What has happened to this store? I walk in and instead of seeing the sea of silk flowers and garden accessories I find it layed out like a flea market selling scrubs, books, and cheap clothing. When I think of Garden Ridge I think of home decor, not scrubs! I have in years past spent HOURS strolling this store. It was so much fun to start at the silk flowers, then take a small jaunt through the forest of artificial trees, and then stroll the home acessories and outdoor vases and home decor. Then when I got hungry I would mosey over to the snack bar for a cold diet cola and some fries. Then get back to shopping. Really, hours have gone by and I would still be in that place! Now when a person comes in they see bare shelving and not near the selection of cool stuff that once graced their shelves! I am so hurt I could just cry. I used to love shopping at garden ridge. They had great craft, art, party supplies. Now it's become a made in China reject store. Huge tables heaped with junky clothes, ugly luggage, bulk packaged junk food. The actual items I used to buy there they no longer carry, or the aisles are so trashed you can't find them, so I go to Michael's instead. More expensive, yes, but at least they have what I'm looking for. The restrooms are a horror, all of the carts are in some state of disrepair, and I believe the store has a total of 2 employees these days. Way to go garden ridge, you've lost a loyal customer. read more

Love this place. We go here every year for Christmas ornaments and decorations. I love the variety of home decor you can find here.

Great place for inexpensive decoration. Quickly pick up ornaments for a fraction of other retail places. Anything that you'll plan to use often, get it elsewhere. read more

I absolutely love my At Home store. I was shopping with them when they where Garden Ridge. Although I love the store, this store has horrible customer service. I stood in the checkout line for 30 minutes. When the manage finally arrived, I asked her about my picture because it was damaged. Before I could show her what happened and ask her if there was any in the back, she cut me off and said in a rude manner, "10% off and NO REFUNDS." Then she walked away and never assisted her employee with moving the line, which shows how horrible you are as a manager. As a customer, I do not have to waste my hard earned money with a company that has horrible customer service and treats me like krap. I will never shop here again. read more

Is it me or have the prices at Garden Ridge gotten ridiculously high? I admit that I'm more of a seasonal Garden Ridge shopper - Christmas season, but thought I'd go have a look around today...really? Small pressed wood end tables for $149 - $400 for an 8x10' rug? As I looked around more, I realized that most, if not all, of what I'd want could be purchased cheaper at Wal-Mart or Target...and better quality. No wonder the store was empty. There was a sign out front saying that they're planning on revamping the store....I hope that means they'll be sharpening their pencils and cutting those prices or the next sign we'll see out front is For Lease! read more

This store is so disappointing! They do have a lot of inventory, however I will not be back as every single time I walk into that store there is a line of at least a 45 minute wait and only two cashiers!!!. I walked in there today to return an item and was told I would have to stand in that line to return this item. I told the cashier I did not have an hour to wait and asked for the manager. She then proceeded to tell me she was the manager. Needless to say I did not wait in the long line to return one item, but it was definitely the last time I will do business there. Not only do they not have enough staff ever, but they are rude and unhelpful. If you have a line of 15 to 20 people you must have another register open. This is common sense in any business as people were huffing and puffing in the line! Again no one there cares that people are upset over there poor customer service. The prices are not that cheap so it is not worth going there with this type of service. Go to Kirkland's, or any other home Decore store and you will not only get better pricing but service. read more

This store is not worth visiting. At Home raised all their prices but the store and merchandise is still cheap cheap. They must have had a good run and tried to cash in but raising prices. This particular store is going through a renovation (Aug 2017) so maybe in 6 months they'll have things worked out, but for now its totally disorganized, dirty, and not a good place to shop. read more

I love this store-it's a good place to get in an indoor walk and look around. It does have a LOT of merchandise and sometimes it isn't "tidy" but heck-that's part of the fun! Kind of like treasure hunting! It is what it is and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Not your taste? Shop somewhere else. Problem solved. This place is large and has almost anything to furnish a house. Much of it's made in China. It's a bit overwhelming when you walk in & don't really know where to start. Plan to spend some time though because checkout is always slow. Keep an eye on the line & run for it when no one is there. read more

HORRIBLE products in outdoor furniture/cushions and unacceptable Return Policy for poor quality products. Spent over $500 for all new cushions for all our patio furniture, and after 3 months the seat cushions are totally flat!! Advised by local store rep they don't guarantee quality of their products after 60 days, and there is nothing I can do! Several hundred dollars spent to only be able to sit on them for 90 days- that's insane. THINK TWICE before buying anything at this store that you want to last beyond 60 days!! read more

For all of you who currently shop at Garden Ridge you may want to rethink. Their return policy is 60 days regardless of whether the product is defective or not. I purchased (2) $100 outdoor rugs a little more than 2 months ago and as I tried to return them today I was shocked to be told it doesn't matter that they are defective, you are passed the 60 days. My husband and I continued to try to explain although these rugs clearly claim to be outdoor rugs, they shrink a little bit every time it rains. As anyone in Charlotte knows, we have had considerable rain this season and now the rugs have shrunk to the point we can no longer use them. The manager at the store would not listen, only kept repeating we were past the 60 days. I have shopped at this store for years but will never shop there again and will be certain to warn all my friends and family. read more

This used to be one of my favorite stores. I tried to EXCHANGE an umbrella without a receipt...tag still attached. They will not even talk to you without the receipt. Their return/ exchange policy sucks. I quit shopping there for over a year. Now I shop very little and am careful about what I purchase. read more

This store is a mess! You can find some things for decorating, but it is very disorganized and not placed well. Employees were walking around yelling at one another and not friendly or helpful whatsoever! In fact, they wouldn't even look your way. Some aisles are over stuffed while others are bare. The items they place along the way to the checkout is a Joke! The candy and pretzels were out of date yet they were much higher than what you would pay for at Any grocery store! Items that were marked down did not ring up correctly. Don't even get me started on the restrooms. Yuck! This store needs a MAJOR overhaul before I will ever go back. read more

DON'T BUY FURNITURE HERE! We went to garden ridge for our kitchen table. Found a nice one for around $300. Bought it and realized after buying it that it wouldn't fit in our hatchback car even with our seats laid down, we stated we would come back tomorrow with our truck and they said no, we had to take it then. We brought it home, up to flights of stairs to our apt, only to find it was missing screws and had to take back the entire thing and they refused to take it back without the box. read more
