Yesterday two gentlemen from Aggson's arrived to replace a large, 5' X 5', arched window in the front of our home. The window is seen primarily from our living room even though it is in a room downstairs, but you can see through it from the kitchen also. The window is a major feature of the house. The living room overlooks the large office/library downstairs; the arched window is above sliding glass doors downstairs, so working on the window begins at 6' off the floor. My mom wanted to use the same company to replace a second slider in the same home so she went with Aggson's again, and they did a great job! This is an update from my review on 10/2/2022 in response to the owner of Aggson's glass. He is mistaken when he stated that the picture is of the window prior to his replacement. The window that was replaced had tint on it with no circle. The picture I submitted was taken after his installation on March 10th well past his February date. I sent other photos to prompt him to come see the windows for himself, when he saw the windows he told me I was being "too fussy". He left without doing anything and refused to do anything. He did give me the $500 discount but that he stated in an email to me was for coming to my house three times without checking first that the glass was the proper size. I still paid him $2,423 for windows that have all failed, several with circles in between the two pieces of glass . I find it interesting that he has not contacted me directly about my review and chooses to go the public route. I attempted to get some kind of customer service before this review and I was met with the comment that I was being "too fussy" and his refusal to do anything to correct it. Accountability on his part was what I was hoping for and I was met with a hostile reply. I have let my neighbors and friends know the issues and they will also not be using Aggson's glass. I have included another picture taken again after the installation was completed. read more

If I could give Aggeson's 10 stars, I would. I called and talked to Jessica and she was so nice and we were off to a great start. I told her that I needed someone to come and give me an estimate and fix a slider in a rental I owned. He was free at an earlier time and called and asked me if he could come sooner. WHAT? That never happens. I met him at my rental and he was informative, personable, efficient, and so pleasant. I was so happy with the work done. While Aggson's was not the least-expensive place from which I solicited bids, I felt their product line was slightly better and I was generally more impressed in a way I couldn't describe at the time. When they installed my 1/2 slider picture window, screen door, and sliding glass door lock, their professionalism and knowledge were evident. They did a thorough job with the installation and cleanup, but I was most impressed with the time and attention they put into the sliding glass door lock, which was a total pain and generally uncooperative. At little benefit to them, they put forth the time and effort to make sure it was done properly and secure. Both installers were also pleasant and friendly. I will be a return customer when my next window needs to be installed. read more

