Luckily this Nordstrom Rack is close to the train station so it is very convenient to commute here. Came here to find a sterling silver bracelet or necklace by Argento and there were a few sterling silver left. I must admit Nordstrom organizes their jewelry well. All the boxes were neatly displayed on their shelves. Just the bad thing is the top shelf is very high and you need assistance or a ladder to look at them so that sucks. This is one of the most organized stores ever with all the accessories lined up and stored in an orderly fashion. There are rarely any loose accessories or misplaced product in the store. Made the shopping vibe feel a lot better. It is also very clean and carpet is nice to walk on without any dirt or loose garbage. By the checkout, there are aisles of mini and travel size lotions and facial cleansers from Kiehl's and Clinique that are almost winding down so they are that popular! I thought the cashiers were kind of slow because there were 3 of them working on the customers when there were so many cashier registers available for employees to go to. Let's talk about busy stores. This place offer really nice sales but due to their location this store is always very packed but this store is not messy at all. They do offer high end merchandise on sale here too The people who work here are on top their game making sure everything is in order. Their shoe section is where I always start first. There was a woman who was making sure all shoes and boots were neatly put back on the shelves. She was actively monitoring all the activitie in her section which really makes it a pleasure to shop here. It is definitely a nice place to shop. It's always a hit or miss for me. When I get lucky I do get some great deals. I think the only problem I have here is that they no longer offer bathrooms for customers for whatever reasons. Which can be very inconvenient for shoppers. When you have an arm full of merchandise and there is a long line to pay then you realize you have to go to the bathroom, lol what to do?! read more

I've been a loyal nordies cardholder and shopper for years. I was disappointed when I came to do a return and they had relocated the order pick up area to another part of the store... When I got there, there wasn't anyone staffing that area. Despite pressing the bell several times and asking other employee if they know if the staff will be coming. Waited over 15-20mins for a staffer to be at the counter. Was told that order pick up no longer does returns and that I would need to go to the check out line to process my orders. This was disappointing as when you select to return an order, the instructions usually tell you to go to the order pick up area. As I've done in the past, which used to be easy returns. That was one of my favorite things about this location. So disappointed to see this change. I hope they will change it back in the future. Other shoppers waiting in line also felt the same as I did about this change. The line for the register was long and intimidating but moving. The cashiers worked efficiently to keep the line moving! I commend their great effort!! The cashier I got was sweet and easy to work and great to converse work. I bought a diamond tennis bracelet online that I received in the beginning of November 2024. The cost was over $300. The bracelet split beginning in May. I brought it back to the store in Westbury. The check out/return line took about 15 minutes to get to a casher. There I was told that it was beyond the return window and there was nothing they could do for me. The store manager told me to call the 800 number and they would send me a return label and could refund my purchase. I called the 800 number only to be told by a team leader that returning it meant a 50% RESTOCKING fee and the balance would be a gift card. It was such a ridiculous offer that I had no choice but to refuse. Ok so now I know that buying from the Rack means a very small window to return. Long lines at check out. And they will not stand behind a costly purchase that is defective. Unbelievable. read more

I was at the 14th street location in NYC on Sunday and upon stepping into the mens dressing room area with two Theory shirts in hand a young female attendant without looking up barked at me " Stand outside until somebody tells you to come in!! " She was aggressive in tone and just ugly. It takes a lot for me to actually come here and write a review, but this might be the WORST nordstrom rack in all of America... And I've been to many across the states. The lack of stock was unfortunate to begin with, but the staff was really the driving factor for me writing this review. They don't have a separate section for returns, so you have to wait in the slowest line you've ever been in because they only have 3-4 people working the registers. On top of that, because most of these people are processing returns, they wonder off to put the returns somewhere or retag them or something... By the time you actually get to a register you are greeted with unfriendly employees working at a clearly understaffed store. There was no urgency or sense of hospitality from the staff, and it felt like I was inconvenience. Will not return any time soon. read more

After making an online purchase from this company, I was (and still am) being bombarded with spam email messages offering me more of their worthless garbage products. When I made the purchase as a guest user, they decided to use my order email address to send me constant email messages - we're talking 3-4 messages per day! I contacted them no less than 7-8 times both by email and by phone asking them to stop sending the spam messages. They ignored each request to cease sending spam. This review is solely my opinion about this business and you might find that your experience differs from mine. I fell in love with a North Face Jacket 40% off for $89.00. They didn't have my size. I would have bought it in a heartbeat! My daughter bought cute panties and a huge bottle of body lotion. The lotion was $12.00. It was huge. I saw a lot of items I haven't found elsewhere. Most were too pricey for me. They had Ladies Baseball Caps (Yankees and METS) for $14.99. It was tempting but I refrained! I have enough hats! These were the good brand too that I love. Well, when my ship comes in I can shop here. Bought an "Avec Les Filles" from Nordstrom Rack thinking the quality should at least be acceptable. I put it in the closest and only took it out after 6 weeks of wanting to try it out for the Fall season. To my horror, the coat fur looks "damaged". I took this to Nordstrom Rack Union Square where I bought it, and they refused to do anything about it because it's 4 days past their return policy. What do they expect me to do? Itemize everything in my closet every day to make sure nothing gets damaged. That is not what normal people do when they buy clothing from retail stores. Nothing gets damaged in the closet, heck, I bet even Forever21 or Marshall isn't this low quality. The item is not even cheap. I've been a long-time member of Nordstrom, so I expect at least Nordstrom Rack has acceptable quality, but apparently I was wrong. It totally fine I'm unable to return this item, but I'll never come back to any Nordstrom Rack again. If you buy anything from Rack, just make sure you check all the items within the return date, they may get damaged in the closet without you knowing, and they will shove you away when that happens. read more

