We have been to Diamond knot before and everything was great. We had reservations but seems like we were lucky to get a table.? They didn't tell us about any items out and they were out of donut rolls, basil, and very bland food, nothing seasoned. I spent over $200 so disappointed. My daughter received spinach instead of basil. (She does not like spinach) Did not get another soda, waitress was busy but still. The runner was awesome! read more

Still one star for us! Came in for HH & ordered two pint beers ($6 each) and mozzarella (6.99). Our check ended up being $26. When asked why the beers were 7.99 and 8.99 the waitress said that is the HH price and that the pricing went up. Turns out, she charged us for a 20oz when we had specifically asked for pints. Also, what she said about the pricing going up is an absolute lie. Everywhere, literally everywhere (bathroom included), it shows pricing as $5 or $6 ($5 for less than a pint, $6 for a pint). Although the food was decent and the beer was good, we won't be back. Owning up to a mistake goes a long way. Flat out lying to your guest does not. I think she was just trying to up charge to get a larger tip. read more

Diamond Knot used to be consistently good. It is now a ghost of its former self. Walked in to the empty host stand with a "please seat yourself sign", so we did. No menus, just a QR code on the table to look at the menu on our phones. No one greeted us or seemed to even know we were there for 5 minutes. No wonder, since the restaurant was otherwise completely empty. They no longer have the giant stuffed tater tots on the menu. We ordered a kids fish a chips, a bowl of chowder, and a side salad. The fish was dry and inedible. The side salad soggy and gross, and the chowder was 'meh'. 2 other patrons came in at one point and seated themselves. After 10 minutes or so, one of them was standing at the kitchen door to see if anyone worked there. They then asked for 2 coffees, which apparently this former full service restaurant doesn't have? Paid $40 for the terrible food. This was definitely the last time we'll visit this restaurant. read more

We seated ourselves at noon and after 15 minutes went looking for someone to get menus from. We'll, no menus just a QR code to scan. The sirloin dip was pretty good,, but no one else liked their food. Fish and chips - so dry. The fish was like chips. The gumbo had no flavor. How's that even possible? Fun place to stop when coming on or off a ferry. Most recent time I was here I had a cider and some chicken wings. Sitting at the bar means you also get peanuts in a shell which is a fun activity. The cider was satisfying and the chicken wings were prepared well and coated with lots of buffalo sauce. Bartender was friendly and fast. read more

After spending the day walking the beach with my little bean, we decided to eat at Diamond Knot. When we arrived, the person serving ice cream greeted us and told us to find a seat anywhere. As we walked toward a table, a waitress abruptly told us, "All those tables are reserved. I have a lot of parties coming." Then, almost begrudgingly, she added, "I guess I could clean this table off for you guys." The entire time, I was thinking--there's no way she's talking to us like this, as if we were an inconvenience just for wanting to eat there. After she cleaned the table, we sat down. Another couple sat behind us, and she loudly announced to both of us, "I am busy getting these two reserved tables set as they're coming in shortly. I won't be able to take your order for about five or ten minutes." Thankfully, within a minute, another waitress came over and took care of us with no hesitation. I ordered the Carnivore thin-crust pizza. It wasn't bad, but nothing special. My daughter ordered the Garlic Onion Burger and devoured the entire thing--so it was definitely good. Here's the kicker: We were there for about 45 minutes total. The "reserved" tables? They weren't occupied until the last seven minutes of our visit when a baseball team finally arrived. If my daughter hadn't been starving, I would have walked out because of the rude customer service. The waitress showed no urgency in actually preparing those tables first, yet she treated us (and the other couple) like an afterthought. Would I come back? Probably not. I feel I'm being generous giving 2 stars as this was terrible food! We ordered this Saturday for a late lunch early dinner at around 330-4pm. We ordered a ceaser salad, 2 pizzas and wings. The pizza was disguting, it really tasted like what you might throw together drunkenly from what you have in your kitchen! Not to mention it was severely under cooked and doughy, personally, I'm not a fan of cheddar on pizza and I think they ran outta mozzarella bc it was covered in cheddar cheese! The wings spilled all over in the takeout bag so they were under sauced (probably bc it spilled, i will give them the benefit of the doubt). Unfortunately whomever packed our to go order didn't know what they were doing a they put the salad ON TOP is the hot food which is a NO NO, as we all know, or should know, heat rises, pack the salad in a separate bag or on bottom at the very least! I'm so sick of companies nickell and dimeing us! To save a whole dime by not putting it in a 2nd bag on a $100 order, sealed their fate on us EVER ordering from this place again, it was down right NASTY! Pleasant late lunch with the bf while we were exploring Mukilteo. Vibes are chill - a lot of people were hanging with friends, having a beer, watching the game. The crunching of peanut shells beneath your feet as you walk around is fun and totally part of the overall vibe. Food portions are generous! I wasn't in the mood for a heavy lunch, but still wanted something hefty enough to tide me over till dinner. We opted for a sandwich and salad. One of those orders would have been plenty lol but alas I learned the 'hard' way. I was full. Each order is huge! Bf said this spot was a go-to for him and his buddies when he lived in the area. Service was slow waited over 30 minutes for food. Appetizer for a hungry table of 6 came at the same time as the rest of the food. Nachos were very sparingly sprinkled with cheese. Fish in the fish in chips dish was rubbery and dry. Restaurant did not appear to be overly busy--multiple staff walked by our table and did not check on us or offer to refill water. Overall value and quality of food was less than it has been in my past trips to their restaurant which may just be due to overall rising costs of food. We frequent Mukilteo Beach fairly often, and have dined at this place probably twice a year on average but our last few trips here food quality/service consistently lagging. read more

