Went to AT&T store on Rt 41 in Port Charlotte after going to a third party AT&T store on king's highway and finding out our bill wasn't matching up with what we were told, we were sent to the corporate store on 41. within 5 minutes an employee by the name of Chandace assisted us. She was very concerned over our situation and was extremely professional and helpful. She asked us to give her an opportunity to reach her manager and make it right. The next day she got back to us that we had been credited everything that was told to us that had been charged. We will be forever thankful for her and her dedication and caring of her customers. We have been using the AT&T on 41 for the last 20 years and only went to the new one on king's highway out of convenience but have found out that honorable and caring service is worth the drive. Can't say enough about Chandace and how absolutely awesome she is and grateful we are. She was turning a bad situation into a good one and is an asset to AT&T. We are glad she will be around for us in the near future. read more

I will never return to this location again. I showed up an emergency situation where I needed a brand new phone. The salesman was unfriendly. I asked him to transfer over all of my data because I am not good at things like this. The salesman told me that I had to transfer all of my data over by myself then proceeded to try to sell me the most expensive thing in the store. I decided to go with the regular iPhone 12 which I do love. But unfortunately, while I was trying to transfer all of my data there was an issue that had a rise, and my phone was down For six hours. I had returned to the store quite unhappy and the salesman was trying to make a joke out of it. I did not offer much of a solution other than just transferring of my data. I had made a comment about the fact that my phone did not come with a wall plug and maybe he could help me out with that either by giving me one for free or discounting it for the fact of all the trouble that I went through. He continued to laugh and said there was nothing he could do.I will never return to the store. If I could give them a negative rating they would get a -10 star rating because this place absolutely sucks in the employee was horrible. I asked to speak to a manager once again he had laughed and said there was not one in the building. I had asked when with there be a manager and he said he did not know I am extremely unhappy. I got a coupon for "Run Disney" participants for 30% off an accessory so I emailed Run Disney to find out how to use the coupon and they said to take it to the AT&T store. The manager of the AT&T store couldn't honor the coupon because she couldn't find the code. So she asked me call the customer service number, so I did and they asked me to give the store manager a phone number to call. I'm now into this for 30 minutes at this point and the manager called into the call center and again explained the terms of the coupon. In my head I am now giving myself a time limit for this ridiculousness and I'm benchmarking myself at 1 hour. I did ask the manager if she had the autonomy to make a decision regarding a discount and she said "No because I have to find out which accessories apply." After I had been I the store for 45 minutes the "manager" tells me that I have to contact Disney to get the discount. So I left with nothing. What's the point of having a manager if they can't even handle a situation or provide service for a customer? I've been a customer for 11 years with 5 lines and always pay on time so I guess I just thought they would have taken care of me. But I guess it's time to checkout the other carriers. read more

Have been calling automatically since 9am (it is now 1.45pm) and no-one answers the phone!! How can you be in business and not attend to customer needs let alone be a phone company that has a horror of answering a ringing one for 4+ hours!!!! I got a new phone 4 days ago and bought a glass screen protector that the guy put on for me, it didn't stick all the way to my phone and chipped on the edge, I went back to the store today and the guy would not replace it! And was very rude to me. That really makes me not want to go in there for anything again, and don't worry I will be telling everyone I know how I was treated in there!! read more

I recently upgraded my parents phones with the next program. I'm in WV where my parents are in FL. The customer service rep told my parents they couldn't pay on the cell bill with out paying off their phones first.... So my parents paid $1,300 for 2 phones because they were misinformed! This is absolutely ridiculous! How could a customer service rep take complete advantage of people like that! Michael H. You suck! You need to learn better customer service skills. read more

I recently switched from Verizon. The associate said that AT&T would pay up to $600 to brake the contract but failed to tell me I would have to pay out of pocket and than get reimbursed. While I was there to get our knew phones. So I paid it :( and gave him the total Verizon gave to cancel the lines. He wrote it down and said we would get it 6-8 weeks, so I'm waiting and I just wanted to follow up and called customer service. They told me that I had to go online and upload the bill that shows the amount I paid to brake the contract :( The associate never told me that. So I ask the customer service rep on the phone if there is a cut off time? Oh no there's not one. That didn't sit will with me so I checked on the website and yes there is a cut off time!! I got different answers from different people never the same answer. The associate didn't care about me getting my money back he just wanted a sale. I brought my family with me and we all got phones. And the people over the know don't even know what they are talking about. Meaning I get different answers for something that should be simple. Knowing what I know now I would of just stayed with Verizon. And if you do want to switch do your research and find out what the out of pocket cost is. And what the cut off time is for summiting the bill that you paid to cancel the phone lines. read more

I have their phone lines on my account but live in another state so could not help them. They do not know much about phones and how to do stuff. I will never go to that store again. I will probably change cell phone carriers when I get done paying for my phones. I went there a few months ago so they can help me transfer my pics from my old phone to my new phone that I just got from insurance company. When I opened the door, I saw about 4 sales people sitting around the same table, I guess waiting for customers, the first guy that ask me what I needed to me that he could not help me due to cdc guidelines, they have to limit their contact with customers. I do understand that but there were people in the store looking at phones. Why was I different? He just didn't want to help me out because he wasn't making money from me, all I needed was for my info to be transferred from one phone to the other. Also one of them could have helped me out with my phone, I could have stayed outside while they took my phone inside and did it for me. I was so angry, I just came home working as an RN, and nobody was willing to help me, even though I know they could have, they had customers in the store. They didn't think they were going to make money from me so they weren't willing to help. I will never go there again. They will lose a customer that has been with them for years. read more

My parents came in yesterday to buy an iPhone 8, iPhone X, and an Apple Watch. After almost an hour wait, they met with a saleswoman (can't remember her name - heavy-set girl with brown hair and long fake nails) who effectively talked them out of buying anything, due to her poor attitude and lack of knowledge about the products. if i could give a half star, i would, AT&T gives such terrible customer service, had to wait in line Twice for three Freaking hours to receive crappy help such as "oh we cant help you, CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE" they are suppose to be the customer service !!!! , they literally cant help you with anything unless it involves taking your money that day, i will never deal with this store again. read more
