Horrible service. It doesn't take two employees to help one person, especially when I've been waiting for over 20 minutes.

We decided I will trade my phone for the smaller model they had (benefit to them) once I got home I saw that I was given an older model iphone after I was specifically told that it was the same iphone as mine. Went back, had to fight tooth and nail to get my original back WITH THE OLED SCREEN I PAID FOR. Finally got it done. Notice a black spot on the screen, thought it was apart of the update until I noticed it spreading and distorting images. Messaged the owner sam about it, his worker told me it was called pixel burn. They tried to tell me it's from pressure being on the phone. Well, I have had this iphone well taken care of before I let you crooks touch it. My screen is also separating from the phone now because they did not put all my screws back in place. I should have paid my phone company the money to fix it. He even tried to give me the screen off of one of his worker's phone. They will talk to each other in their language to talk around you, watch them. I thought they were good people, nope. Would not recommend. They are slick and dishonest, shop else where if you can. 1/5 stars from me.

I brought my PS5 in for a straightforward HDMI port repair and was charged $161.66. After the…read morerepair, the PS5 would output video again, but it immediately developed a new overheating/shutdown problem that it never had before. Sometimes it displays "PS5 is too hot," and other times it hard powers off during gameplay. From there, it turned into a major time sink. Over the last 3 weeks, I made 7 separate trips back to the store plus multiple calls because the overheating issue started only after their HDMI work. Each time I checked in, I was told it would be ready in "1-2 days," but that kept getting pushed repeatedly. They kept the console for about two additional weeks attempting to fix the new problem and ultimately were unable to repair it. Their resolution was a $100 cash refund, leaving me still out $61.66, and I'm stuck with a PS5 that's effectively broken/unusable for gaming. If a shop takes on PS5 repairs, they need the expertise to return the device in fully working condition and stand behind the work when a new issue appears immediately afterward - especially after weeks of repeated "1-2 more days" promises. In hindsight, I should have gone straight to Sony or an authorized repair channel. I would not recommend this place for PS5 repairs unless you're comfortable with the risk of ending up worse off than when you started.

I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier!

I stood in the middle of the store for approximately 30 minutes with a line forming behind me, and during that time no one acknowledged us or explained what the process was for receiving assistance. There was no greeting, no check-in, and no direction about where customers should go or how the queue was being managed. I ended up speaking with the customers behind me, and they were just as confused about what to do, where to go, or who to speak with. They mentioned they were simply trying to purchase a pair of AirPods, while I was just there to pick up an online order. None of us were sure if we were in the right place or waiting in the correct way because no one had acknowledged the line or provided any direction. Eventually an employee asked if I had been helped. When I explained that I had been waiting for about half an hour, several employees immediately came over. That response suggested the issue wasn't necessarily staffing, but rather a breakdown in floor awareness and queue management. What made the situation more uncomfortable was overhearing an employee respond to another customer in a somewhat condescending tone, saying something along the lines of "it's not like we're just standing around doing nothing, everyone's busy." I completely understand that retail environments get busy -- I work in retail myself -- but when customers have been waiting that long without acknowledgment, comments like that can come across as dismissive. A simple greeting, explanation of the check-in process, or someone managing the queue would have prevented most of the confusion and frustration. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that it helps improve the customer experience, because the Apple Store is typically known for a much higher standard of service.