Server Tyler catered to my party of 6. This was my Washington farewell dinner that my sister and her family took me to on 12/28/2023. I meant to post about the experience on the way to the airport but got sidetracked lol. Nonetheless, this hidden gem has gems of its own to indulge in. Their root beer is made in house. I also love how their menu features the beer that pairs best with the meal (don't see that at many places). I'm not much of a beer drinker but I did try their lazer sword and tropic island stout. I must say the latter was too think and bitter for my liking. When it comes to food, you honestly can't seem to go wrong. One thing I do recommend is that you start with their seafood chowder. SO GOOD. As you'll see in the photos I got so carried away eating it I almost forgot to snap a pic. I honestly could've had two bowls of that and been fine. For entrees we ordered the Knothead nachos, Fish and Chips, Meaty Mac and Cheese, Burgers and two kids meals (last three not pictured). Flavor was there in all the meals. If you absolutely need a rec, go for the nachos or the mac and cheese. The nachos had a lot of flavor, kitchen just needs to make sure they don't overcook the chips (there were a few burnt bits). The mac was also in my top two just because it was the perfect noodle to meat ratio and was so creamy and comforting. If you happen to live or stop in the area, dine in. read more

The setting is so nice in the summer. I love sitting near the open walls. Had the Cobb salad with chicken instead of turkey, it was yummy! Had the best lime gimlets with Tito's. Just a heads up--you can't actually see the water from inside the restaurant, which was a bit of a bummer. My son ordered an ice cream sundae, and he really enjoyed it--definitely a highlight for him! I tried a couple of their drinks, but unfortunately, they didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I did leave feeling buzzed, so I guess they did the job, lol. Our waitress, Anna, was very nice--actually, *very very* nice! Her service definitely made the experience better. While I don't think I'd sit down inside again, they do have a to-go window, and I'd definitely grab an ice cream cone for the road next time. We arrived when they were pretty busy, the place was pretty smokey inside. We waited probably 15 minutes before someone finally came to the table and acknowledged us. It appeared they only had one server for the area. That being said, she was AMAZING when she came to the table. They had a pretty extensive list of available IPAs, if that's your thing, not mine but the lager was pretty good. The tots were crispy little pillows of potato. The turkey pesto melt was all the cheesy goodness of a melty hot sandwich. The only thing that wasn't the best was the pulled pork on the Cuban, it was so dry and nothing on the sandwich seemed to help. If up in mukilteo, I'd stop in again but would probably pick out something else from the menu. read more

They have a "walk-up window " outside that you can order ice cream and OMGG ! It took literally 45 mins for 7 people ahead of me to order an İCE CREAM !!!! I have been going to Diamond Knot for decades and have always been happy to be there. I'm also one that rarely leaves reviews but my experienced the other night really bothers me and I write with the hope the current management heeds some constructive criticism. Simply put, always have menus that are accessible and usable to all. I suggested to my family to celebrate my father's 87th birthday in Diamond Knot Mukilteo and it was all good until told that the menu is only available via QR code. If this had only been me I would have shrugged and dealt with it but the management should recognize that we still have an elder generation the are not (and in some cases have no desire to join the smart phone world. I recognize the world has changed and there are costs to printing menus but I would suggest that if customer service is of any importance that you suck it up and at least print enough menus for those that request. I was brought up to give respect to my elders and as such I think the simple courtesy of a menu is warranted. I will add beyond this frustration on behalf of my father that as a person that has supported IT development for 30 years the user interface for your mobile app is horrible. It only exacerbated the insult in that it was not intuitive to navigate the menu by any means. I would certainly want to be certain that my digital menu was intuitive and understandable prior to eliminating the hard copies. There's peanuts everywhere! An interesting aesthetic but if you love peanuts it's a fun time. We came in on Sunday and ordered two beers to enjoy while we watched football. They have Tvs at all the right angles so everyone has a clear view. We didn't order food this time around but it was definitely tempting! Their menu seems to have a little of everything and there's an ice cream parlor next door which has an outdoor walk up window that was very popular around sunset time when we came in. The beach near here is a great spot to watch the sunset and it's within walking distance so I highly suggest coming in for a beer before you head over! read more

We've been coming here for years which is a destination for us since we live about 50 minutes away. But totally worth it. We've always had great service here. Lately we had Thomas as our beertender and he was awesome. Very attentive and knew the menu well. The location here is awesome and it's worth walking by the waterfront on a nice day. There's also free parking which is nice and free peanuts inside. This place has some of the best food from a brewery I've tasted. Great salad, great soups, and the cooking stones are amazing since they cook at 750°. They had 13 beers on tap in the summer of '22 as well as a great Bloody Mary. You can get a skewer for $1 extra which a great value - it includes cheese, bacon, meat, pepperoncini, and olives. We came into Diamond Knot Brewing at 10:00 AM on Sunday. We were able to be seated instantly, and were greeted by a friendly waitress and given peanuts. It was very chill and relaxed! I ordered a NW Blonde Ale that went perfectly with the peanuts. We were told to push the shells onto the floor! It took me a moment to realize that was okay but this specific combination was addicting. I ordered a Carnivore Breakfast Pizza. This breakfast pizza is so indulgent and good. They nailed the crust, and the cheese wasn't too much. This really felt and tasted like a breakfast pizza-I loved this! It was the most unique option on the menu and I would recommend getting it. This smelled great and made excellent leftovers, too. I would come back here in a heartbeat. What a sweet spot to enjoy a drink or a meal. What the heck happened to Diamond Knot!?! The service was sub-par. Aside from that, our food was not great. The burgers were dry and there was nothing juicy about them at all. For the amount we pay for a damn burger these days, at least give us some quality and taste. I've been a Diamond Knot customer since 2009, and the food has gone downhill.
