The space is mostly catered to kids, but we saw people of all ages crafting and chatting. On a warmer day, we probably would have sat outside as it can get really crowded inside. We were never bumped, but sometimes kids would run by on their way to get paint. My only other complaint (which is more so my fault) was that we sat at stools at a shorter table so I was hunched over for a while. I'm just old. The staff was really friendly, and I like that there's a BYOB policy. I would probably suggest going later in the evening to avoid all the birthday parties as it was pretty quiet when we came to pick up our piece near closing.

For the class we got to practice on some paper before jumping into our pillow case that we got to pick out a fan pattern and take home! I will be returning back for the part 2 of this class! The instructor for our class couldn't be bothered to label our pieces, which caused embarrassing mix-ups during the pick up process. Get this: the instructor knew exactly whose pieces were who's but still had admin conduct a passive aggressive email witch hunt to students. Wouldn't you rather just be told you picked up the wrong piece, as opposed to being blindly led down some weird path of discovery? Yeah. Me too. But hey, I was offered $10 off my next $125+ class. She answered all of our questions, and we were able to put our own spin on soaps with inlaid tiny animals. We then got to choose our scents and continue mixing until it was time to pour it into the mold. We placed our tiny animals into the soaps and carefully arranged them, so that we could cut the soaps up. We got nine bars of soap!!! She was very helpful when I wanted to make my own cards and told me what kind of bags I could get for the soaps.
