So Ive gone to here back and forth. I would need to alert that the review is a combination of Verizon wireless itself and the store. So the store is limited as to what it can do for a customer eventhough it is a corporate store. Verizon service is not up to par. I was told that I needed to purchase a new phone because my phone was not keeping service after several times on the phone and visits to this store. I purchased a new phone to have it do the same thing. Poor service and dropped calls. Verizon service has declined tremendously. I am stuck in 3 years basically or pay out $900. Its really nice folks in the corporate store but be mindful you could be sitting waiting awhile before seen. I recently had to make 4 trips into the Verizon store concerning my phone being deactivated daily. A wonderful young man named "Matty" helped me speak with someone in financial services each time. This is a review about this young person who was patient, kind, and very respectful. As an older adult, I appreciate top-notch customer service when I encounter it and for this he receives 5 stars. Came here to dispute and discuss bill items that were not normal. Wanted to speak with a person directly and not customer service over the phone. Also had some phone questions -- issues and new phone questions. Luckily Brittney was the person ready to assist us. She's a manager at the store, very friendly and very helpful and made a suggestion with regards to the phone issue to switch out the SIM card, which was not something I had thought of previously to fix the problem at hand. Got some general recommendations for 5G phones, and specifics and why her choice was one based on seeing limited customer problems or returns. Gave me food for thought. On a side note, this Verizon store was well set up with social distancing signs all over the floor and various stations with plexiglass set up for assisting customers with needs. The sales rep was trying to help and then when we realized that the online rep had screwed up, he threw up his hands and went ghost. Verizon in general - not this store. The company offered $200 in Visa gift cards for signing up for the new Gigabit internet service. Available 60 days after opening account. I received an email saying my rewards are now eligible and to click the link in the email, log into my account, and click the Reward tiles. The Reward tiles are not available even several days after the email and my eligibility date. I have tried calling, chatting and wasted a couple hours. Oct 26th: I TRIED Fios Verizon for cable TV and regret it emmensely!. On Oct 27th, the tech came to my house set up TV, I already had internet for 89.99/month for almost a year. Verizon TV quality is real bad. Myveriozn TV was set uo bu i home tech on Oct 27th, However, what's really bad is on Oct 28th when they sent signato add adiitonal channel it blew my 75 in TV of 6 month out to a blank screen became blank. Went here a new case. VERY busy store, but was waited on promptly. I must admit, the price of the "covered" accessory item, was 25% higher than I could get the item on Amazon....brand new as well. . That was with our 20% discount. So lesson there, I will still rely on my tried and true Verizon store for other things. However covers, cases, keyboards for my tablet....all that kind of stuff. John & Joey are completely unprofessional!! Joey signed me in while he's assisting a customer. Myself & my friend used the facilities while waiting to be assisted. Two customers left & we patiently waited for someone to call for us. Unfortunately, 5-10 additional minutes passed & John & Joey (who we're not assisting a customer did not tend to us). My male friend alerted them of my needs & desire to purchase a new phone, but was told they were dealing with "an issue", on their iPads. When he informed me of their response, I said I would try my bubbly charm to receive proper service, yet I was told the same dry & rude response of "we are dealing with an ISSUE"! Both John & Joey held badges that read "managers", so I felt it would be a waste to ask for a manager. Toni (a customer specialist) tried to interject but at this time Joey was threatening to call the police after I told him he was a "waste". Both John & Joey we're unprofessional, as they refused to assist an in-store store versus an online."virtual" issue, which I pointed out. I repeatedly stated in store money is guaranteed while online purchases or a similar issue are not. Joey & John should not have manager status nor should they work in the field of customer service. I consider myself a pretty patient and forgiving customer however the service at this Verizon was too terrible. The wait wasn't too bad, around 15 minutes. However, unless there is a rule in which the Verizon staff are not allowed to talk about the features of their phones and I don't know about it, I found it extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional that the woman "helping" us refused to run through the salient differences between the three phone models I was considering. While I know that "every thing is listed online", and people have different priorities. it can be helpful to learn about what are the MAJOR, important, and most noticeable differences rather than being told "it's all personal preference." read more

Got there during dinner time and had no wait. I'm always such a sucker when my contract is up. (like the time I bought the Chocolate phone because they were piping the smell of chocolate into the store and were giving away flippin chocolate bars) I knew what phone I wanted and Marc was awesome helping me get what I needed. Incredibly disappointed with the service at this Verizon store. We have been Verizon customers for more than 10 years, but this experience is enough to make us want to leave. The reviews are correct, the wait is long and we came in more than an hour before close expecting to wait. My sister needed a simple iPhone upgrade and we knew exactly what we wanted (didn't want to drag things out in the store). I had visited another Verizon store a few weeks ago and made the same exact upgrade with no issue. The store was not busy (4-5 customers) but the staff was moving at snail's pace. We waited, didn't complain, and watched as customers were helped with switching networks, upgrading devices, and activation and content transfer assistance. This is where things went really downhill. Although the staff was using an online appointment tracker to help guests in the order that they arrived, we started to notice that some guests were being served well before us despite coming in after us. I doubt Verizon makes appointments at 30, 15, or 10 minutes before close, so it was clear that certain customers were given preferential treatment. We were finally called over at 7:55 (5 minutes before close). Julian was an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with. It was clear he wanted to leave and frankly we didn't intend to take up much of his time, but he did not discuss our phone plan at all with us and would not help us transfer or activate the phone. He simply handed us the box and said "you can do this at home". He said that Verizon no longer assists with activation or content transfer and that the "courtesy service" stopped "about 2 months ago" When we asked about trading in her old phone he told us to come back another time to do it. I know nothing about my new plan, walked away paying close to $75 more than I wanted to due to his refusal to do a trade in, and plan to take this experience up with corporate in the morning. If Julian did not have time to serve us completely, I would have preferred he ask us to come back at another time. If my sister did not need the new phone for a trip tomorrow, I would have gone to another store. So disappointed that he was able to make the sale. read more

