The focus is on eventing at this barn but there are opportunities for pure dressage to combined training to eventing at every level. Hunters and jumpers are also welcomed. As important as the instructor are the horses. The horses are happy here. There is plenty of space for them to graze and they are cared for by loving people. Finally, and most importantly, the social vibe is fun and supportive. There is a vibrant group of adult amateurs, and ages span from just under 16 to over 60. I was required to pay a security deposit after I had already been there 5 months. I paid the $400…read more($200 for each of my 2 horses) Shortly after I reluctantly paid the deposit, the barn manager told me I had to leave. We left October 2nd. The contract states the security deposit would be refunded withing 14 days of leaving. I have before and after photos of our stalls showing no damage done. I have tried to reach out to the barn manager for my deposit. She ignores my emails, texts, and Venmo requests. The owner of the facility says the contract is between myself and the barn manager yet allows it to continue. All I want is my security deposit back as it appears the barn manager only required it so that she could keep that money once she told me to leave.

They even sang me happy birthday, which was really special. It was an easy trial and honestly, I prefer the trail we did years ago. We went like on the side of a cliff kinda and we could see the stream down below. This trial was just mostly through the woods. Still nice tho. I'm coming back with my nephew. The stable is run by Nicki & Gina. There are additionally tour guides and other volunteers. The ride is now $60 for the 1hr ride. Please call and leave a message to schedule. Give your age, weight (there's a 250lbs capacity & they will weigh you) & riding experience. Beginners are welcome as they give you a tutorial on how to handle & guide the horses. They will call you back to confirm the dates of availability and follow-up via email. Come dressed in pants and closed toe shoes. On the day of your ride.. plan show up 45 mins early. So if your ride is at 12noon, be there by 11:15am at the latest. They don't play about check-in. They will turn you away if you are even a minute late. They only accept cash, there's no ATM. So, please come prepared. Also... when coming up the drive. Go 5mi per hr. Not 10, literally 5mph. They will yell and turn you away if you go faster. They have free roaming animals and the drive is uneven/rocky. Bring water, Your ID & your insurance card for paperwork. You will not be allowed to bring anything on the trial but sunglasses. That includes keys, money, cell phone, water bottle, etc. A guide will take pics during the ride and forward to you after. If you adhere to these rules you'll have a great time. But be mindful, the ladies are STRICT!!

DON'T BOARD YOUR HORSE HERE!!! The farm has wire fences and several horses have gotten themselves…read morecaught in the fencing. One even got caught in loose fencing that was just sitting in the field and sliced their leg open. The stalls are not matted so the clay base slowly gets dug out when stalls are being done. This makes the stall floors VERY uneven. The owners never drag the ring so there's this permanent dent where the first track lies. The owners are also extremely stingy on giving the horses hay in their stalls. I've moved my horse to a new barn and within a couple of months she has filled out and looks so much healthier. The instruction for lessons is some of the worst I've seen. The owner will be on her cell phone in the middle of a lesson and does not explain the mechanics of riding to any of her students. They just plow around the ring with the worst ring manners and she doesn't correct them at all. Whatever you do avoid this place at all costs.
