They gave me a rental to use while it was in the shop which was awesome. The heater was fixed in a reasonable amount of time, but the exact issue couldn't be determined initially. It's concerning to me when things are repeatedly taken apart and put together because things are inadvertently forgotten or broken. I conducted my own regular maintenance today and noticed a mirror tool was left in my engine bay, there were screws loose, hoses not reattached, clips undone, etc. It's great that my issue was fixed, but this is the reason I'm hesitant to bring my car in to dealerships. Everything I found was on the surface, I don't have peace of mind that things were done properly deeper in the engine bay towards the heating parts. It's understandable that shops get busy, but it's the attention to detail that matters for me. I don't think any techs would do the same when working on their own vehicle.

Day after buying vehicle, turn wipers on and passenger side one flies off. Had to zip tie it on so i could see to drive. Within about a week or two, check engine light came on. Had it checked out at local place. (I live about 3 hours from dealership). Came up as an O2 sensor. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I traded in my Kia and some cash for this vehicle. It has been one thing after another. It has been leaking antifreeze and getting worse. Took it to the garage today and was told it's the water pump and it's inside the motor. The part alone is $900something dollars and about 12 hours of labor. Call the dealership and they want to know if I bought any kind of warranty. I tell them I don't know because the finance guy put a stack of papers on the showroom desk in front of me and said sign all of these. NOTHING was explained to me as to what I was signing. Guy I spoke to named Matt is who I talked to on my third call to them after the other 2 people never called me back. He says there is nothing they can do to help me. I have not even made a payment yet on this vehicle. On a fixed income, I don't have the almost $2000 to fix it plus make the payment on it. I have already spoken to an attorney about this.

They didn't even pull it into the garage and charged me $74 to tell me I needed a new Starter Motor. Which was already known. So here's the full story-- Called early morning Wednesday (7:09am), The mechanic that answered looked at the schedule and said he could take a look and to bring it in. It was towed and dropped off at 7:50am. They couldn't get to it (I'm a single mom so had to rent a car to pick up my son from school) They called me the following day Thursday at 12:40pm, telling me they didn't pull it into the garage or run a full diagnostic as I requested, but instead they tried starting it up and that the Starter Motor needs to be replaced. (We figured that much) -- Noticing I will need an oil change soon they added that in, for a total of $880.00 for the repair. I asked for the price without the oil change and she said $728. NEARLY $160 for an oil change is absurd. When I asked about the diagnostic and why I was being charged for a diagnostic when they didnt even give me any information we didnt already know, and they didnt run a full diagnostic, I was faced with an attitude and told "we could have charged you $140 for an hour of diagnostics, but we only charged you for a half-hour". I'm sorry does pushing the start button on a vehicle take 30 minutes? As someone that lives a block away and this is the most convenient place, I STILL wouldn't go back. Even the guys at O'Reilys said they were total rip offs.
