The piano does work, if you were wondering.

I vaguely remember seeing a post about Atelier Jolie way back when it had opened, but definitely forgot about it until my friend mentioned it during our scramble to find a cafe with good drinks and seats on a nice Friday afternoon. Atelier Jolie has a unique scent bar and some clothing racks at the front. Walked along the corridor and you reach a surprising cafe with seating in the back. The drinks and treats seem to be internationally inspired, with special focus on Middle Eastern flavors. I was too full, so I just had the Argentinian lemonade. Our drinks were served promptly, and I was glad they displayed the wifi password right at the register instead of hiding it in a tiny print on the receipt, or worse, keeping it hidden only to be divulged to those brave souls who dare to ask the baristas (aka an introvert's nightmare). The space is beautifully decorated. I loved my lemonade, as it was not too sweet but also not too overwhelming. The calm and artistic decor evoked many conversations. I saw people on the large communal table in the middle test out scents from the mix-your-own perfume bar. I was sad I did not know about it, as I would have loved to try it out. But by the time we were done with drinks, the line for the scent bar was quite deep.

I saw this lovely place on IG and KNEW I had to visit. I went yesterday. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but the first thing I noticed was the smell of the place. It was a tad musty smelling like mildew, which is weird because the only carpet in the place is a runner at the front of the store. Other than that, when I got to the back where the café is located, it doesn't smell like that. I had the matcha latte with homemade strawberry sauce. Delicious! And the prices are reasonable considering who owns the joint. And the music? Ahh! Bossa nova. Uptempo jazz. Soft rock. Service was good. The server reminded me of a cartoon French person. He was cool but just not giving typical American server vibes. Will return.

As you enter into Atelier Jolie, the smell of incense greets you. There are curated collections of beautiful garments hanging, waiting to go home with the right person. If you walk to the back of the store, you enter into the cafe, Eat Offbeat. I came with a friend and ordered a Cardamom Pistachio Latte and a slice of Orange Olive Oil Cake. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is very peaceful. I really enjoyed my time here, and look forward to coming back.

This spot is such an aesthetic vibe! Has free wifi and great for coworking (but not much outlet space) All the pastries are amazing! I always get the rose latte! They serve middle eastern flavors and support refugees!
