If you have an issue, it's never their problem -- and cooperate is an endless circle of useless customer service representatives who "can't" help. To them, it's the customers fault. This store saved AT&T's bacon. Not to prolong my ordeal by recounting my numerous, less than satisfied encounters I have had; I have to say that Faraz, Natalie, King James!, Andrew, and the excellent other people I ran across there, all my my experience excellent. So this is not to say that other AT&T stores aren't also awesome, but until Big Mama(Bell), figures her game plan out, I would stick to my local store from now on. Just to insure you get the best service. And to all the folks that complain about waiting? Make an appointment. Honestly I'm so disappointed with my experience at att and how they handled my situation. I felt like everything was made to be an up sell instead of trying to help me fix the problem at hand and I really feel like I was being lied to just to get me to spend more money. There was one kid, I wish I remembered his name, who I felt like truest wanted to help me and was honest with me but the final time I came in he was busy so another guy had to help me. Overall I left very upset and had to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars which truly wasn't necessary. Once my contract is up I will probably switch to Verizon. read more

Incredibly rude, crude and unprofessional, starting with the manager. Dingy small ugly store. When we went in, somebody walked up to us with a Google t-shirt on (Google, not ATT) and said can he help. We said we want to buy a phone. Then he asks for ID . Is this a liquor store? Since when is there an ID requirement to go into a phone store. Is this their method of marketing? To get IDs from people to endlessly harass them with advertising after they leave? Of course, I said I don't want to give him an ID to look at phones. Then he said, "I'll check with my manager" smh. Then he walks to some guy wearing something like a sweat suit sitting on a bench against the wall near the door talking to people, and said something to him. The guy said "suspect" He didn't think we heard but we did, and you should have seen his face when he realized we heard him insult me, and my cousin started to go off on him. She doesn't like when people insult me lol. She told him we can go someplace else if you have a problem. He said that's fine bc he doesn't want to get into any arguments. This guy hangs out on the bench next to the door, insults his potential customers, but doesn't want to get into arguments. Smh. Well, of course we left. This store is a joke. If I could leave 0 stars I would. First off I call prior to coming stating I want to purchase an IPhone not on installment plan. The sales rep told me to come down to the store. I made the 40min drive to be asked for an appointment which I understand due to safety guidelines. However this store admitted someone without an appointment prior to me when someone didn't show up. Fast forward to when I was finally called. I went in and asked to purchase the phone only to be told by Aiden that I can't, I would need a installment plan. He recommend that I purchase it at Apple. We have been to this store many times in the past several years, to upgrade phones, purchase accessories, ask for technical help, etc. We have always been very happy with the service. This evening we upgraded one of our phones, and the store was quite busy. We were greeted promptly, and our name was put on the waiting list. It wasn't long before we were being helped by a gentleman named Thomas. In spite of how busy the store was, and the fact that it was getting close to closing time, he did not make us feel rushed at all, and was incredibly helpful. We feel fortunate to have this store close by, and have always received exemplary service. read more

Please don't go here. I had 13 lines when I started my plan, and gradually worked them down to 6. They charged 600 a month, then charged me an extra 400 this month. I was unwilling to pay this kind of premium. I switched to sprint. My bill dropped to 180, with better phones and unlimited. The service is worse, but not badly worse and it's a third the cost. read more

Every time my family and I walk into that Torrington AT&T store, we are left standing there and standing and standing... That's fine if they are helping other customers, but they don't even greet us or even acknowledge our existence. There were 5 AT&T employees in the store yesterday, but my daughter and I were standing in plain sight for at least 15 minutes and nobody greeted us or said a single word to us. So we walked out and took our business to Target across the street. Learn some customer service - it extends even to the people you aren't waiting on yet! All it would have taken is a smile in our direction even, and we would have gladly stayed and waited (and waited). Every single time we go in there it's the exact same scenario. Rude!!! This is the worst store. The sales persons ignore you. Stood there for 1/2 hour awaiting for someone to acknowledge. If you ask they say I will be right with you as they play on there phone or socialize. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone. I do not know how they are still in business there. read more

@AT&T after being a customer for 27 years, we have not 1 but 2 unresolved billing problems. 1 has been going on for 7 months, and on a leap of faith we purchased another device and service plan and the company messed that one up too. Now the company won't resolve their problem. They say it's my problem that I need to fix, when in fact the sales reps setup the plan and problem because I don't have access to your systems to do it myself. I have to be inconvenienced yet another time to go into the local store where the manager says they have no authority to fix the problem, it's a problem at 'headquarters'. I'm angry, disgusted, and hot. I'm traveling internationally and customer service won't resolve my problems. I think it's time to talk to @Verizon and @Sprint for a better experience. I was very satisfied with the service I received today while upgrading my phone. The manager was very helpful, knowledgable, and at no point did I feel "pressured" into a sale. He explained their current offerings and answered questions that I had, and ultimately allowed for me to decide what I wanted. I was about to upgrade over at Walmart because their prices were a little bit cheaper, but after 3 attempts (no one available the first time, closed the second time, and out of stock on most phones the third time), I gave up and went to Torrington AT&T, as I should have at the very beginning. The staff knows what they're talking about, their phones were readily available, and they take care of data transfers between old and new phones. I was able to leave with an activated new phone and I made my first call within minutes of leaving the store. Highly recommended as the go-to store for all of your AT&T products/services!! read more
