If I could give zero stars, EVEN NEGATIVE, I would! DO NOT…read moretake any double coated or wooly long haired dogs or ANY dog here! They do not know what they are doing! My dogs wanted out so bad! I do not think my dogs were treated well at all! and they are in pain and still have fur that is knotted and matted! They also did absolutely no trimming or cutting of the hair, just complete hard brushing and pulling on my poor dogs skin! They also did not clean ears, cut nails, trim the fur around the feet, the back end, the ears, the face and did not brush underneath of them or their tails! What in the world did they do for 5 hours?!? I was in tears for putting my sweet pups thru this! Please do NOT go here! This is why you can get an appointment immediately! My pups loved the groomers and now they are terrified and in pain AND injured!!! Please stay far away from here! and no thank you from them for the tip that NEVER should have been given!! I should have received a phone call saying that they could not work on my dogs as they have no experience in dealing with thick double coated long hair! Horrible and so upsetting! Extremely overpriced for work that was NOT done!!! But Its not even the money! I'm so upset for my dogs and the pain that this is causing for my sweet babies and the sores! And the supposed owner did NOT work on my dogs! And they were still working (supposedly) on my one when I got there!! He looks like they only brushed him when I got there! Who knows what kind of people that she has working behind the scenes, they obviously are not trained in grooming and I don't believe they are even kind to the dogs!! The supposed owner let my one dog loose with no collar or leash on and she pushed the door open and ran outside and did not want to come back in!!! My pups wanted out of there, SO BAD, that they, literally tried to run from there and she just stood there, doing nothing, watching my dog leave! Thank God, I was able to get her! They also left a dog chained on the grooming table, all by himself unattended when I walked in, and was still there when I left 30 minutes later! This dog could have seriously hurt himself! Please do NOT take your dogs here! I am so sorry I did! My poor dogs are SO traumatized and in pain! I am so upset and mad!!! And my dogs were not given ANY water, they were panting SO much and they didn't want to stop drinking when I got them to my car after we left! STAY FAR AWAY!

Would rate this place -10000…read more We have a 245 pound Great pyrenees, he does not like being clean so we reach out to Bob and he assured us he specializes in big dogs. He was 45 minutes late. We told him our Silas (that's his name) is a lot stubborn. Bob told us his 20 years of working with dogs and he will be fine. Bob put the leash on Silas and he did not want to go out the front door. Bob literally dragged him out the door. Then Bob dragged him across the front lawn and before I had a chance to tell Bob to stop Silas was already in the camper Bob used for his service. Silas was in the mobile camper for about 90 minutes. Then on the front house camera I see Silas pulling Bob up the lawn so he can get away from this guy. Meet Bob at the front door and our Silas was bleeding on his left dew claw, Bob began to lie to us saying the dew claw was wrapped into his pad. This is not true because our neighbor cuts all our boy's nails. At this time my wife is crying her eyes out, she called our neighbor as he has always helped us in the past. Buy this time I'm ready to just grab Bob an toss him out. Silas was heavy panting and any dog owners would know he was under a great deal of stress. I gave Bob his $200.00 as this is what we agreed on and asked him nicely to just leave. My Silas has not been the same, this all happened on 5/15/2023. I just try and let Silas know this will never happen to him again. We have text Stephanie for our receipt as Bob never gave us one. She has not responded. Now today I noticed Silas left eye top area all blood shot. All this tells me is Bob doesn't know how to handle animals. Painting a picture for you all, Bob came not dressed for the job he wants, the white camper looked all beaten up on the outside with no advertising on the sides. I will say people do your homework when dealing with something like this. Rest assured I will be telling everyone who will listen about this horrible experience. I will be putting a complaint to the better business bureau and to see if he is licensed in the State of Delaware. I would not let this guy and his company clean a stuff animal. We did some searching for dog groomers but it was all way too much than she needed. Then we found BubblyPaws, which has a self-service dog wash with no reservations necessary. It was fantastic! We were led to a step-in tub for her and shampoo and conditioner were provided, as well as ear wipes, perfume, and a blow dry (with ear protection for her). We even got aprons to wear and brushes to get all that extra fur out. All that for only $22 AND THE BEST PART we didn't have to clean up the fur afterwards! So much easier than trying to do this in our bathtub at home. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I found Peaceable Groomer at that time and was thrilled with the one on one attention and my dog was manageable during the sessions. I moved and recently moved back and was overjoyed to find Peaceable Groomer still in operation. My dog is now 13 and still a nervous wreck when he has to be groomed but Lynn is so patient and takes all the time necessary to be sure it is a good experience for my dog and for me too. You can't get any better than this.
