Worst service ever. We went in to get get the new iPhone 15 which we were eligible for upgrade we just had to pay off our other phones. The young lady who helped us said it would be better if we did our phone transfer in the store and it would be faster. Fast-forward three hours of her yelling at us because she couldn't figure out how to do it and the transfer said it was complete and none of our apps worked, and our Sim cards didn't work. Nothing worked and she yelled at us and said oh, it's not our fault it's corporate fault you know I know you guys are just being impatient. We've been there for three hours with our 10-year-old, who managed to hijack their TV and watch the entire home alone movie plus another documentary and the phones were still not working and so we ended up taking our old phones back getting our old Sim cards and walking out. Just furious I would never ever ever go back to the store again. The manager and her three coworkers were sitting at one table while we were at that point the only people in the store and they were completely ignoring us and we were there for three hours and 27 minutes. total waste of time do not go here. If I was the owner of this franchise I would fire every single one of them. My husband is a veteran and very patient and never raised his voice at the employee and she just yelled at him for a good 15 minutes because she was incapable of doing her job. After spending MANY hours trying and failing to get anything accomplished with at&t customer service and being told something different by everyone we talked to, we went into the Smithfield store and luckily got helped by Yashmine, who went above and beyond to make sure we got taken care of. We would probably still be getting thrown in circles if it weren't for her! She made sure our issues were resolved before we left. read more

My husband & I went to the sub AT&T to purchase a upgraded phone. We walked no one was there. About 3:00 on a Friday afternoon July 16. About 15 minutes after saying hello several times a young lady came out & spent several minutes looking for her iPad. No hello no welcome to AT&T nothing. I'm retired from AT&T and rage customer service was embarrassing. Finally she pulled up my account & we asked a question about our contact. She stated she coukdnt answer that because she had to go to another page on her iPad & she couldn't do that!? I said yiu can't back up a page? Really? She finally got the information and read it soo fast yiu couldn't understand her. She was so mad like we truly interrupted her day. The only thing she didn't do was roll her eyes at us. We said ya know? Keep it! We will drive 30 to Garner to a real AT&T store. Then the manager jumped up wanting to help.Tooo late! This was Premier or something like that store. Garner was amazing store. Took all the time we needed! In my opinion I would fire the folks that were Friday afternoon & find employees that want/need to work. Not everyone can work with the public.
