Nightmare of a company. We brought these guys in to help identify which condenser belonging to my…read moreunit and to help troubleshoot it. It took multiple call outs just for them to identify the wrong unit. I helped them power cycle, spent time with them troubleshooting etc. They didn't test scientifically eg with a voltage checker etc. They proceeded to repair the my neighbors units thinking it was mine, and this resulted in them damaging the unit. I was finally able to identify that my condenser unit was in an obscure place with zero help from them. They then proceeded to clean the right unit. Of course they blamed me for telling them the wrong condenser which is a lie and doesn't make sense as that's what we called them in for. This was already a horrible experience for all involved. To make things worse they then decided to bill me for the identification of the unit! Which again, they also admit they didn't do by blaming me for identifying the wrong unit. I said I'd only pay for the cleaning after the hours wasted. When I refused to pay, they sent me to collections. Stay away. They need their license taken away for the safety of us all.

My Friedrich air conditioner was not turning on, they had the replacement part in stock, and after calling them on a Monday morning, they were at my place by 10:30 AM on Wednesday. One of the team members called on Wednesday morning to confirm and give a more accurate time on when his technician would arrive. The technician replaced the part quickly, obviously knew what he was doing, and even gave some suggestions on how to extend the cool air into my bedroom from the living room (I only have one unit in the whole apartment). Finally, by chance I got hold of SohoHVAC and John spent time discussing the issue in detail with me before he came to diagnose in person and when he did come he fixed the issue in no time at all, as what he originally diagnosed was the problems so he came prepared. At the end of summer I usually call them to have them remove it so I can close the window. Yet this time I was cheap and didn't call them to remove the unit. During the recent snow storm we got major drafts coming in that made it uncomfortably cold. So I called Joe and he had his guys out here in a jiffy to remove the unit.
