Caribbean Ice may take a little longer than some places to prepare their food, but there is a reason for that. #1 they are very busy due to their excellent food, #2 their excellent service, #3 it is a small establishment and they serve a variety of different things to satisfy everyone, #4 repeat #1 through #3. I have never and I repeat never been dissatisfied with their food or their service. I was very upset when I read the review of Kirk R., it seems like he is the problem, not Caribbean Ice. Sometimes you just can't satisfy the unsatisfied! My family and I eat there pretty often and it is top notch all the time! Tonight is crawfish, barbeque burger on sourdough bread, sweet potato fries and no one can top that. Somewhere between the old menu and the new one, the catfish fillets entered witness protection. What arrived on my plate looked less like catfish and more like a collection of heavily breaded suggestions of catfish. I've seen french fries wider than these strips. If there was actual fish inside, it was hiding better than Bigfoot. The spicy shrimp wrap also appears to have retired from the spice business. It now contains enough pepper jelly to qualify as a dessert, and so much of it that the wrap becomes a soggy engineering failure halfway through eating it. Then there are the onion rings. Calling them onion rings feels generous. They looked like someone lost a ring toss tournament and served the equipment. The frustrating part is that I genuinely loved this place. I live nearby and used to come here regularly. I even tried reaching out through the website before posting this review and never received a response. I hate leaving negative reviews, but somebody needs to stage an intervention for that catfish. This is Acadiana. We have standards. And right now, that catfish is filing a formal complaint against whoever approved it.

She is always so charming, considerate, gracious and courteous. She always aims to please her customers and carries her smile and that sparkle all day long. She's quick and efficient. I had the pleasure of speaking to one of the owners today and telling him how lucky the company is to have this young woman as an employee. He agreed and said he had just gotten a compliment on her that same day. He stated that he wished he had 5 Brittany's. She is definitely an asset to their company.
