I ordered the sampler platter with four sides and cornbread for $35 before tax. Let me tell you, I got home and opened up the platter and then all the sides, and I knew this was about to be good. The pulled pork doesn't need any sauce; it doesn't need anything. It has flavor in every bite. Not one piece is dried out, then I ate one of them sausages....... these will be the death of me, the sausage was perfectly cooked I don't know if they make them but man that flavor with the smoke hit me like a flyball, the ribs, fell off the bone, these ribs are so good they give big known restaurants a run for their money and then the chicken, how do they get that skin so crispy and not Burnt or dried out that chicken is nostalgic. Let's get into these sides GET THE GREEN BEANS!!! Goodness, that flavor can awaken a sleeping person, so get them! Potato salad is very good. I love the freshness of the onion and how it was not oversalted. You could add more if you want, but it's very good! Baked beans--no words. The flavor is undeniably fantastic, and the savory richness with a little kick is so good. I mixed a bit of potato salad with the beans, and oh my!!! Mac and cheese will have you aching for more. The pepper was not overwhelming, just a perfect amount of spice, and the creaminess was in every bite; not one bite was plain. All the macaroni was covered in cheese as it should be. Lastly, every bite of cornbread had me grinning from ear to ear. Definitely try this spot out. This meal is enough to feed two adults and two teenagers, and no one will be disappointed or feel hungry! Check out their sitting area. I love the fans to keep the bugs away, and all the shade! This business just made a Lifetime customer! Happy and Full, now I need a nap lol

Aloha Made BBQ is a family owned, Veteran owned and as legit as it gets! Niu and his wife Raquel are so nice, welcoming and full of the aloha spirit. Had to get the two meat plate with chicken and kalbi, 2 scoop rice, 1 scoop Mac salad. Also ordered the loco moco. Everything was delicious! The food is so ono. It really tasted like being back on the island. Niu was also kind to give us a sample of the kalua pork - tender and juicy and had that sweet smoky flavor, just perfect! Located on the left side of the VFW building, I cannot recommend this place more. We will definitely come back up this way for the food and the friendly vibes.

It was my first time going but didn't exactly know where to go so I called and they didn't answer but they immediately called back and were nice enough to give directions. The people that work there are very nice. I ordered the fried rice which in my opinion is hands down the best I've ever had, it was full of flavor and was sticy. The chicken is out of this world. So juicy with a good char. Spare ribs are packed full of flavor, the fat literally melts in your mouth. Mac salad was good. I love spam, and the musubi was amazing. The seaweed taste fresh, the rice is sticky and sweet, the spam is well spam so you can't go wrong! I will definitely be back and hope this business sticks around!

Veggies and side Turnip greens Mashed potatoes Mac and cheese Cabbage Corn Rutabaga Pinto beans Green beens Rice Entrees Spaghetti Baked chicken Fried chicken Pulled pork Fried fish Buffalo Bites Chicken and Dumplings Chicken livers Also turnip soup Salad bar Rolls, cornbread and a bunch of desserts. One interesting thing is that while it is all you can eat, they serve it cafeteria style. So you tell them what you want and they put it on the plate. This must have changed since COVID. You used to be able to serve yourself. The food is good, but it taste like someone is cooking scared. Nothing had any seasoning. Nothing popped with flavor. No smoke on the pulled pork (I got outside meat to be able to taste it) Bland spaghetti, bland chicken and dumplings, bland greens, bland, bland, bland - except for the fried chicken and fried fish which were okay, compared to the rest. Service was not overly friendly, or even friendly either. Pretty much here's your seat, here's your drink. I would probably come back one more time. Definitely will not come back if the next time is like this time. 2 1-2 stars is what I would give it. Rounding up to 3 in memory of a place that used to be a lot better.

Food: I'm actually gonna rate each item because this is my Yelp account and I do what I want!…read moreColeslaw - 6/10: It was missing something, like some heat or like raisins (kidding, kidding...). It wasn't bad just not the best I've had. Brisket Sandwich - 8/10: Big PLUS for offering a "lean" version! Nice. The only thing I would say is that the sauce was a little soupy. I prefer a thick, tangy BBQ sauce... but that's just me. Overall a great cut of beef! Mac n Cheese balls - 10/10: I've had cheese balls before, but these were friggin' awesome. They put brisket in with them! The outer layer was perfectly crisp, delicious Mac n cheese inside... I probably should not have eaten all 4 but I couldn't stop! Dang those were good. Cheesy Cornbread - 10+/10: It goes KFC biscuits, Red Lobster biscuits and then blowing both of those out of the water are these bad boys! Let's just say I'm glad they only gave me two. If I would have known how awesome those were, I probably would have ONLY gotten a meal of only biscuits! The cornbread wasn't too sweet, the edges were crispy and chewy, cheese in the middle... dude... I was done after those. Epic. Service: Good service, no complaints. But I saw another post on here about the "you order at the front but then they bring food to you" feel. So you feel obligated to give a tip...? But they didn't take your order at your table. It's just one of those places that is in between a fast food and formal service. Regardless, they were still nice and professional. Shout out to Eric for suggesting the Mac n Cheese balls! What an epic name! Atmosphere: It's like a cabin-ish feel inside, kind of like other BBQ places. It would be really funny if there was a BBQ place that had like, I dunno, an Anime theme or something...? I mean, that's a bit off the wall, but I'm just Sayin (see what I did there?) that all BBQ joints have pretty much the same feel. Cozy enough and clean so that's a plus! Price: Middle of the road. Solid meal will run you 25$ plus tip. But obviously it gets pricy if you get different cuts or more meat. Still even those prices weren't horrible. Oh and also CRUSHED ICE!!! Overall: Just three words for this one. "I'll be back," A.Schwarenegger
