This is right next door to a Youngsville staple, but definitely wanted to try the menu. First off, the customer Service starting with the greeting was great, max points for first impressions there. It was great, the bun was toasted and soft, the Lobster was great, pricey and would have liked fries or salad for value but still a great roll. I ordered from you guys tonight @ 6:34 on your square app and had my kid pick it up. You hadn't even seen the order 35 minutes after it was placed when we arrived for pick up. I pre-paid including a tip for a to-go order where you: 1)didn't have curly fries and subbed different fries without mention 2)didn't have onion rings and asked my kid if you could sub to which we agreed on mac & cheese -- the Mac & cheese was wet pasta on the bottom 1/2 & cheese sauce on top (once we mixed it the mac n cheese was one of the best bites of food) 3) left lobster off of the seafood fries without subbing or telling us (and the seafood fries smelled like past due seafood that my entire family couldn't eat more than 3 bites of) 4)you left off multiple toppings from a burger 5)you left out an entire order of pulled pork fries 6)every single thing in the order was cold (how is that even possible to send a cold order out when you didn't begin to prep it until the customer got there 35 minutes after ordering?) My kid left there with an incredibly wrong order after waiting 40 minutes from getting to your place. The entire experience was so awful that we had to laugh at the whole thing and consider it bad dinner and worse theater. I had to call after you were closed to discuss (only because of how long it took you to prepare the order) and so I had to leave a voicemail. An employee did return the call but at best was able to offer a refund for the missing pulled pork fries of for us to make the 20+ minute round trip to get the missing item. I asked for the owner to call me to which she said he would in about 5 to 15 minutes and that was now over an hour ago. it's not worth working with you guys to even get a credit back for $10 plus tax. I hope you figure out your problems and fix them because I was very excited to eat at your establishment after seeing posts on foodies of Lafayette, and now I will never go back again, or ever recommend anybody do so. read more

I have tried this place a few times. First the wings honey BBQ tastes like buffalo nothing about them tastes honey bbq. Fries are Terrible and they give you 3 packets of monark ketchup . Next time we try it I take a buddy and we both try the chicken sandwiches another failure. $22 for a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. If it's good I don't Mi d paying that much but the sandwich was complete trash. Chicken was over cooked with some old slaw that was brown on a non toasted bun. We had a coupon to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The guy at the register recommended the lobster roll and it's the best one we have had in the area. It doesn't compare to the ones in Boston, but the best we have had in the area. Large chunks of lobsters make the bites well worth it. The restaurant is small and is not a dine in fancy restaurant. A wonderful black owned establishment! You have got to try the lobster rolls. So succulent and full of flavor! The garlic butter and lemon was a perfect pairing for the delicious chipotle mayo on the lobster. The workers were even sweet enough to split our lobster roll in half since I was sharing with a friend. Even the side of curly fries were delicious. We just left and are having a beer at Corner Bar. We went to see what the hype was about. She had the lobster roll I had the pulled pork and we split an order of wings. We didn't finish anything. The sauce on the pulled pork tasted like a low rent tomato bbq sauce. She said the lobster was imitation and chewy. The wings were decent but nowhere near the hype they get. I'm a lobster snob, and I am so excited I don't have to head to Maine to get a good one now. ATF just so happens to do theirs how I like it (hot and buttered). Lobster mac and cheese was so rich and creamy as was the lobster bisque (big ol pieces of lobster). I'm a cilantro fanatic, so I can appreciate the way they garnish some dishes with it. From what I've seen from others' posts, they are very consistent with the presentation of their food. Also, the service was very speedy. read more

I got the lobster roll and so did my girlfriend, and I was very disappointed. The lobster was very tough and chewy. It did not taste freshest all. The bread was very tasty and seemed fresh. The price was comparable to lobster rolls I've had in other states but the quality was lacking. read more

Easy strip mall parking. Fast cheerful service. Everything else might be good, but the lobster roll (4 oz for $28) is a big, flavorless loser. If you have ever eaten lobster in New England or even at Red Lobster, you are not going to be happy. I would not be worried about trying something else, but the lobster is a hard pass. read more
