Bad service. I ordered some replacement parts for my windows. They had to be special ordered. After about a week I got a call that the parts had arrived and I could come down and pick them up. When I got to the counter I was told that one of the employees had the parts at their house and he wasn't in. No "sorry" for the inconvenience, no apology, no offer to mail me the parts. I'll take my business someplace else. read more

We had Estero Glass replace a Milgard window installed by Atascadero Glass that leaked like a sieve over the last 4 winters. Atascadero Glass had come out numerous times to "fix" the problem and I had caulked everything within 15 feet of the window to no avail. Estero Glass completely replaced the window with a custom window that was built in, and NOT a slide-in which the Milgard was. They did good work and completed the job in one day. In the recent torrential rains, the new window did not leak a drop. This was a great relief as we had spent the last 4 winters rotating towels on the window ledge to prevent water damage to the dry wall. A word of advice: AVOID slide in windows, unless you have a stucco house. The only thing preventing water intrusion into your house is a thin line of caulk. And we know that caulk eventually fails. We have other very minor leaks from these crappy Milgard slide-ins, which we will have Estero Glass eventually replace. I can highly recommend them. They do quality work and the owner was very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to hire them for any glass work you may need. read more

We had another great start to finish experience with Estero Glass. Today we had four replacement skylights installed. The entire process was pretty seamless. I stopped by the shop to inquire about skylights and made an appointment for a measure. Oscar came out to measure, a week or so later, I received a quote. We placed the order and Oscar called when he wanted to schedule the installation. Today, Emmett and Rico came out to do the installation. They were efficient, courteous and respectful of our property. The installation went smoothly and we are again completely pleased with Estero Glass and their outstanding customer service. read more

Have bought all our windows over the years (since 1974) from Estero Glass, which entailed 3 owners. All of them ran a GREAT business We bought some Milguard Windows from there when Floyd had the place (last owner) They are starting to fog up and have a lifetime warranty. I filed a claim with Milguard and all they need is the part number. I cannot find it on the window. Called Estero Glass to see if they could help me. They claimed they didn't keep any records (somewhat understandable) and said it would cost $90.00 for someone to drive 5 minutes and look at a window. I have had recent surgery on my knee so cant climb up there. Sure do miss the old Morro Bay. As the review below from RK said "they are running off reputation of previous owners" which they clearly could not hold a candle to. Where did these awful people come from? Last May (2025) a utilities contracted gardener broke my slider with a stone hurled by a weed whacker. As one can imagine it was a maze to go through PG&E, and the subcontracted gardening company. Complicated and time consuming. I called several companies about replacing the glass. All in the larger cities said it wasn't a big enough job for them to come, and the local small company was a combination of Abbot and Costello mixed with the Keystone Cops. The people at Estero Glass said they'd be happy to come. Their estimate was over $100 more than the local company. It took quite a while for PG&E and the gardening company to arrive at the amount they were willing to give me which was the lower of the 2 estimates. In the meanwhile Jordan at Estero Glass would periodically check in with me to ask if I was doing ok through the process and let me know I could call on them if they could be of any help. They never once even brought up the job itself; no pressure at all. For their kindness and help I decided to go with them even though there would be some out of pocket on my end as they were the higher estimate, and I told them as much. They sent me a revised estimate with a credit of $100 listed as Customer Appreciation. A tech come out - Larry, I think - and did an amazing job of installation and clean-up. I completely forgot to write this review until now when I need a new window so I am just about to call them. I regret the tardiness of writing, but their business is run on the highest levels in every department, which is why I'll be calling them again this afternoon. **** LESSSS THAN ZERO STARS This company does not value your business! We placed an order for a custom greenhouse window in December of last year. We gave a very specific blueprint with dimensions and close to scale drawing of EXACTLY what we wanted. That is how windows work. The dimensions are shown in the drawing I provided in the picture I posted and very clearly in the paper work I obtained from them. The documents from Estero Glass show they sent an order for the exact dimensions I provided them. When we went to pick up the window, the window was 10-11 inches wider than the window we ordered. When I brought this issue to the company it became clear I had chosen a SCAM company that doesn't need my business or respect. Rather than apologize and correct the situation, they became almost hostile and insisted that we were wrong and refused to correct the situation or refund any of our money. After my husband obtained the document with our order that confirmed they had actually given us the wrong window I knew I had all the proof I needed to take the to small claims court and easily win. I wrongly assumed that informing them we were taking them to small claims court would elicit a response. After no response my husband and I legally picketed their business with signs saying they stole our money and were scammed. During this time one of the employees of Estero Glass left the office and proceeded to do an entire sexual "jerk off" motion to me using his head and verbal noises imitating a sexual act. That is HIGHLY inappropriate for any man to do to ANY woman. In this case coming from an employee of the company in question, it proved to me what type of people we were dealing with. We were also screamed at by another employee calling us "F*ing losers" , at one point an employee came out yelling that we "didn't even pay for the window." LITERAL receipts pictured. We received overwhelming support and response from the community during the uncomfortable process, this is a small town and the people here have expressed their frustration with many similar experiences . It's not like we enjoy doing this, we'd rather be looking through our greenhouse window. These a is a NEW owner living off the reputation of the previous respected owners. Please consider what has been a nightmare for my family, I have had my kitchen torn up since December waiting for this window. This was an investment into our retirement home and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. Good - they honored their quote even though their costs were higher. Have used them several times over the years for glass. My business front door window was broken. Within a few days they were able to come out and repair it. The technician who came out and did the repair was very efficient and able to remove the cracked glass without making a huge mess. He also cleaned up very well after the install. If I could give zero stars, I would. We dropped off a broken mirror and were told they could replace it with a new piece of mirror. Five weeks later, numerous phone calls, we picked it up to take it somewhere else. The staff never called us with updates, info, or anything else. Every time we called them to ask about the mirror, we were told they hadn't gotten to it yet. Finally we were told they lost the paperwork. Lousy customer service. Terrible communication. We called Estero Glass to request an estimate to repair a large atrium skylight and got an appt. for the following week. Tim, who has been with the company for years was wearing a mask, didn't touch anything in the house due to Covid-19. He gave us a thorough examination of the skylight from inside the house and from atop the roof. He was very informative, careful, articulate, and knowledgeable. They had to redo my screens/window two times because they couldn't get the measurements right the first two times. I didn't pay extra for the multiple visits, but I had to take time off to back at the house 3 times. In that sense their lack of competence did cost me more. read more

The Estero Glass folks are amazing! When called, they were prompt, professional, and down right nice people to work with ... I was totally impressed! The Milgard Windows come with a warranty and unfortunately a few years down the road they seemed to be defective. Estero Glass came right out and made sure they were replaced within the week - now that is service! I have used other companies in the past to do various jobs ~ nothing compares!
