Great service especially from Everleigh. Didn't have the iPhone color I wanted but service made up for it. We even travelled all the way from LA just to see her. Great value and price especially when trading in! Thanks for all your help Everleigh and Cody. You folks were very patient, answered all our burning questions, and took your time and provided extra info we wouldn't have otherwise known at a different location. I went into the AT&T store just to change my phone I chipped it and had insurance. ( in the past I have gone to other att corporate retailers no problem ) they don't even have the sticker on the door that says they're just a retail shop and not a corporate or affiliation with AT&T's corporate business. It's like a McDonald's. I got this information from the AT&T personnel. They talked me into paying off that phone instead of using insurance or even a trade in and getting a new phone because if I got the new phone, I would get a free iPad now after they got all my money in cash for my old phone over $700. Never offered a trade in They all of a sudden didn't have the iPad in stock and it was the it was like 7:55 and it was the last day of the promotion so they told me to call a number Then the number was fraudulent it wasn't a number to call and so I wasn't eligible for the iPad and they wouldn't honor anything and they gave me the wrong color I'm a senior citizen who got taken advantage of three guys pressuring me by myself in that store to do all this stuff. Give them all my money and not get my iPad. AT&T has no connection to this store. It is not a corporate store the corporate stores have power and they can fix anything if you go in there but if you go to the one on Masonic and Gary, you will not and if you have a problem it's not their fault and it's not AT&T's fault so you're just screwed read more

Go elsewhere for your phones!! Very suspect behavior at this location. Offered me a $1000 trade in for my iPhone. Got home after getting the new phone and realized they did not process the trade in credit. They refused to issue a trade in receipt for the old phone stating they were too busy after two days waiting even though there were three people working in the store and no customers. Called Security when I refused to leave the store without a receipt for my old phone. Finally got the old phone back from them and found out the trade in value was only $700 when I went to another AT&T store. Really very criminal behavior. read more

I am clueless about technology, and had an iPhone 7 that I finally decided to upgrade due to the small screen and difficulties in downloading some apps. I was assisted by Everleigh, who was excellent in every respect. She was patient with my complete ignorance, and explained anything that I didn't understand. It will take me a while to get used to my new phone, but I am very comfortable with thought of revisiting the store and asking for help from Everleigh. I went to this store based on the Yelp reviews, but now regret it. I wanted to take advantage of the ATT offer to give a rebate for my old phone. Initially, I was told by Cody (who is apparently the manager) that my phone did not qualify. After I insisted that it did, he eventually conceded that there was a rebate of $350, so I went ahead with the upgrade. After the data was transferred to the new phone (took about 90 minutes) he told me there was an offer that I could get an Apply watch "for 99cents"! I did not believe this and asked what was the catch and was told I had to purchase a data plan for the watch for $10/mo. When I asked how long I had to keep this plan, he said I could cancel as soon as I wanted. I countered that yes, I could but then I would have to make payments for the watch. He denied this, so I went ahead with the purchase. When I got home I found out the actual terms were that I had to pay 99cents/mo plus 10.99 for the data plan for 36 months, basically meaning I would pay $432 for a watch selling for about $330. I eventually returned the watch within the return period but was charged $55 by AT&T for a restocking fee even though I never used it. No excuse for this behavior and I filed a complaint with AT&T. As a bonus, when I went to return the watch, at 1:30pm on a Monday, I was greeted with a "back in 30 minutes" sign on the door (30 minutes from when? I wondered.) Well, apparently it was 30 minutes from when I arrived and after waiting I found out I could not even return the watch because Cody was not there and the other employee said they could not accept returns (which makes you wonder why they were even open for business). read more

After a truly awful experience at the Stonestown AT&T store, we went to this location. Night and day! This is the only AT&T store we'll ever go to again. Christian and Henil not only helped me and my wife setup a new phone and transfer numbers to new devices, but they also tag-teamed to greet and offer excellent service to several other customers. This is a tale of two blocks. We were trying to replace my fiancés iPhone and first went to AT&T's location at 3555 Geary and they were incompentant and rude and only after a 40 minute wait during which they tried to sell us TV and internet services they finally admitted they had no iPhone 14s in stock at all. We then went to their location at 2675 Geary and they were welcoming and professional and we got help right away. Angela was awesome! read more
