Although he had set service appointments in the morning, he said try to be onsite the same day if possible. He contacted me about noon and advised he'd be there in 30 minutes, and was right on the estimated time. After inspecting the refrigerator he diagnosed a freon leak and discussed the costs and potential for further problems even after a repair. I was impressed with his commitment to ensuring a quality outcome and his concern about the age of the refrigerator requiring more expensive repairs in the near future. He could have made a significant amount of money fixing something in the short term, but chose to focus on ensuring I well-informed about likely near-term additional costs. The battery percentage is wildly going up and down and the phone CANNOT recognize the battery. I know I have warranty on the screen. Now there's new people there, and wants to charge me for diagnostics on the phone even after telling them about the situation. They never asked my name nor do they even want to look up the info. I've lost all my interest in cell phone repair stores... especially this one. I decided to do the battery replacement. Well, during the battery replacement (at NO FAULT OF SAM'S), something happened with my phone, but my Face ID stopped working. He tried to do a few troubleshoots but couldn't fix that (we think it was from damage previously, but who knows...I never had issues with it, and I am NOT FAULTING SAM!). So, I decided to trade it in for the quote he gave me and got a new (used) iPhone. Sam is beyond professional. He was warm, welcoming, and very engaging. He made me feel like I was an old friend.
