Matthew was great at responding in a timely matter answering any question I had. He even worked with me in personalizing my requests to best fit my needs. After I asked about scheduling the service on a certain date I did not hear back from him. Six days go by and I decided to make this a DYI task so I emailed him back letting him know that "Sorry but I would not need the services after all and thanks so much for the help and I'd keep them in mind in the future". The response I recieved was one I was not expecting. It was "Thanks for the 15 wasted emails and my time". In customer service the seller spends great amounts of time explaining the product knowing that the customer still may not purchase from them. That's the way it works! I was appalled to get this response from such a repitable company I will not use them in the future.

We attempted to hire someone else to finish the job but no one would touch the work. We paid double to complete the job because we had to start over. This also put us behind schedule with other contractors during our construction phase. He was also halfway into completing the job. We were building a multi million dollar home at the time. We had no issues with all the contractors we hired to do work.

While doing a home remodel Steve was there to bid the project and collect a substantial up-front check for the hardware. And after a few missed appointments he even showed up and did about 90% of the work. Of course, he collected a check for the balance and promised to be back with the few final items to complete the job leaving somewhat of a hot tangled cable mess hanging in the closet. And after six months and a dozen missed appointments (and family matters and illnesses and every other excuse imaginable) it still all hangs there in the closet waiting for completion. As Josie said, Steve will be there for the initial install and to collect your check but is horrible for service issues. They seldom answer their phone, and if you are lucky enough to get them to commit to an "appointment", be prepared for them not to show up. Follow up Report: After writing this negative review and receiving a call from Steve's wife (business manager for Creative Wiring Solutions) he promptly set an appointment to finish the work he started. He actually showed up on-time for the appointment he set and completed the work well.  Steve is a kind guy with strong attention to detail in his work. After this experience, I realized it was not his carelessness that dragged a simple job into a 6 month mess, but his massively in-demand services. He's completely over-scheduled and overextended without help. At the end of the day, I appreciate Steve's willingness to take responsibility for what happened and his desire to make it right. However, I don't think that writing a negative Yelp review to precipitate a response should have been required. Hated doing it, but at least my house is done now and I'm glad to post an updated review.

In my case, I had them help me mount a very large flat screen television set on a wall. I normally do these things myself and I'm very good at it, so my standards and expectations are high. This one was too large and heavy for me to finish the install, so I gave Byron a call and got on their schedule. He and his co-owner came by to complete the install. Ordinary guys would have spent two minutes, hung the television, and overcharged me. Not so with these guys. They spent time talking to me about how far over to hang it, made sure everything was secure, then lifted the television and hooked it on the mount. While continuing to hold it, Byron carefully examined the brackets behind the television with a flashlight and made absolutely certain the latches were engaged and the television was secure. Then they pulled out a microfiber cloth and cleaned off any fingerprints or smudges they might have left. No kidding. I got their name from a friend who is the manager in charge of pulling together the local offices for a software company. Two Techies installed all of their televisions, and she was so impressed she has been using them both for additional work at her office and personally at home. She gave a strong recommendation and now that I've tried them out, I completely agree with that assessment. These guys are amazing, and I'm looking forward to enlisting their help again in the future.

The owner of Sound…read moreProfiles did an audio/video rough in for me back in late August of 2019, which was to include, HDMI, Ethernet, and speaker wires, which he completed and I paid for these services. He was supposed to come back at a later date when the room was finished to install/hang LCD TV, and connect the existing system he had sold me at a previous house. After attempting to arrange the follow up visit several times he had one of his employees contact me to do the work, "on the side", which was OK with me....or at least I thought should be fine. The young man did hang the TV and connect most of the equipment, but he didn't terminate the Ethernet connection that was pre-wired by Sound Profiles, from my modem to my receiver, so part of my system is not functional. Why would any customer request a pre-wired network connection and not want it completed with the final installation? The owner had installed this received at another home and knew it required a network connection. I have tried contacting both parties multiple times without a suitable resolution and I felt filing a complaint is the proper thing to do to alert customers to their business practices.
