The bad first, ordered the Lamb Rib. Do not recommend unless you like it very fatty. Sauce was tasty, side vegies steamed. Now the highlights. Beef fajitas were great! Finished meal with Mexican coffee which was to my surprise a table side entertainment flame show (see photo). Then came the banana flambay. Another table side flame show (see GIF). Both were entertaining and delicious. I heard from another couple that the pasta was also delicious. Recommend this place with exception of Lamb!

We started with margaritas on the rocks no salt. We did not get the tourist pour for sure. Halfway through we were both tripping the light fantastic. We both enjoyed their chips and dipping sauces as we waited for our entrees. Hats off to our server who when asked if he recommended the ceviche a quick negative nod steered us away. I ordered el pastor tacos with seasoned mahi mahi fish. I was on the fence about this dish but man was it good. Nothing like fresh fish and homemade tortillas! Plus one ordered beef enchiladas and she exclaimed these were the best she ever had. I tried them and they did have a little spice to them but they were darn good. For dessert we asked for a smooth sipping tequila (don't judge we were on beach time) and a beer to split. This reasonably priced local resposado was as smooth as a baby's behind. Service was attentive throughout and we had a great conversation with our server regarding the town. What a nice way to while away an afternoon on their patio.

With plastic chairs they should put cushions on top to prevent sweating. (Our hotel has cushions on the outdoor dining areas because it's so hot here and sitting outside can be uncomfortable without a cushion). For our meal we ordered the specials. While beautifully plated somehow it lacked a little flavor on mine. My hubby had prawns with sailfish in garlic butter. Also we were given a fish amuse bouche which had 3 chili pepper condiments. They were all very very spicy. I barely had any, like a tiny taste and my husband as well, the result later being that my husband and and I were pretty sick all night and the next day. He actually had to go to the doctor 2 days later as he was still quite ill and in pain. While There was a significant burning in my stomach from the chili acid, he believes his situation was probably some bacteria in the food which is too bad because the restaurant is pretty upscale and clean so I doubt we got it from the ice. Anyways we can't go back. I also think the waiters could check on the diners to see how the food is after you start eating to make sure it's ok, like other waiters at these surrounding restaurants do. Somehow This never happened.
