    Big parking lot

Athan Downs Park is an amazing piece of engineering and maximum utilization of land use. every foot is maximized to allow usage for sports activities. amenities: 3 baseball fields, 4 soccer fields, a children's playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, picnic areas, green grass and a large parking lot. dogs are permitted too, but only on leases.

It's a very nice park for bringing your dog or walking around. There's a kiddie playground, picnic tables, basketball courts, baseball/soccer field and tennis courts. During the soccer/baseball season, this park fill up with a lot of parents in attendance and it will get crowded. If you're lucky, you might catch the Mr. Softee ice cream truck during the Summer!

After the play area's makeover, this park gets five stars and is one of the better playgrounds in the area for toddlers. They got rid of the sand and now only have one small sand pit for kids (yeah for me). Now the entire area under the play structure is the rubber mat with lots of cushion. The play structure is also huge, with lots of ramps for early walkers, shade, lots of slides, swings and a large variety built in activities. There are even sounds that come out of speakers when kids step on certain images on the rubber mat. This park also has tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, lots if picnic tables, and tons of green space.

Athan Downs is a nice little park. It has a sizable playground area for the kiddies, a ball diamond and an open field, basketball and tennis courts, a nice leafy picnic area, modern restrooms, and a snack shack. Gayle and I had a great time with the extended family here today.

We love this park. Even though it takes us about 20 min. to drive here, we always love to come here and have play dates. The climbing structures are perfect for all ages. It never gets boring and it provides a great opportunity for many open ended activities and play for the children. The big green field right behind the play structure is also great to run and play ball but sometimes there are ppl. who let their dog off leash and play (which I don't understand as this is not a dog park!) .. so gotta watch out for that. Lots of picnic tables in shaded areas but most mommies just sit on the sitting wall and have their snack there. Also another big plus lots of parking space!

Very clean and kept up with. The play structures are nice and my 8,7, and 4 year olds had a blast. There is a lot of grass area (like acres)! Picnic areas are clean. We didn't visit the bathroom.

Beautiful and clean family park. It is definitely a play for all of any age and level of sports depending on what you would want to play.

Great little park for young kids. The monkey bars and play structures were good exercise for my 4 and 6 year old boys.

Good and safe place for kids to play around. Also parents could run around the big ground to get their workout.

Out of the 80-minute session we booked, he ended up talking about himself or tennis in general for like 50 minutes. We barely got to hit balls - like literally only 2 baskets in the whole time . When I tried to give him some feedback on how he could've paced things better so we could've gotten more practice in, he suddenly turned super rude on me . Instead of listening or trying to improve, he just started bragging nonstop about how he's this amazing coach and how good he is at tennis. Honestly, the whole experience was more about him than learning anything. Wouldn't recommend Brett to anyone looking for a coach who's about helping you improve - not worth it .

Coach Brett may be a decent coach but may not be a good mentor for your kids' tennis…read more 1. He takes payment only through cash as quote on quote "so I can keep my unemployment status and tax purpose" it was a hassle to find 100$ bill all the time and tip him the 5$. I usually be generous for his effort coming down all the way. 2. He maybe LANGUAGE ABUSIVE AND RACISM--- My son only played one shot with a full swing because he watched some tv. Brett suddenly went off "I don't need your money. Take your money and your son will have no hope in tennis" it's extremely inappropriate to speak like this in front my kid. Especially last class he said my son playing as well as a 12 yr old for being just 6. 3. Then he went on and on about my tennis "did you learn some Chinese Tennis ?" I was immediately like WTH did that come from ?! So parents, you be the judge !