Three stars may not seem like many, but for a Verizon Wireless store, I'd say that's the most I'll probably ever give. This location was helpful and much more efficient than the location I typically visit in Timonium; I was provided with service within ten minutes and back in my car within fifteen. The woman I worked with was very helpful and accommodating, but I could tell that this was probably not the case for everyone. More than one other customer seemed very confused with new plans/ phones and the service technicians were not doing a very good job of explaining anything to them. I was frustrated for my fellow customers for their experiences, but more frustrated with the fact that there were four Verizon workers greeting people walking through the door and helping them sign in, while all of the customers stood there waiting for service. All in all, most of my frustrations were typical of any Verizon Wireless experience. The location was better than most in regards to its relative efficiency on a Saturday morning and I'd say if you're sick of the Timonium location, you should give this one a try. read more

I went in today to upgrade an iPhone. Employee was extremely unfriendly and instructed me to log on to guest wireless and back up my phone on cloud . The wifi in the store was so weak I couldn't do a back up on my old phone. That didn't stop the unfriendly employee from letting me sit there for 15 minutes waiting for my phone to back up. It's not that it's a bad store per se, it's just slow. I was in a rush and needed to get my phone number transferred onto a new phone. I came a few minutes after opening and the store was already packed. Mind you this wasn't after the launch of a new iphone. The greeter was friendly enough and took down my info and I started waiting. I looked around at the phones, played angry birds on a new lg phone. And waited. I connected to the WiFi, got my email. And waited. I looked at the various accessories And just kept on waiting. It took over a half hour until someone was available to help me. It turns out i didn't even need to come into the store at all in the first place and then gave me the number to call. Now I get that I could call the number, but once I'm already in the store, they can't just change my number in front of me? So, overall a frustrating experience, it would of been nice to have been told I didn't need to come in, or at the very least reward my patience. read more

Danielle walked over to us and never introduced herself and clearly had an attitude from the beginning. I was looking at the new Pixel phone and that's all she focused on and walked away. Wouldn't offer to talk with me about the phone itself just insisted we talk about plans. Gave me a lot of attitude when I asked questions and I think even rolled her eyes at one point. This place is PHONY!!! They advertise one thing and it ends up being another!!! Customer service is a joke, ESPECIALLY DANIELLE and their manager is too!!! I came in on launch day for the iPhone X and they had it in stock which was great...since no one else had it!!! I felt good because I really wanted the phone and Xfinity did not get their shipment. Anywho, their deal for trade in was a LIE , as I was quoted $120 and ended up getting $60 and NO ONE told me!!! I called Verizon customer service and the lady was great, but...she then called the manager of the store and she all but said I was lying about the trade in I was offered!!! WHO DOES THAT?!!?!!!!!????!!! Although the X is a nice phone but hangs up the call every time I place my ear to the receiver...yeah and it's a $1000 phone and I didn't catch the hype and wanted to exchange it for the 8+ and the same dry ass representative that sold me the phone said I had to pay a restocking fee!!! David went above and beyond in assisting me with replacing my broken phone. I was in and out with what I needed in a reasonable amount of time. The store is clean and bright, the employees are helpful, the wait wasn't too long, and there is plenty of parking. The only issue I had was that they have a phone on their counter that people call regularly. The ringer on it is set to max volume, so it is almost deafening when people call. Came here a month ago wanting to switch from T-Mobile. Unfortunately, the one who attended to us was a lady named Khadesha who had major attitude and looked extremely disinterested to do her job. The quote she gave us was too expensive so we decided to just stick around with T-Mobile for awhile. A month later, we went back to this store since it's close to home to ask to see the numbers again and she(just plain luck we got her again) tells us over and over " I just gave them to you, you should still have it. I don't know why you're asking again cause I just gave it to u." WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received! Kadisha the sales rep had no interest or concern for me or my questions. Did not introduce herself and had no care for the fact that I had been shipped a broken phone. Once she reset my phone informing me she does this all day, (which was no help to me to learn the process), she told me I was good to go. My phone was resetting and I had questions, but she stated there are 6 other people waiting. I informed her I waited for my turn like everyone else and she needed to stay with me. Upon informing her manager Chanel, that I needed her to stay with me; Chanel told her to move on. So I asked to speak to Chanel. Chanel told me yes, she told her to move on as they had other customers who needed help and my device may take a while to update. When I informed her it was thanks to customers like myself who dropped hundreds of dollars, which provides them jobs. She promptly told me "we have plenty of busy coming through our doors. I had to wait 45 min and then I got skipped and had to go to a manager then he told me I need to wait for a staff member to do the exchange. I went to this location of Verizon Wireless with an iPhone stuck on the apple logo...and not able to reset it. I did have to wait for quite a while, which is why I can't give it five stars, but as we all know, it's par for the course. Especially on a Saturday. You just have to wait...there's no way around it. The greeter was very courteous and tried to help me avoid waiting in line by seeing if he could quickly fix the issue. When it wasn't possible, I waited my turn and was attended to by Raynard who was both very polite and technically competent. He recognized that they wouldn't be able to deal with the issue at the Verizon store, but that the Apple store would be able to, and so even though he couldn't fix it, he was very good at explaining the issue and why he had to refer me to the Apple store.
