If I had to rate this store, I would give it a 0 out of 10…read more This was an awful experience. I went into AT&T to get a new phone and was met with pushy, slimy sales tactics instead of actual customer service. The staff focused entirely on upselling unnecessary add-ons, avoided giving clear answers, and rushed through the important details. It felt misleading and dishonest, like they cared more about screwing me over and money in their pockets than helping a customer make the right choices. I have been on the phone with AT&T for several hours trying to clean up the mess they made. Since it has been over 14 days everyone is saying they cannot help the situation. I went back up to this store to see what their explanation was behind all of this and all he said was "I don't know, I guess it was a mistake." I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Buying a phone should be simple, not something that feels manipulative. This experience completely destroyed my trust for AT&T. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone. If you value transparency and respect, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

For anyone attempting to show up to this store and turn in their phone for a Trade-In, don't…read more I had already received my replacement phone in the mail, and was turning my old phone into this location to complete the Trade-In and get the credits applied to my account. As they were checking my phone's condition the man assisting me, Angel, noticed a small scratch on the backplate of the phone. He ran his fingernail over the backplate, and mentioned that the store rates scratches by if their fingernail can catch. He then proceeded to estimate my Trade-In value at $350. Then, he called over the manager, Layla, who did the "fingernail test" and agreed on the value of my trade-in at $350. Besides this small scratch, my phone is in pristine condition and meets the requirements stated on AT&T's website: 1.Does the Device power on and off 2.Is the activation lock turned off 3.Is the device functioning correctly and intact, free of any chips, cracks, bruised/dead pixels or burn-in I called another AT&T store in my area and they said that this "fingernail test" isn't something stores do at all and isn't a part of AT&T's overall company policy. (besides that it's just absurd). I even called corporate AT&T, they also confirmed this isn't how AT&T checks phone conditions, and it's also not the store employee role to give you the money value of your trade-in. I called this location back to try to speak with someone else and spoke to Chris, another manager. Chris also said the "fingernail test" is standard for their store and when asked for the names of the employees who helped me, he initially refused, saying, "why do you need to know that". SOLUTION: take your phone to Ellisville or Chesterfield (both 5 stars) if you want the correct value of your phone given, and the credits you're owed put into your account. This Washington location doesn't have their customers' best interest in mind.

He did not assist in finding any discounts - that was done by the online representative. It seemed he may have been unable to focus due to being under the influence. I detected the scent of marijuana on him before noticing his bloodshot eyes. My recommendation: steer clear of Dallas!

I have not observed anyone cleaning the counter between customers. My original review of the Cricket store, based on an in-person visit and several phonecalls in the late summer/early fall of last year, was favorable. At that point I received great customer service, a reliable phone and the prices for their packages were favorable. At that time I was so impressed that I gave Cricket wireless in Sullivan, Mo five stars. My recent visit on the Friday before the 4th of July weekend, multiple phonecalls and three visits in the week after the holiday weekend brought the rating down to three stars. I visited on Friday, July 1st. I wanted to take over my husbands old phone, he wanted a new one and we wanted to be set up for the multi-line plan. That plan is a few dollars cheaper than the individual packages. It works like the family plan of other companies, the more phones you run on the plan, the cheaper it becomes. Setting up my husbands old phone for me was no problem. I had to pay a new activation fee since his SIM card would transfer to the new phone, but I had no problem with this. My husband picked a Samsung A 53 for his new phone. This phone is now advertised as $299. However, we were charged $390.88. Several members of the staff spent more than one hour trying to get the phone to set up. Loreley ended up having to go get the manager James to finish the set up. We paid for the phone, paid another activation fee and the additional charge so both phones were current on the new plan. We brought both phones home and tried to use them for the first time. Neither one worked. We could neither make or receive calls, send or receive texts or access the internet. Husbands phone was asking for a lockscreen pin which he did not set in the store. I looked for an instant chat on cricketwireless.com and discovered that they wanted another $16.00 because the activation fee on my phone had not been configured correctly. So we paid that and my phone worked. Husbands phone did not. We called the cricket store and they tried some things over the phone but nothing worked. We were then told that we had to contact Samsung and, if they couldn't fix it, we would have to return on Tuesday when the actual store manager was in. Turns out James is not the manager of the Sullivan store, but of the Rolla store and just covered in Sullivan. After several hours on the phone with Samsung their advice was to return the phone and get it replaced. On Tuesday we went back to Sullivan (a 18 mile drive each way) and spend another two hours of employees trying to "fix" my husbands phone. Eventually they decided to replace it and issue us a refund and then sell us another phone (same model). Again, the price we paid was $390.88. We also had to pay another activation fee because the new phone had a new SIM card. Husbands phone works now but someone has to explain why it took four activation fees and why we paid almost a hundred dollars more for a phone that was advertised at a lower price. Loreley and Stacee really tried to help and Stacee was the one who eventually got the phone to work. James might have been a manager but he was so busy looking at his phone that he didn't pay enough attention to my husband's. The three stars are more for the plan pricing which is still good. We also received HBO Max for a year as part of our plan.
