Panicky, I stopped at Medlyn and went inside; I explained the problem and Ed came outside, checked the tires, and put air in all four of them for me. He had the tools needed to remove the caps and did it all cheerfully and kindly. I will continue spreading the good word about this service shop and highly recommend them. Since you can pull up to any auto parts store and have your battery and alternator tested for free, I do not see this charge as fair or competitive at all. An hour and a half labor charge to replace a battery totaling $230? Oh and the battery was marked up atleast 100% as well, $274 plus fees. The Advisor, Frank, hurried me thru the check out process because he knew these charges were severely overpriced. Oh and I noticed their billing address was out of state, which means they are probably not too invested in the Milford area. Never again Commonwealth Automotive, you lost a customer. I do not recommend this business.
