Cute park that is fire engine themed! It's not very large bit it has a few slides and climbing areas. Good for all ages. There is a large grassy area for dogs to play on the side. The only thing missing are bathrooms read more

3.5 stars This is a very small park, made more for the homes that surround it than for the general public. I say this because it really is small AND there are no restrooms. So only those who live in walking distance have an option for toilets and hand washing. Also, you can tell how small this park is since there is no parking lot - just parking on the street around the perimeter. This park was definitely designed for this particular neighborhood. The firetruck theme is adorable, and the play structure is a decent size. However, it almost seems like they need at least another foot of bark in the play area. Everything is too high for my 4 year old, and he's pretty tall. The steering wheel for the truck is high, and there is a bench that toddlers can only get onto if you lift them. The bucket swings are also mounted insanely high - lifting a toddler into them is nearly impossible for a mom. More mulch will help, but the swings will still be too high. I'm not a fan of sand boxes as they are dirty - and they get your kids dirty, but the one here is a decent size. The trees provide a decent amount of shade and I like the benches and tables that you find around the perimeter of the play area. I live in the Twin Creeks area, and to be honest this park is not good enough for me to come out here again unless there is a set meet up here. It's cute but not great. read more

We happen to go to San Ramon for some work and our toddler was bored so we were looking for some parks nearby and Fire Truck park pop up first. We were attracted by the name and decided to stop by. It's a very small park but the fire truck structure play area is very attractive. At the entrance they have a cute little structure of a boy firefighter. Looks like the park is constructed for the neighborhood and so tiny and doesn't have restroom. The park is surrounded by some grass area where kids can run around. Pets are allowed in the park. They have couple of chairs to sit which are under shades and a small picnic table. Parking is around the park. This park is perfect for toddlers to spend sometime. Our toddler loved exploring the park. read more

WHAT a darling little place to play! Tucked in a peaceful neighborhood, away from busy streets, my children really enjoyed the space. There is a green field beside the playground which is perfect for dogs or children to run and throw a ball around, even soft enough to lay out a blanket and picnic! There are a few picnic tables if you aren't in to lush green grass, as well as benches facing the playground. A little sandpit for the diggers and plenty of climbing entrances on to the fire truck make this a very interesting place for toddlers. The playground also has infant and child swings. And a nice smooth side walk encircling the climbing equipment, great for keeping an eye out without interrupting the adventures of tiny firefighters! read more

Very quiet like most of the Windmere parks. If you like less crowds then this is a good spot. I think this is best for some of the younger kids as the firetruck structure may not appeal to the older kids. No bathrooms my only complaint. read more

Great park for toddlers, however, the city dropped the ball BIG TIME on this one. Our kids and all the kids we've observed seem to really enjoy the firetruck themed park along with the nice sized sand box. The BIG problem with this park is that there are NO RESTROOMS! I can not understand why the city would build a park specifically designed for toddlers (the potty training age as well as the "I will try to hold it until I'm about to burst because I'm having so much fun AND THEN tell my parents with only seconds to spare" age group). My kids are a little older now, so not so much of an issue, but when they were younger unfortunately we had to avoid this greatly themed park simply due to having no restrooms, and that is a shame on the city. Additionally, there really should be a second water fountain because the one they have is always clogged with sand so kids cant actually drink from it. With the very very high property tax rate for Windemere (highest in the entire county and I think highest in the whole Bay Area) you would think they would add these above much needed items at this park. It just does not feel complete without it and is an essential item for a park aimed for toddlers. read more

This place is so cute and fun! Our toddler loves it - mostly because of the fire truck theme, but also because it's just the right size for him, I think (it's a small neighborhood park). I like that it's easy to park here, and it's only 1 mile or so to Dougherty Station Library. Only downsides are it has no restroom, and the drinking fountain is often broken (from kids filling sand pails with water - would be nice to have a separate faucet for that). read more

This park is awesome. The play structure is set back from the street and there is a paved riding path around it so kids can ride scooters/trikes/what-have-you safely. I especially like it because my two boys can happily play for 2 hours and don't get bored. My toddler doesn't run off, either. Score! The only negative is the lack of restrooms, which is a must for potty training kids. Thankfully we are out of that phase for a while, so we thoroughly enjoy this park. read more

Pretty good park for kids of all ages. There is a large grass area where families often throw the ball around, kick the ball around, or just chase each other around. The "fire truck" play structure has a few slides, some climbing ladders, and other play apparatus'. There are two baby swings along with two standard swings. There is a medium sized sand box there also. There are also some tables and a bbq setup as well. Overall, it's a nice place to take the kids to play at. The only downside is that there are no bathrooms. read more

This is a fantastic little park- emphasis on the "little". It's reeeeeaaaally small with one play area, but it's a nice one. The whole thing is firetruck/fireman themed, and my little buddy loves driving the big firetruck and sliding down all over it. There's a nice sand pit right next to it, and a good-sized grassy area to run around in. That's about it! There are no restrooms here, fair warning! I'd say this park is great for smaller kids, but I think older kids would get bored very quickly. read more

Cute little park tucked within a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Ample street parking surrounds the park. The name of the park sums it up. It's truly a fire truck park with a wonderful fire truck to climb and play on. The truck is designed for slightly older toddlers and young youth as evident from how high off the ground the steering wheel is and from the signage on the structure. Nevertheless, your tot will surely enjoy the park. There's a sandbox so don't forgot the sand toys and a nice sized lawn area for picnics. read more

Wow, my son loves this park. Somebody told me about it and I'm happy I made the drive. Fire Truck Park is pretty new (2007) and is a part of the Windermere development in San Ramon. Basically, it is a fun play structure that looks like a fire truck. If you have a kid that loves fire trucks then they will dig this park. The structure includes a few different types of climbing ladders/poles, a couple of slides, lots of steering wheel things to spin, real truck tires on the bottom for the kiddos to climb through, and a few other fun gizmos to keep the hands and minds busy. There is also a sandbox, some game tables, and a tricycle circle at this park. The play structure has a sign that says it is designed for 5-12 year olds, though some older kids may get a little bored here,since it doesn't seem as tall and dangerous as some other structures I have seen for older kids. It seems really popular with the preschool-early elementary school crowd. Since it is a new park there are not a lot of grown in trees, so I imagine it will get really hot in the summer. read more