You have to look through a lot of racks and sizes (despite the signs, everything is a bit mixed up) but you can find a few treasured items amongst the bunch. I found a couple blazers and a nice shirt for a significant discount. I thought I had a credit card but they couldn't find it looking it up, offering me a new card (which I already applied for when I was at the chain last). Incompetent, aggressively negative and incredibly rude customer service snd I caring managers as well. When making a return, it was botched in a variety of ways and I was told incorrectly that things couldn't be returned at the store - when I told the obnoxious cashier that I haven't done so numerous times and that wasn't true- she copped a MAJOR attitude and again, proceeded to lie to me about the policies. She was so incredibly uncomfortable to interact with and had a major attitude problem, clearly customer service is not a good fit for the likes of this nasty, nasty, clueless and arrogant brand representative- it actually makes me long for robots or self check out which I normally stay away from. Way too many intelligent and kind, competent people without jobs are out there and need to be in this person's position instead- turn the tables please. In addition to this, she lied about other issues, again with the worst attitude. This is not someone who deserves a job let along at a classy store/brand such as Nordstrom//NR. She didn't have the people skills, personality or intelligence and clearly not only is a complete failure at her job but sense to dearest doing it and her main goal seems to be ensuring people never shop here or Lonnie at the entire brand again. I confirmed this with a manager and was told there was nothing they could do for me. Seriously?? Another fan r"manager" strikes again. The disdain for customers and for their own job is horrifying and completely unacceptable. I guess from the top down, the treatment of customers and a lack of customer service skills is the norm. This store is ruining the brand for sure. Such a shame really they need an entire overhaul of their employees- management and cashiers.. People at the top on the company chain really need to get rid of everyone here before they lose even more customers in the future. 11/04 I found a wedge immediately tried on and was fascinated by how beautiful they looked and when i checked price they had no price tags so I approached the shoe department associate (I can't remember her name but she was a sweet hispanic lady) she place two red stickers under the wedges the price on the red sticker or label said 69.57 I said omg that's not bad for a brand that i never heard off but i never took them. On 11/06 now after not being able to get the wedges off my mind i went back Sunday and went straight to the shoes dept grabbed the wedges and walked towards the registers... the cashier had beautiful hair and skin but bad attitude and her and the cashier next to her were engaging into personal conversation as both ringing up customers and they both were cursing each other out in a playful way but of course totally unprofessional. My cashier lady says my total is 47.50 I said oh really even better! I remember she scanned the shoe box but because I couldn't find my wedges original box i just placed them in an empty shoe box available... I could have stay quiet but i am an honest citizen and I told her the shoe inside wasn't the one that belongs in the box so she voided amd proceeded to scan the wedges... when she scan it she immediately told me this is not the right price tag. She left for maybe 10-15 min (the store AC is always off so you know its hot AF all the time) once she comes back she says the wedges are $450 do you want them? I said how they went from 69.57 to 450 and she replied "this is a designer wedge what did you expect " i had to look back because I know she wasn't talking to me but unfortunately she was indeed talking to me that way so i said well I expect them to be 69.57 since you shoe association labeled them for me on Friday and she said impossible this looks like a customer switch the tag obviously iMplying i did it but without saying it directly because she knew better but I'm not stupid I know exactly what she meant. So now not only im disappointed about the huge difference in price but i am offended and disrespected by this cashier... so i said im not taking them thank you and I walked towards the middle of the store looking for A manager and I found one...I can't remember her name neither but she was a curvy set black lady I explain the situation(just the shoe situation and i let The cashier awful customer service slide then but i Adding it here cuz i should have said something then) and she walked off and came back to me And said Yeah the shoe is 450... at this point im kimd of getting upset because you guys made a huge mistake and couldn't honor me the price given the fact that it was marked on both shoes Amd by an employee who i saw placing those Labels umder the shoes ... the manager then said i can give you 10% off the 450 i said ma'am the shoe said 69.57 now its 450 because you won't honor it but you also won't give me a good deal. She looked at What i think was her phone and them said scratch the 10% i will give you 50% off since it was our mistake and you really want the shoes so here i am thanking her and feeling better because i did wanted the shoes so bad ... with taxes an everything the wedges were $287 and some cents ... I walked out and as im heading home something told me to check Nordstrom rack app so I grabbed the phone and search for the wedges on the app and when I found then and look at the price I almost faint because it was in that moment when I realized that the manager had lied to me BIG TIME. She was never giving me 50% off for their mistake... the wedge was already discounted for 239 and with tax adds up to 287 which is what I paid. OMG my blood pressure was and i was almost home.. I called the customer care line and explained the situation which was a waste of time because they couldn't do anything about the situation and to end my story the end result is now im stuck with a wedge that i got based on a trifling lie and every time I look at that wedge i will remember this terrible story. read more

I really enjoyed this store! So many great items. There were a lot of designer gems. There are two floors. The first floor is for sunglasses and glasses. However the second floor is where you can find everything else. I feel like the shoe section here seems bigger than the other location on 31st. I haven't been to this location in maybe 3/4 years and it is even better than before. This has always been a nice Nordstrom but I feel like they get more designer items now then they had in the past. read more
