang for our buck. We did not feel rushed or that he was annoyed. Going on an hour wait to get a representative to wait on us. They need to work on how to be more efficient. Each appointment seems to take almost an hour. No sense of urgency by the staff. There must be a better way to handle customer requests. Watching the staff work with customers in the most inefficient way is mind-boggling. Would never return ever. read more

I only give this store one star because I have to, they deserve none. I went into the store to upgrade my iPad the customer service from Ashley was ok, nothing stellar. I returned three days later to trade in my old pad and again ok service. The sales associate Matthew take my iPad and tells how well I kept and stated that I would receive an 85 dollar credit to my account. 2 weeks later still no credit. Here's the fishy part, my account is then used to order a brand new iPhone 6plus 256 gb. I just happened to get a email stating "your phone is on its way". What phone, I didn't order anything. So I call Att and they refer me to the fraud department. The fraud Dept tells me that they noticed suspicious activity on the account since the date I visited when I turned in the old iPad. They noted the exact store that I had visited and states "someone must of used you information when you were in the store"Thankfully I caught that. I then inquired about this credit I was supposed to receive. I was told we can't help you, you have to visit the store. So I went to the store after calling to speak to a managers. I arrived to the store to speak with Chris. He tells me that the credit will appear next month. When I inform him of the phoned ordered on my account and the information that the fraud dept gave me, he could care less. If I ran a business and I was I formed that fraudulent activity may be taken place in my establishment I would more than concerned. He didn't even care. I have been with ATT wireless since they were Alltel and I'm here to tell you that service and security has really gone down hill. i went to this store on january 22, 2021. i went to purchase a new phone and had a conversation with a store manager. we then discussed directv streaming service. i was informed that i could try this service for 2 weeks and be billed $7.20, if i returned the streaming box my $7.20 would be refunded, but he did not inform me that he was signing me up for streaming service in the amount of $148.69. on february 7, at&t took this money from my account without my knowledge and now they dont want to return my money and everytime i go to this store i'm getting the run around, go figure. i will no longer do business with this location any more. and i'm ready to kick at&t to the gutter. read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. My experience at this store was quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I am 60 years old. My husband and I spent 2.5 hours in the store last night trying to upgrade my phone. We were lied to about how much trade in we would get for my old phone, and weren't told the truth until after they processed my credit card. Took them over an hour to figure out how to reverse what they had done. Then they gave us a receipt for a different customer, so I don't know if they actually processed the refund or not. Told us we needed to call ATT to get a phone. I called ATT from the store, ATT could not help me because the idiots at the store could not reverse things and the computer was saying I had already done the upgrade. Spent 3 hours on the phone with ATT this morning, no luck. ATT says I need to go to a corporate store. This store told me they were not a corporate store. ATT tells me that they are. More lies. While we were there another customer came in furious because they had lied to her the week before and she had just gotten her phone bill and discovered that she was being charged $850 more than what the store employees had told her. Save yourself and your sanity, do not go to this store. - update - I have now spent a total of 10 hours on the phone with ATT trying to fix the mistakes the store made yesterday, still on hold, still trying. My wife and I arrived at the AT&T Pikesville, MD store last Saturday 10/28/17 at 4 PM and found it to be very busy/crowded. There was a 60 minute wait time so we opted to schedule an in-store appointment for 5:30 PM. After running some errands, we returned at 5:20 PM and waited for our 5:30 PM appointment as shown on the in-store display kiosk. 20 minutes pass (5:40 PM) and I had to ask the store manager Manny what was the delay in getting attended to for our 5:30 PM appointment. He said that they would get to me right away. After waiting another 25 minutes (to 6:05 PM while he and his assistant store manager attended to walk-ins) I became irate and expressed my displeasure with the lack of timely service (Waiting over 35 minutes for a 5:30 PM appointment) and lack of recognition by his store management team. Their utter disregard and disrespect for our time and patience coupled with Store Manager Manny's unwillingness to provide the contact information of his area sales manager (He said he would not give it to me and that I would have to call customer service if I wanted to complain) left us so disgusted with this store that we departed as completely DISSATISFIED and empty-handed customers. We have been loyal AT&T customers for well over 20 years and this experience at the AT&T Pikesville, MD store has been ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY AT&T ENTITY!!! If I was able to give zero stars I would. They have not honored my BOGO deal. I have been dealing with this issue for almost two years. I have been in constant contact with AT&T via phone, email and several trips to the store. What I was able to find out from AT&T business is that I have to go to the store to fix the problem because it was their error. First, the manager Q was suppose to fix the issue, no response after. Then I was in touch with the manager James W. who stated he would fix the issue. when I emailed James twice with no response. I went back to the store and was told he transferred to another store. Does that give him a right to ignore my emails?? I told Vicky that I no longer want to speak to a manager I need the District manager information. She stated she don't have that information, there was no managers in the store and will not be any managers in the store at all that day. However, it's mighty funny she went to speak with someone before she came back and told me this information. She stated I would get a call from a manager the next day. it has now been an additional five days and no response. This was the worst attempt of customer service I had ever received. I'm sorry I didn't mean to say attempt because that would only imply that the staff tried to be kind courteous and professional. They were everything but, in particularly the manager and one of his associates. After I dropped my iPhone 5C and the screen shattered, I went to this AT&T store to have a new phone activated that my friend lent me. Once it became clear to the salesgirl that I wasn't there to purchase anything, she completely lost interest in helping me. In the end, she did activate my new phone, but she kept awkwardly turning her back to me and walking away without any explanation (?). And of course, she still tried to sell me stuff while she was working on my phone (I guess the salespeople are required to do that with every customer, regardless of why the customer is there?). She did open the door for me as I was leaving, which was nice, but by that point she had her face buried in her *own* phone and was entirely too preoccupied with that to say goodbye or anything. She made me feel like I was more of an inconvenience to her than a customer. All in all, I was really disappointed with my experience. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I lost my phone and had to have a new phone activated. I called customer service and they advised me to go to the store for in-person assistance. Upon arriving i was greeted and advised someone would be with me momentarily. After waiting 10 minutes i asked again for help and they went to the back to get someone to help me. After going nowhere I spoke with Aleem who was the on duty manager who was worse than the first person. After hearing enough phrases such as "Listen to what I am telling you" and "I can only go by what I have on my pad here" I decided Aleem was going to be no help i left the store and after 12 years of using ATT it is time to re-evaluate my options. The fact that the highest level of personnel in the store let a 12 year customer leave the store voicing that due to the level of service I received would be canceling their service specifically because of how they were treated in the store shows the type of people they are employing at this location. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE. THIS WAS THE SECOND ENCOUNTER THAT WAS TERRIBLE. THE FIRST INSTANCE I BOUGHT A NEW PHONE AND HAD THEM TRANSFER MY DATA AND THEY LOST ALL OF MY CONTACTS AND PICTURES THEN TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO RETRIEVE IT SINCE THEY ALREADY RESET MY OLD PHONE. read more