I got a piece of frosted plexiglass for a minimum price. The guys in the shop were honest and helpful. They cut the glass perfect. The inventory is amazing there. Had Aggson's replace 6 windows in our house in SLO, where our daughter goes to school at Cal-Poly. The roommates had complained that the windows were drafty, didn't open and close easily and were not safe to leave open at night. Rob and his team replaced them with a high-quality brand, did an expert job extracting the old ones and seamlessly putting in the new ones, and did it at a fair price. I have used Aggson's Glass on a number of different occasions. The last time I had them cut me a bunch of glass cabinet doors for a large display unit, and supply all the mounting hardware. All the glass doors were cut square and perfect to size, and everything installed easily. They even let me borrow one of their tools to help with the install. Great experience with Aggson's Glass. I am a renter and the property management company arranged to have my sliding door and screen checked out. They were able to come out and were quite pleasant. They looked at my screen and thought the whole thing needed to be replaced. They looked at the door (who knew it could just be lifted off its runners??) and recommended that only the rollers needed to be replaced. They took measurements and later they came out to work. I left them in the apartment while I had something else I had to do. Left them my number in case there were any issues and said they could text if needed. I returned to the most smooth-running door and beautiful new screen door!! SO happy, so are my downstairs neighbors who no longer have to listen to my door scraping loudly closed!! I'm not sure why events unfolded as they did with Aggson's Glass in SLO. I came in there to get some general estimates on window purchase/installation for a house. What transpired was something akin to the scene from Pretty Woman -- where Julia Roberts walks into a clothes shop on Rodeo Drive, only to be denied service and shooed out of the store. My interaction with the (owners? store clerks?) at Aggson's was not as severe, but they were definitely trying to get me out of there -- even though I certify I was not dressed in street-walker clothes. In fact, I brought in a cheerful smile and tried to be as pleasant as possible, even with the kind of attitude I was subjected to from the store representatives. So what went down, exactly? I brought in a list of different window measurements from around the house, as well as a picture of the broken window I was trying to replace in the immediate future. I asked if it would be possible to get a general quote to retrofit dual-pane windows for some of the sizes, as well as to replace just the glass on the broken window, just to get an idea of what kinds of costs I'm looking at. I got a terse "$500 per window" response from the gentleman who was "helping me," even though he glanced at my list for less than 10 seconds. There was this sense of gruffness/urgency in his voice that was fairly evident, as if he thought I was some snot-nosed 30-year-old trying to play games with him... Which I thought quite strange, since I was sincere in my questions, and the store was completely empty aside from myself and the two representatives. I asked him some follow-up questions, got the littlest bit of information from him and his lady co-worker, and got out of there in under 10 minutes flat. It was not a pleasant experience by anyone's standard. So: maybe I came in at a bad time? Maybe they were thinking I wasn't worth the effort, given my appearance? I have no idea, but I certainly didn't venture inside with a "wife-beater" and shorts. And heck, even if I did, that really shouldn't matter. Will I return to them after purchasing windows from elsewhere, and utter the "big mistake -- huge!" line? Probably not. Will I recommend Aggson's to anyone? Probably not. Will this review make all the difference in the world, and cause Aggson's to go out of business? Still, probably not. But at least now you know my experience with Aggson's, and I hope this review causes them to re-think their strategy and provide a better experience for you. read more

I took the 7 screens in, was immediately helped with a quote and they were able to finish them for me for pickup the following day. Aggson's Glass was recommended highly by a friend in the Kiwanis as THE place to call when I was ready to retrofit the windows in my condo. I called and Rob came out and gave me an estimate. I ordered the windows from him and they were installed in 2011. I am delighted with the quality of my new windows...they are standing the test of time well and five of my neighbors have subsequently replaced their windows...three of them using Aggson's two of them not. In comparison, Aggson's is head and shoulders above in installation and quality and the cost was about the same. I highly recommend Rob and his crew. Well the rating for them is spot on I had some windows that the seals had gone bad some others were almost impossible to open screens that were ready to be replaced so in searching I made a couple of calls and everyone wanted to replace everything or nothing and I sure didn't feel none of the bad windows needed to be replaced anyway Rob came out explained everything that he thought needed to be replaced or repaired gave me what I thought was a very fair price. Matter of fact I had taken one of my screens to a repair shop and had to wait a week to get it back. But that's another story and there price was higher than Rob's and with him I got all new frames for less money. When it came time to have the repairs they showed up with three guys working very fast cleaned up there mess hauled away all the old glass screens now my glass, screens work perfectly thanks to Rob and Aggson's glass read more

When I first moved to this area over 15 years ago, I met Alan and Gail, the original owners of Aggson's Glass Company. They installed my shutters and did an excellent job. I recently had the opportunity to work with their son Rob with a bathroom remodel where he installed a huge beveled mirror over the sink and I am currently waiting on a handle for him to install the shower door. I found him to be very attentive. There was a slight problem with the defective adhesive dripping afterwards on the tile grout. He immediately came over to remove the mirror requesting that he pay for replacing the grout in the affected area. Since then, the mirror has been re-installed and is gorgeous. The next project is the master bathroom which will require another beveled mirror, glass shower stall and door, and a glass partition next to the toilet. I plan to use them again. read more

My side mirror glass on my 1999 Pontiac Bonneville fell off while driving. Came to Aggson's Glass at 4:15 Pm. After a quick look, they determined it could be fixed by custom cutting a new mirror.
