Came here for repairs on my iPad screen and my mobile phone and initially I was confused as the repair kiosk where I have previously been to was empty and vacated by the previous tenant. After inquiring around, I learned that Gadget Repair aka Gadget World (which has a kiosk near the main entrance also had their own shop directly across from the Shoe Palace. Upon entering I met Aktilek and his brother who were busy with customers waiting for their repairs to be completed. After showing him what needed to be done, he informed me that the repair for my iPad screen would take longer to do since the removal process of the screen is more complicated than fixing a mobile phone which normally takes 30-45 mins. Atilek replaced my phone screen that same day and I picked up my iPad the next day. Great service all around and enjoyed him helping out and explaining the repair process on my iPad. Highly recommend this shop as they do repairs and sell parts for mobile devices.

Broken contact

So they couldn't fix phone, because they didn't put it together properly and damaged the audio board. I spent 25 dollars for a another new cable and audio board and repaired it myself. They charged me 25 for the new cable and board they broke. See pic for damage contact on board. At least they opened the phone and didn't damage anything else I suppose...

Before

Picture says it all. Before and after. They charge me $270 for this. The manager / owner keep asking what's my expectations for the fix. Of course replace and cracked screen and return the ipad in its original condition. The screen is not fully fixed and now the ipad is bent also. Who in the world would expect a bent ipad as their service, if you cannot fix the screen without bending the ipad, then maybe call the customer and ask if that's ok before fixing?

SCAM...SCAM...SCAM!! If I could give them 0 stars I would!! I bought a case cover there and the salesman told me it was equivalent to the Otter Box. I ended up taking my phone to Apple store today (after the screen broke) and the "manager" of Gadget World refused to refund me!! They can't guarantee their products, but they will lie thru their teeth to sell that shit! Don't waste your money at this place like I did!! There is another kiosk 10 feet away that has better more protective phone cases!!!

Came in with a cracked screen. Left with a new screen that makes the phone look like new.

Lots of accessories but the clerk seems not able to introduce the difference of them. It's pity.

The gentleman who helped me was the best. I was terribly frustrated because my phone went kaflooey…read moreon me. The screen froze, so I couldn't phone, text, email, or do anything else that's important to me. I spent hours trying to unfreeze the phone. He asked what the problem was, and he fixed it in less than a minute. COMPUPOD is now my go to place before I start pulling my hair out. I'll also make it my go to place when it's time to replace my phone. Thank you so much for your fine service. ,

I've been coming here for about a year to service my PS5 and controllers, and up until recently,…read moreI've had positive experiences. The staff is usually helpful, and turnaround times are pretty quick. However, my last experience was really disappointing. I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.
