Told me that I should have never been able to get an appointment, because they don't have enough staff to serve the customers they already have waiting. I had the worst customer service experience at AT&T yesterday. I went in to buy a phone for my mother. The employee kept texting on his phone while talking to me, and after turning on the phone, he left without any goodbye or finishing the transaction. I waited, thinking he'd come back, but he didn't. When I asked another employee, she said he had an 'emergency' but never informed me. Then I waited for the manager, who was out to lunch. When the manager finally arrived, she was also texting while I was talking. I had to ask her to put her phone down. They didn't even know that changing iCloud wouldn't erase my data. This review is not for the store or its employees, but rather for the service itself. They claim their service coverage is everywhere when in fact I couldn't even write this review there because the coverage alone the Turlock 99 corridor is trash. You'll have 3 bars and 5G but no data. Everyone knows that data is important on mobile devices today and AT&T can't even provide that in the most visited area of town. AT&T does have coverage most places even 5G but that doesn't mean you'll have data which is what most people require now. Do your research. read more

We bought our daughter a new phone for her birthday on a trade program and when I tried to bring her old phone to the AT&T store on Monte Vista by Target, I was told by the clerk and a manager that I was not able to return it there even though the website stated that I was able to return it there. After completing what was asked (becoming authorized on the account), taking 6+ hours in total across multiple visits and using their online accounts management support. Worst customer service ever! I have been to this store multiple times and this is the first time I walk out disappointed. Visited the store to upgrade and change plans- the agent that "helped" us did not take the time of day to explain any plans other than the one we told him we heard about. Explained to him that I was still confused and things did not make sense, and he had the audacity to say "how does it not make sense?" I've had wifi with this company for about 3-4 years now and anytime I have an issue they are so quick to fix it and make me happy. Today I finally switched my cell provider to att and got a new phone. Fidel helped me today with my new phone, service and trade in. My 5 year old incredibly hyper active daughter was with me and he handled it so professional making it easier on me and my anxiety. Usually I'd be rushing and irritated and have no idea what was even said because my child doesn't stop talking and moving. I was convinced by my wife to switch to AT&T from Verizon. Boy do I regret it. They've been so so helpful at this store but when I decided to buy Apple Watches for both of us I was having issues with online ordering. I called the store and was told I would be given the same deal in store. I was not given the same deal so when I was charged 60 extra dollars I called the store. Manager told me their reps don't have access to see what the deals or charges in deals were so it wasn't her reps fault!!! I'm sorry then why would they say they could get me the same deal BEFORE looking at the deals online??? I worked retail years ago and would never offer a customer anything if I wasn't sure I could deliver. Needless to say after four calls to customer service, two calls to the store and a visit to the store I FINALLY got my credit. Worst experience ever. I wish I could zero stars. Worst place to call or go to in person. I've never dealt with such lazy people before. I've had to go in person twice just to get my In Home Expert's phone number because she had forgotten to leave me her card. ATT refused to give me the number because I had to have an issue with my internet in order to even get someone to come to my house. I told them the IHE had nothing to do with my internet. I contacted the store where she mentioned she used to work out of and no one knew who I was talking about and no one knew the IHE hotline. When I asked the Assistant Mgr if he could find out, he put me on hold and then told me he asked around and no one knew. I went to the store within 20 minutes later and the same guy I had spoken to before who knows my IHE gave me her number right away. Mind you, a day after purchasing my phone (two weeks before this) I had to go in to get my case and screen protector because my IHE came to my home to check that our internet and everything else was ok and she happened to convince me to buy my first iPhone. When I went in with my 6 yr old son, not even 2 minutes had passed and these two black men walked in. I didn't think anything of it but all the associates started acting weird and the ones who were in the back came out to the floor. One of the managers made some dialogue with the men and I was assuming it was all business as usual but in less than 10 minutes these men walked out the door with a bunch of headphones and speakers and one male associate followed them. They basically knew they wouldn't be stopped. I asked the manager what had just happened and she said they were just robbed and it happens all the time but can't do anything about it. The service on a whole, I haven't had to much problem with. The people in the store, have been iffy at best. We have had quite a few instances where we were told one thing and later were told by AT&T on the phone it was not correct. This came to a head a few months ago when we went to get our U-Verse internet/home phone upgraded with TV service. We were quoted a deal based on our account in the store, given a price and a 2 year term. It was done on a weekend so someone Monday in the back had to verify everything and get back to us to tell us we were a go for install. Number 1 we never got a call from the local store, my wife had to call and ask about it. Then after playing phone tag for a few hours she had to call corporate because they were telling the local store no, we don't qualify for the offer. So after playing let me talk to the next person up for over an hour, she was told they could give us a year deal, and it was more expensive than we first were quoted and what we were willing to pay to begin with. She told them we would cancel our service if they did not honor the deal we were told in store, according to their computers, our account was qualified for. She had to leave a message for 2 different "Managers at Corporate" . She was never contacted back either. We decided when she hung up to go to Charter. Funny thing is 2 months later we get a letter from them saying we were now considered a new customer again and they could honor the same deal we wanted to begin with. (I want to clarify in this instance this IS NOT the local stores fault, but AT&T Corporate.) We have had nothing but positive things in terms of dealing with the local people on our Wireless account. read more

Sera flat out lied about direct TV service and sold me a package that the installer wouldn't install. You must have all of your Tv's on site or they will not hook up service. Also if you want wireless boxes, it is an additional $100. My phone service os far slower then my old sprint service was, I am not happy and will not stay an ATT mobile customer nor will I support Direct TV. read more

I went in to see if they could help manage my devices to see how much I owe on a device and the worker Eric told me he did not know how to work the my AT&T app.... How are you going to work at AT&T and not know how to show me what my balance is on my device that I am contracted with? He was absolutely rude and not helpful. If I could give zero stars I would. So I bought an iPhone 7 here after about 1 week ago camera is not working and it's black screen . They try to reset but it's not working . Thankfully it's less than 14 days when I returned it to the store . The lady who was helping me was very professional givie my new iPhone 7 and new screen protector to my phone . With no extra cost . The only thing I would say is when they have to yank the case off to the defective iPhone so they could put it on my new iPhone .. they scratch the case and there is a smudge and fingerprints inside all over the case. Worst customer service. I had set up an appointment to install my internet with an agent at this branch. I was offered a promotion of a $100 reward gift card to use towards my installation fee for starting a new account. Its been over a month and still have not received my reward and my bill is due. I tired looking for my reward online and kept getting a message saying it couldn't find my account. I called AT&T reward center, after trying to get a hold of them being on hold for an hour I finally got an answer. I was never issued an award. The kind lady on support issued it for me and now I have to wait 3 weeks before I see that reward. Now I have to pay out of pocket for my bill when the reward could have covered it. This branch needs to do better training with its agents and not mislead customers with wrong information. read more

Worst service. Went in today to get a phone looked at the phone was purchased 1-10-19 and it is now 1-21-19. And phone screen is black but it rings when getting called. Showed up to store showed them that phone was pretty much brand new and not damaged. Was told to take it to apple to get it fixxed that it was no longer there problem that only apple could help me. Asked for a new phone but was denied looked up there return policy from att. Which is 30 days no questions. The fcc and att presidents office in Colorado will return your call and will do something about it. This place needs to get shut down. read more
