I moved across the good ol US of A in September 2019 to SE PA. My dear friend and former boss lives in MD and after two years, a pandemic, and current hatchlings from the Brood X maracas we decided to finally catch up and met at Farmacy. It was a perfect summery afternoon, the fillies were out in full form at the horse farm that shares the land. The food trucks were serving amazing portions of grub...and we are pretty sure one of the servers was into yours truly (if you're reading this, server, I'd be down). Ahem, it's a really cool place. Some indoor seating and plenty of space outside at tables and grassy areas. There was a band coming on as we were saying goodbye. The beers were fantastic. The taps are rotating based on the season and the produce used in them comes from the farm. Being from Portland, OR aka Beervana, Farmacy felt like home and I will gladly drive over an hour anytime for more of what they're serving.

Very beautiful day with friends shared at Farmacy this past Saturday. The beverages were cold and fresh, as usual. Although the food truck backed out last minute, I called and Jeremy suggested I bring my own food or we could order food delivery. The new indoor space is very nice. They have a dozen or so tables outside with umbrellas. Just a great local spot to taste and relax. And they are not hesitant to let you sample their pours, a bonus before dropping money on something you may not like. Bonus for using glassware. Definitely recommend visiting the farm!!

Experience quality micro beer made with ingredients grown on this working farm. The views are unlike many other breweries in that this is an actual working farm with animals and relaxing views. I do recommend bringing chairs or blankets as although there are tables inside and outside they get occupied quickly. They have a varied beer selection but not an expansive one perhaps 5-6 beers and some seltzers. Also available are non-alcoholic options. They do not serve food on site other than some packaged jerky and chips however, they may have a food truck there. The road is a single way in and out so be prepared to yield and parking can be a challenge. If it is a nice day out be prepared for crowds and long bathroom line as they have co-ed rooms. I did not like that the beer was served in plastic cups as I prefer glass.

This place is freaking amazing. Their brews are true and delicious... The place is absolutely breathtaking surrounded by horse farms. So peaceful, relaxing that makes you want to just stay forever. Great for children too. Be perfect if they have an icecream truck for the kiddos.

The people here are always super friendly, and the beer is super tasty! The views are incredible. (Raining today otherwise I'd take a photo) I'm happy they expanded the inside tasting room area. They always have good music and it's a fun place to hang out after a hike at Oregon ridge park.

5/20/20 Update: while the brewery is closed for on-site consumption, the Farmacy crew have been putting out some incredible beers for curbside pick-up on most Sat and Sundays. Definitely worth a visit to get a supply to enjoy at home and support a local business. ----- Located on a working farm in a picturesque and relaxing setting in northern Baltimore County, Farmacy Brewing is off to a great start. All of the beers have been very very good and with a rotating selection planned, it should be worth a visit on a regular basis. Aside from the excellent beer on tap, they do have a modest assortment of chips and jerky, but if you're planning on a real meal you should bring it with you. There are several tables inside and outside, but due to the small size of the tasting room you should email them in advance for a reservation for six or more people.

Cool local brewery offering a relaxed charm with a unique beer selection. Outside and inside seating available. Local bands and food trucks on occasion and friendly local vibe.

The Show Me Gucci Sour IPA and a Boylan Ginger Ale.

I have been here twice now, and the beers are excellent, especially if you are adventurous. Right now I'm having the Show Me Gucci sour IPA. Great laid back atmosphere. They have had a different food truck on site each time I have been here. Make the trip into the beautiful horse country of Maryland. You won't be disappointed.

The staff was incredibly rude and the beer had a skunky smell to it. There are much better breweries in this area. Don't waste your time.

We arrived as they opened at 10 AM on a Saturday and I was shocked that no one was there yet. Thinking we were beating the crowd soon turned to realizing we were late. Several weeks late. All the people came at Thanksgiving and bought all the trees! So, we could not cut any and we could only buy what they had available, which they had gone to Pennsylvania and purchased then propped them up on their property to sell. And it was perfect! We picked out a nicely girthed tree and got free hot cocoa and a tractor ride for fun. The owners were super nice and the workers were great in bagging up our tree and loading it in the car for us. Super friendly people here. We'll come again next year. But, early! The owner gave us a tip about leaving the tree in the garage with water until we're ready to set it up. Great idea for next year.

I was really surprised that this business wasn't already on Yelp!…read more We drove up on Sunday 11/28, crossing our fingers that it wasn't packed. We were in luck! In all, I think there may have been about 7 other families there while we were. Parking was easy, just a short walk downhill to enjoy the main staging area. They have some fun décor in the "barnyard" area, and we were immediately greeted by someone (I am guessing an owner). With a very friendly demeanor, they outlined the way everything works. We were given a saw and options: ride the tractor-drawn wagon down or walk; cut the tree or choose one that was already cut; drag the tree out to the road for the wagon to bring it up; or take a sled to drag it up ourselves. DGD spotted "my perfect tree!" that of course was at the farthest point from the barnyard. ;) But it was really nice to walk through the different varieties and enjoy the scents and sounds of trees (it was windy). After some initial bickering between DGS & DGD (they are siblings, after all) they took turns sawing at the trunk until TIMBER! down it came. After starting to drag it uphill, they decided a sled was a good idea so the kids went back up and brought one down. Hilarity ensued. The tree kept rolling off the sled, until finally my SIL said he'd just carry it and hoisted it onto his shoulder. Then the kids found it super fun to drag each other on the sled. Then they took turns riding while DD dragged it. I even took a turn dragging DGD (the boy was too heavy for me! He's 12 now!) Anyway, by the time we reached the barnyard, the tree had been shaken and baled, ready to load onto the Nanamobile's roof. The others took a quick peek at the small shop, while I stood by the tree and enjoyed the firepit. Kids were hoping for hot chocolate, but the shop just had Christmas decorations. Their trees are reasonably priced, I believe $55 for anything up to 6' and $10 per foot over that, but don't quote me. SIL paid for it so I wasn't involved, BUT he did say they give a 10% military discount. They take cash & plastic. Everyone was very friendly and I imagine we'll be back next year!

The first time I was charged $4 for a single tomato which seemed like a lot(they're $4 a pound). I weighed it at home and it was only 1/2 lb. I realized that I had not seen the scale and was charged twice what it should have been. Today I went back, got 1 tomato and was told it was $4. I asked to see the scale which was turned so couldn't see it. I should have been charged $3 for a 3/4 lb tomato. when I pointed this out I was told "WE ROUND UP!!" I WONT BE GOING BACK UPDATE I was able to speak to someone in charge and I believe this won't be happening in the future. I also believe it isn't necessarily happening at other locations. I will continue you go there but I advise you to check the scale when things are weighed just because it makes sense to do that
