    Love the pineapple wallpaper

I have been a fan of Cloak and Dagger since my days of working at Metrotech in downtown Brooklyn. Last weekend I was making my way down to the museum when I noticed their east village location. Wow!! Talk about gorgeous! I wanted every Zooey Deschanel Peter Pan collared dress and leather booties in the shop. This season was almost Wes Anderson movie lay out. There was little circular green suitcases, patterned shirts, colored slacks and fun printed little scarves for purse flare. I also loved the way the styled the model in a feminine slightly rocker look. The real drool-worthy item in my opinion is the Opening Ceremony purse with a small metal hand closure! Stunning! And with a pair of Andy Warhol's Factory silver shoes styled underneath the purse! Fabulous! The clerk showed me the wallet and it had a black hand with red nail polish closure and the coin purse inside even had a little hand as an opener. This is also a great place to find cards for many occasions! Thank you's and birthday cards are the popular ones. And adorable and soaps for when you have out of town guest! My favorite has to be the double printed pineapple wall paper! It made me happy and I wanted all for myself. I will be making more visits to this little shop and my wardrobe will thank me and my wallet will hate me. We can't all be happy. Sorry wallet!

I must admit Nordstrom organizes their jewelry well. All the boxes were neatly displayed on their shelves. Just the bad thing is the top shelf is very high and you need assistance or a ladder to look at them so that sucks. This is one of the most organized stores ever with all the accessories lined up and stored in an orderly fashion. There are rarely any loose accessories or misplaced product in the store. Made the shopping vibe feel a lot better. It is also very clean and carpet is nice to walk on without any dirt or loose garbage. By the checkout, there are aisles of mini and travel size lotions and facial cleansers from Kiehl's and Clinique that are almost winding down so they are that popular! I thought the cashiers were kind of slow because there were 3 of them working on the customers when there were so many cashier registers available for employees to go to. I wish they open more registers so the long line can go faster.

Had a really efficient experience at Nordstrom Rack recently. Also appreciated the proximity to the train station, which made the entire errand a lot quicker than I anticipated!

Such interesting pieces can be found as an origami-structured suits or basic knitwear with unexpected details. Lingo has pieces that allow anyone to show a little personality edge without standing too far out in the crowd. With brands such as Prairie Underground (great organic sweat shirts), Butter dresses, Nature vs. Nurture, Kelly Lane, and Filly, you are sure to find something quirky and unique. The owner Shin Yee Man knows how to choose clothes that are accessible enough for everyone, but have a one-of-a-kind, handmade quality that makes them more personal. A favorite is Cinderloop's grey draped tunic with uncommon red string that tucks and pulls to create a unique shape ($148). Most dresses range from $100-$180 and tops from $30-$100.
