I signed my two boys (4 yr old and 5 yr old) for spring break camp and thank god they loved it! I chose GrowFit because it is sports focused and I figured it would be suitable for my active boys. It was my first time signing my kids up for a spring break camp so I felt a bit nervous about how they would react to a new environment. My worries were immediately put to rest when I saw the fun interactions my kids had with coach John upon them leaving after the first day. With a big smile on his face, my boy was saying "you are the best!" back and forth with coach John. After returning home, they shared with me how much they liked playing football, basketball, tags, jumping house, and golf. I am thankful that the team at GrowFit took great care of my boys. This camp was very misleading. I enrolled my son in the 6-9 soccer camp and all sports camp (9:00 AM-4:00 PM), expecting structured soccer instruction. Instead, the day typically didn't start until 9:30 AM and was essentially over by 3:30 PM, with kids sitting around waiting for pickup. On the first day, one coach kicked a ball into my son's head and then disappeared for the rest of the week. My son came home every day saying he learned no soccer skills because there was little to no coaching. They didn't even play soccer on the last day. Most activities were random games unrelated to soccer. Afternoons consisted mainly of crafts, Legos, and a bounce house--fun activities, but not what was advertised. The check-in process was also disorganized. The receptionist repeatedly struggled to find my son's registration because she was confused about first and last names, despite his information being clearly visible in the system. She claims everyone makes mistake and that's ok, please tell this to your boss, not me. This camp has potential, but it is poorly managed and does not deliver what it promises. Updated based on Russ's feedback - the name in the system was correct because when your receptionist can't find it and handed me the iPad, I was able to look it up and it looks right. However, looks like it was sorted by first name but she asked for last name. I understand it was supposed to be very structured, but during class, it was not the case. My son even asked the coach to teach him how to kick and shoot better but the coach ignored him. read more

If you are looking for a camp for your kids to be active and happy, this is the one for you! My 6 year old is full of energy and this camp really is great with fun packed activities to keep the kiddos entertained and engaged. A big thanks to everyone on the team for their amazing work. We have three boys and they loved this camp this summer! It's indoors so you don't have to worry about the heat or sunblock. Coach John is very kind and friendly, he welcomes our crew in each morning and always seems genuinely happy to see them. I would highly recommend the GrowFit San Ramon camp for active kids who need something fun to do during the summer. The sign up can be for the entire week at a time or they have a day drop in rate as well, so it's easy to coordinate around other family summer trips. His right hand is in cast and his whole summer has been ruined because of this horrible camp . parents keep your children home than send your children to these bogus/fake camps who are just money making machines read more

This was our 4yo first time summer in camps and hands down Growfit was his favorite. Coach Jonathan and the other coaches were so welcoming and encouraging which made our normally very shy kid immediately comfortable participating. We attended several weeks intermittently in the summer and each week I could see our child becoming more confident and motivated to work hard and do his best. We appreciated the discipline and respect coach Jonathan and his team insist the campers show the coaches, other campers and themselves. The camp offered single day and full week sign ups which was great when there were times we didn't need a full week. The camp is full day and the campers do a lot of sports skill activities mixed in with some non sport activities like a bounce house. Our son's throwing and kicking skills improved a ton and each day he was very tired out. Our older child also attended and she equally had a great time and improved her ball handling skills. I'm a big fan of Growfit. It's a perfect experience for my kids - 4 years old and 8 years old. We joined the winter camp and most recently spring camp. My 4 year old started attending the Summer program at GrowFit and he loves it! This is the first all day summer program my son ever attended on his own, so I was initially uncertain about how it would go. However, the warm and thoughtful staff quickly put my mind at ease. Each day my son is personally greeted and guided through the activities so he feels supported and is able to enjoy the games without getting lost. I let the staff know that he still gets nervous using public bathrooms, and they worked with me to walk him through the process and sent me a text letting me know when he used the potty so I wouldn't worry. This is a big step for a 4 year old and their care and support is deeply appreciated. Not to mention my son has a great time and looks forward to playing with the other kids and coaches everyday. read more

I sent my younger brother here for camp, and he loved it! He was one of the older kids, so Coach Nicole gave him many tasks to do for her--like a young counselor in training--he will never forget her! We are of mixed race, and Coach Nicole happens to be black, so he had a familiar face as a mentor for the time being. She really made an impact on him, that he and I both, will never forget. I'm almost positive she has a special place in his heart because she treated him with the outmost kind and respect, she is a true leader, and a great person all around for me only getting to know her for a short amount of time, I am very pleased with how she runs the camp. My 4 yo son attended Growfit and loved it. Coach K (Khushi ) was very warm and friendly to my son who was a little shy at first. When I picked him up, he was so pumped about his day. He told us about all his activities throughout the day. They even sent me daily pictures of my son participating in his fun activities and games. As a parent, it's always been difficult for me to trust any daycares or camp for my son but i'm more than pleased by this place. As my son is a bit timid finds it a little hard to be in these kinds of environments I have to say these camp directors have done such a wonderful job with him and bringing him closer to the other kids. I'm a protective parent for sure. I hate leaving my kid at day care because, frankly, you just can't trust folks these days. My fears were removed when I dropped my kid off recently. I think the coaches name was Nicole. She was so patient with me and really mad sure I was comfortable before leaving. My kid was equally impressed when I picked him up later.
