This was the worst experience with a supplier of materials that I have had in 6 home remodels and one new build. One person had no idea what another was doing, the orders were messed up, the front door measurement was off and more. The operations were completely a mess. They told us to expect delivery of interior doors and baseboards on a particular day, so we had people at the house to do the install ... no show, no call. When I called they said, Oh, Maybe next week. Several weeks later, they arrived. We ordered a nice wood front door. It took 3 months to arrive. They delivered it not realizing that they had ordered the wrong glass for the door and sidelights. They got the bid correct, but then ordered something else. Took another few months to get it right. No apologies for the mistake, no sorry for the inconvenience. Nada. Just got the bill and no deduction from full price for a great deal of aggravation and a 6 month delay. read more

Horrible customer service. If you ever have the unfortunate opportunity to work with Gina, you'll see what I mean. I picked and ordered an entire home of doors and moulding. They allowed the contractor to come in and make changes to my order without my consent. This resulted in the contractor charging me extra to remove and replace. They ordered a wood front door that had incorrect glass. They corrected this by offering to change out the glass rather than order the door I picked out. This glass replacement was poorly done and resulted in damage to the door. I would not recommend using this business. read more

In Feb 2017 I called Atascadero Door to repair one of two patio doors they sold and installed. The door was 2 years old and had delaminated in the 2016-2017 winter rains. I called, I showed up in person at their business, I brought photos of the damage to them and I wrote them letters. After denying the warranty, they finally agreed to make repairs, but there has been no attempt to follow thru. It is now Feb 2018, one year later, and still no show, no call and no repairs from Atascadero Door. Because of their stonewall, I dealt directly with the manufacturer in Ohio, who, under warranty shipped me a new pair of doors! The lesson learned is that unless you are a contractor buying doors in bulk, Atascadero Door doesn't feel you're important enough to waste their time with you after the sale.
